JPM Pambudi merupakan jurnal yang dikelola dibawah unit Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Jurnal yang berbasis pada pengabdian masyarakat ini difokuskan pada empat (4) Pilar isu-isu unggulan Perguruan tinggi IKIP Budi Utomo Malang, yaitu: pengabdian yang konsen pada isu isu pendidikan berwawasan kearifan lokal, pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, kesehatan masyarakat dan lingkungan hidup, serta pengabdian yang memacu pada upaya pengelolaan keragaman di masyarakat sekitar kampus –kampus multi-etnik di Malang. Melalui empat isu di atas sekaligus menjembatani visi dan misi perguruan tinggi IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Untuk itu pengembangan kampus melalui pusat penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat ini akan terus membangun kemitraan strategis baik dengan masyarakat, universitas serta para pemangku kebijakan lokal nasional maupun internasional.

Abstract

The use of online learning tools has been urgent due to covid-19 pandemic. The tools have become primary needs in teaching and learning especially in English teaching. This program aimed at conducting training and workshop to use online learning tools for English teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Jombang regency, East Java. The workshop was done via zoom meeting because offline meeting was not allowed during the pandemic. The first topic presented in the established workshop was about how technology transform education. The next topics were more specific ones; they were about utilizing online learning tools and project based learning to teach the four skills in English. There were 148 participants attending the workshop. According to te participants, the most interesting topics during the workshop were about the use of story jumper to teach writing and how to make podcast to teach speaking.

Abstract

The purpose of this social service was to optimize the potential development of fresh star fruits by increasing added value to increase innovation of star fruit processed products, brand and marketing strategies trhough digital marketing in Kalangan Village, Ngunut District. The methods used in this community service activity were lectures, discussions, demonstrations and direct practice. The work plan was programmed within 1 month. The results of this service activity are the increasing knowledge of community groups in Kalangan Ngunut Village in terms of digital marketing and innovation of starfruit processed products. Besides, people in Kalangan Ngunut village can directly practice digital marketing to promote starfruit products. In addition, they also can apply innovations to process fresh starfruit into processed products in the form of starfruit dates as well as package and label the product into more interesting way. In addition, the activities also increase public awareness to always improve innovation and strategies in building entrepreneurship in order to help their businesses to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to describe environmental attitudes in the community in the tofu factory area, Karangploso District, Malang Regency. The method of carrying out activities is through the survey method. Data analysis used descriptive statistics by looking at the percentage and average. The population used is residents around the tofu factory, Karangploso District, Malang Regency, with a sampling technique through accidental sampling. The instrument used is an attitude scale questionnaire, interviews. Based on the results of the description, the average environmental attitude indicator shows the following criteria: the 'High' criterion is indicated by the attitude indicator number 1,3,7,15, then the 'Medium' criterion is indicated by the attitude indicator number 5,9,14, the 'Low' criterion is found. on the attitude indicator number 2,8,10, 12,13, then the 'Very Low' criterion is indicated by the attitude indicator number 4 with an average of 1,7. The conclusion of the environmental attitude of the community wants the need for an increase in waste management in the tofu factory area in Malang Regency.

Abstract

Community service carried out by Lecturer of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, IKIP Budi Utomo aims to help children affected by the earthquake to reduce trauma healing through playing activities and painting on water. The implementation method used in this activity is the method of playing and painting together on water (da suminagashi). Trauma Healing is a situation where children feel fear, anxiety, and fear due to events, accidents, natural disasters that have been experienced. This activity was carried out for three days and in collaboration with the Omdobara Command Post in Rembun Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency. This service activity is also assisted by four coordinators at the Omdobara Command Post who are used to interacting with children every day. The results of this activity, which can help parents and children in reducing the trauma caused by the earthquake that occurred a few months ago. Another result is that children can play and learn to paint on water together so that children can be happy again.

Abstract

In 2020, the outbreak of a new virus that shocked the world, namely Coronavirus Disease (Covid 19). There are some ways to survive from the pandemic such as obeying government instructions and increase the immunity of body. The purpose of the community service is to provide counseling or social outreach, as well as provide education related to improving maternal health and immunity during the pandemic. The activities of Community Service cover several stages. First, coordinating about the Community Service Agenda with the Head of Neighborhood and Citizens Associations. Second, the executor team prepare some materials of socialization. Third, the executor team conduct the educational outreach. In conclusion, improving maternal health and immunity can be reached by consuming healty food, providing healthy life, and avoiding stress.

Abstract

Fine motor skills are needed by early childhood considering that fine motor skills are one part of the stages of child development. The objectives to be achieved in this Community Service program were to provide information, provide understanding, and provide experience in making scrapbook art to improve the fine motor skills of children at RA Sirrul Khuluq, Malang Regency. The target in this program was the teachers. This program had been carried out in the form of training where teachers get information or theories about scrapbooking and fine motor skills in children in general and provide understanding and experience about simple and interesting scrapbook art suitable for children with appropriate natural themes. It can be concluded that this community service activity has been successfully proven by the enthusiasm of the teachers to ask questions, share experiences, discussion, and participate in scrapbooking.

Abstract

Education is the main factor to improve Human Resources (HR). The level of education in a person will affect the pattern of life of that person. Education is basically not just general knowledge or other words formal education, but education can be obtained through tutoring carried out in student environment. The purpose of tutoring is to help students who experience difficulties in learning during formal school hours and also for develop the potential of each student. One of the media used is a worksheet. The use of worksheets will make it easier for students to understand the material or subjects mathematics. In this regard, the Center for Research and Community Service (P2M) IKIP Budi Utomo Malang with Firda Alfiana Patricia as resource person assisted by Rachmawati, and Kenys Fadhilah Zamzam held tutoring to create a smart generation for elementary school students in RT 5 Selorejo Village. The activity is carried out in March – April 2021 with the agenda of socializing the use of math worksheets as a medium of learning guidance for elementary school students

Abstract

Covid-19 is a virus that causes a pandemic throughout the world, including in Indonesia. This virus develops rapidly and mutates into various variants, one of which is the Omicron variant. This virus causes various kinds of effects. The way to break the chain of spread of the Covid-19 virus is to implement health protocols. This community service has the aim of providing counseling and follow-up on the dangers of COVID-19, the Omicron variant, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 cases at SMK PGRI Singosari. This outreach activity is carried out in 3 stages, namely pre-PMBP activities, implementation of PMBP Activities, and Post-PMBP Activities (Follow-Up). In conclusion, breaking the chain of spread of COVID-19 can be done by implementing health protocols according to government recommendations and must be accompanied by a healthy lifestyle such as consuming a balanced nutritious diet, exercise, and adequate rest and vaccination.

Abstract

Bullying is an act of using power to hurt a person or group of people verbally, physically, or psychologically so that the victim feels depressed, traumatized, and helpless. Teenagers who are victims of bullying are more at risk of health problems both physically and mentally. Bullying behavior often occurs if someone has a deficiency in him, both physically and mentally. Increasing the understanding of teenagers regarding bullying behavior can reduce cases of bullying, why prevention of bullying is very important from a young age because basically this bullying behavior is very dangerous. The impact of bullying for adolescents is in the form of mental disorders ranging from sensitivity, extreme anger, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, decreased sleep quality, and feeling afraid to get along in a social environment. Through the bullying prevention counseling method, it is expected to have awareness and expertise in understanding the dangers of bullying behavior. The results of this activity are expected to be able to understand the dangers of bullying in an effort to prevent bullying behavior among teenagers.

Abstract

Potential-based community service (PMBP) is one of the important activities for the academic community as academic functional staff to develop knowledge, skills, and solve problems. This community service aims to provide education to the community about the importance of education, skills, and environmental stewardship. Individual potential-based community service activities (PMBP) of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang were carried out in Gunungsari Village, Pegergunung Hamlet and Claket Hamlet, Bumiaji Distriet, Batu City. This service activity is carried out from February 1 to March 31, 2022. This activity certainly has an impact on change for the village, where the results can be obtained, namely increasing learning development and being able to make products with their own hands that can be used as tablecloths. The result of this community service is an increase in knowledge, understanding, and awareness of education and the environment. However, this program cannot be carried out continuously due to time constraints in the implementation of PMBP. Therefore, we feel that this program is very good and needs to be followed up by the IKIP BUDI UTOMO MALANG campus
