JPM Pambudi merupakan jurnal yang dikelola dibawah unit Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Jurnal yang berbasis pada pengabdian masyarakat ini difokuskan pada empat (4) Pilar isu-isu unggulan Perguruan tinggi IKIP Budi Utomo Malang, yaitu: pengabdian yang konsen pada isu isu pendidikan berwawasan kearifan lokal, pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, kesehatan masyarakat dan lingkungan hidup, serta pengabdian yang memacu pada upaya pengelolaan keragaman di masyarakat sekitar kampus –kampus multi-etnik di Malang. Melalui empat isu di atas sekaligus menjembatani visi dan misi perguruan tinggi IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Untuk itu pengembangan kampus melalui pusat penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat ini akan terus membangun kemitraan strategis baik dengan masyarakat, universitas serta para pemangku kebijakan lokal nasional maupun internasional.

Abstract

The world is currently facing the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an economic, social and political impact, not only on major countries but almost all countries in the world. The small economic sector or what we know as MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) is pioneered by small communities, especially those in rural areas. A study stated that Covid-19 caused Indonesia to experience a decrease in the percentage of economic growth by 0.1% in 2020. In general, the following are the real impacts caused by Covid-19 on the SME sector in Indonesia. Community service which was carried out in collaboration with UPN Veterans Surabaya KKN students located in the Klampok Blitar sub-district, was carried out with the aim of inviting MSMEs to bounce back after this pandemic by taking the first step in the form of strengthening business management. In this business management there are several main things, namely production management, marketing management, human resource management and financial management. The four are a unit that must be managed together well, so that it can strengthen the establishment of a business. The socialization was attended by 36 business actors in Klampok Village, Blitar City. The approach used to implement this method uses the lecture method, question and answer, games (Role Playing), giveaway distribution and reflection (evaluation). From the evaluation results, the implementation of the socialization was very successful. The number of invited participants in attendance exceeded the number of invitees. And the enthusiasm of MSME actors is seen by their activeness in asking questions because of their high curiosity. In fact, most of the socialization participants wanted a similar event to be held on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

Injuries to sports activities can have a negative impact on physical activities. Sports injuries include physical injuries that usually occur during physical activity, whether amateur or professional. Football is a type of sport that has a high intensity and requires good physical endurance. This sport is very susceptible to injury. First aid training in the form of handling injuries can be seen as an important skill for the formation and training of needed experts, in this case trainers. The purpose of first aid techniques in the form of handling injuries are as follows; protect the further life of the individual, prevent adverse injury situations, and recover in the form of rehabilitation. The activity was carried out on February 16, 2022 at the Kampi Hotel Surabaya. The number of participants who took part in this community service activity was 73 football coaches, members of PSSI East Java.

Abstract

Technological developments have had a major impact on education so that educators must prepare themselves to develop processes and use of instructional media as the main means of supporting learning. The purpose of this study is to train teachers to be able to use Learning Houses as a technology-based platform that can be used as a learning medium. This service method uses the Assed Based Communities Development (ABCD) approach with community service steps, namely discovery, dream, design, define, destiny. Assisted subjects are IPPNU members. The assisted result is that the assisted subjects of IPPNU members are able to use, design and utilize the Learning House platform so that it can be used as an alternative free learning media.

Abstract

The learning process carried out at each individual's home experienced many obstacles during its implementation, including students easily bored, students' interest in learning decreased, and the learning process carried out was less focused so that the learning process was less effective. The learning process individually experiences obstacles because parents pay less attention to their children's learning process for reasons of being busy working, besides that it is also caused by a lack of knowledge. One solution to overcome this problem is through learning assistance activities which are part of the form of community service. Learning assistance through tutoring activities can improve achievement as well as learning motivation. The implementation of learning assistance with the group work method consists of five stages including: preparation, assessment, planning, intervention, and termination. The existence of this learning assistance activity helps students' ways of thinking become more open so that apart from influencing academics, they also learn how to socialize. This is evidenced by changes in attitude before the activity is carried out and after the activity is carried out.

Abstract

MAR (Mathematic Augmented Reality) is a learning tool that includes syllabus, lesson plans and student worksheets accompanied by AR (Augmented Reality)-based media. MAR (Mathematics Augmented Reality) is arranged systematically with the aim of exploring the level of student cognition assisted by augmented reality media, containing a series of learning activities, learning objectives have been formulated clearly and specifically with the help of augmented reality-based teaching aids. The geometric shapes presented in this activity are cubes and blocks. This community service activity was carried out at the Bulan Terang Utama Housing Complex, RT 15 RW 16 and was attended by the children of grades V and VI of elementary school.

Abstract

Indonesia has a low interest in reading, so reading literacy is also low. The observation results from the Teaching Campus team Batch 3 at SDN 1 Urek-urek showed that there was no library there yet, so students were not used to reading. The absence of library facilities can be overcome through the establishment of a reading corner. The reading corner is a reading area located in a corner. This type of research is descriptive research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that most students responded positively to the establishment of a reading corner. There is an effort from the teacher to increase interest in reading and improve the reading corner.

Abstract

This PKM aims to provide correspondence skills in English. Currently the need for communication in English is a necessity. This training involved staff from the Government Section in the Batu City administration who had several times received offers to work with foreign parties and overseas industries. Data collection techniques in this PKM are through observation, providing training, and conducting evaluations. During the training, participants showed active participation and had seriousness, willingness and high motivation to write correspondence. The training process (final writing training) provides benefits for staff, namely it can increase staff understanding of, foster motivation in writing correspondence, and carry out correspondence as well as for agencies can improve government performance. The results of this activity can be used as input for other department offices in an effort to improve the quality of staff and also cooperate with foreign parties for the development of networks and cooperation.

Abstract

Applying HOTS and the need for effective and efficient evaluation facilities for teachers is urgent for Malang schools. This study aimed to determine the results of HOTS training and online-based evaluation in Malang. This community service aims to find out the results of HOTS training and online-based evaluation for teachers in Malang. The training target is 40 high school Biology Teachers in Malang. The activity consists of 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the activity stage, and the evaluation stage. HOTS training and online-based evaluation positively impacted high school teachers in Malang. The average score of participants in Padlet development was 86.78%, 100% were able to make and apply Kahoot! in class, and 90.45% of participants had prepared questions according to the HOTS criteria and were able to identify their cognitive level.

Abstract

Interest in learning to read in class B at Muslimat NU Al-Hidayah Kindergarten because the teacher is not optimal in applying the learning method to read according to the rules, besides that the child's desire to read in activities in kindergarten often experiences this difficulty due to the ability and ability of children to understand one another. others are different, this is because children are not yet able to master vocabulary and letters of the alphabet. This service activity was carried out at the Muslimat NU Al-Hidayah Kudikan Lamongan Kindergarten. The work program that has been prepared in these activities is more focused on mentoring programs (in the form of group B reading learning assistance). Implementation of Activities Children who learn to gain new knowledge, and can apply what is explained or taught by students who carry out community service activities at the PAUD Al-Hidayah Kudikan Lamongan building. As for the results they got, namely teachers could practice reading learning methods and media that were interesting and could be practiced at school or at home, so as to increase interest in reading Muslimat NU Al-Hidayah Kudikan Lamongan Kindergarten students.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide thorough knowledge of the FIFA standard futsal rules, and also provide basic knowledge on how to become a futsal team coach in the form of training activities. The methods or stages carried out in training activities go through 4 stages, namely the stages of observation, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The result of community service is that the implementation team has completed activities in the form of training on futsal rules and how to be a good coach for a futsal team. This training activity received very good feedback from participants and from invited practitioners, it is hoped that this activity can be carried out periodically to provide insight and knowledge to students and alumni of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang for each generation.
