JPM Pambudi
JPM Pambudi merupakan jurnal yang dikelola dibawah unit Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Jurnal yang berbasis pada pengabdian masyarakat ini difokuskan pada empat (4) Pilar isu-isu unggulan Perguruan tinggi IKIP Budi Utomo Malang, yaitu: pengabdian yang konsen pada isu isu pendidikan berwawasan kearifan lokal, pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, kesehatan masyarakat dan lingkungan hidup, serta pengabdian yang memacu pada upaya pengelolaan keragaman di masyarakat sekitar kampus –kampus multi-etnik di Malang. Melalui empat isu di atas sekaligus menjembatani visi dan misi perguruan tinggi IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Untuk itu pengembangan kampus melalui pusat penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat ini akan terus membangun kemitraan strategis baik dengan masyarakat, universitas serta para pemangku kebijakan lokal nasional maupun internasional.

<![CDATA[Waste generation in Jember and Bondowoso districts is estimated at more than 500 m3day. More than 70% is organic waste. It can have multiple effects. There are three main products produced from this program, the first is composter, the second is HCS bioactivator and the third is liquid compost. The approach method includes stages: a). Socialization of PKMS program on Composter and Compost Making Technology b). Preparation of social preconditions, i.e. Coordination with the Gayo Jember Community regarding solving problems faced by members c). Implementation of the Composter Making technology and compost technology application programs, both technical and non-technical for the community, d). Monitoring, evaluation and reporting. The implementation of the Community Stimulation Partnership Program (PKMS) Composter Technology and Household Scale composting will improve the optimization of household waste function as raw material for organic fertilizer, increasing the income and welfare of members of the Gayo Jember-Bondowoso Community.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of communication technology, especially mobile phones (HP), demands the role of parents in being able to assist children in using it. Elementary school’s children nowadays are easy to open and use all the features available, so they have become accustomed to using social media. The tendency of children in social media still needs parental supervision and control, but not all parents are able to compensate for the intelligence of children in using mobile phones and existing features, especially Social Media. Therefore, efforts are needed to educate parents in assisting children in communicating through technology. This dedication is done in an effort to educate students' parents accompanying their sons to be smart in social media at Muhammadiyah Lawang Elementary School.]]>

<![CDATA[The main thing in the process of raising goats so that they can get benefits quickly is regular feeding. Based on the pleasant experience of the goat breeders complaining about the difficulty of getting natural food during the dry season. Or if there is a compilation of rainy season food available, then the breeder will eat it in feeding the goats every day. To do this, there is now a modern and easy way to raise goats that is quite easy and profitable is that cattle use fermented feed so they do not look for food every day. This method is not yet known by many goat farmers in both villages and cities in the country including in partner villa villages namely Jorong Padang Ambacang Nagari Batu Balang will be able to bring benefits that are more optimal and easier in raising goats. Community service aims to provide konowledge and skill to partners or goat farmers in animal husbandry management and application of science and technology to produce animal feed by fermentation. Methods of Implementation of activities carried out by applying appropriate technology and improving business management. The appropriate tecnology application implementation scheme is a training program to make alternative/ artificial fermentation. While management improvement training is realized in the form of counseling and training. The results of this service have been able to increase community knowledge about goat breeders in the terms of livestock business management and animal feed manufacturing through fermentation.]]>

<![CDATA[Saptorenggo Village is declared as a Covid-19 red zone. However, the villagers, especially the residents of Perum Amerta Residence continue to engage in outdoor activities even some of them still work out of town. This behavior is a source of major problem in the distribution of Covid-19 at the Amerta Residence housing estate. A mutual agreement between the service team and the head of RT 08 and residents of the Amerta Residence housing estate to overcome the problem is needed so that the socialization and assistance in preventing the spread of Covid-19 can be performed. This type of activity is community service at the Amerta Residence RT 08 housing estate from March to June 2020. The procedure for community service activities consists of four stages including socialization through deliberations, the formation of the Perum Tanggap Covid (PTC) team, periodic disinfectant spraying assistance, and evaluation of community service activities. The results of this community service show that the community service team has succeeded in carrying out community service activities base on the planned targets. In addition, residents of Amerta Residence housing estate can follow all the service activities that have been designed by the service team]]>

<![CDATA[Departing from the various realities as described above, the implementer of this service wishes to examine the importance of the exemplary educators in shaping the character of children. This dedication will begin with the basic concept of modeling, then end with the importance of modeling for the teacher in shaping the personalities (characters) of children towards independence. The role of parents is very important, especially to catch the concrete rather than the abstract. As a second parent, the teacher might find it easy to communicate his message verbally. However, children will find it difficult to understand the message if they see that their education does not provide an example of the message it conveys. Advances in technology also have an impact on children's behavior along with the progress of science and technology. This gives a very big impact on the behavior of students who increasingly leads to negative things. Children's behavior patterns tend to deviate from the corridors of noble morals. Based on the range of exemplary values in the interaction of character building namely: efforts to ask for parental support, not getting bored giving directions, cooperation of all parties. The factors supporting the exemplary methods in PAUD, teachers, teaching materials, the local environment and schools, technological progress.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this PKM activity is a workforce that has not worked in Bedayu village, Senduro sub-district, Lumajang Regency. So far, entrepreneurship has been conveyed only through socialization to increase public awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship as a way to reduce high unemployment. But in reality socialization alone is not enough to make people motivated and interested in entrepreneurship. The method of implementing the PKM Economic Education Study Program embodies the entrepreneurship workshop program in a combination of hard skills and soft skills in the form of a combination of educational socialization about entrepreneurship and training to manage the potential of the Bedayu village area to improve the economic status of the community. The human resource competency program (hardskill) is related to how to cultivate the potential of the Bedayu community. While soft skills are related to the development of simple entrepreneurship that can be done in the easiest way accompanied by how to package and calculate the profits to be gained. The result of community service activities is the achievement of soft beds from the Bedayu village community for their interest in carrying out home-based entrepreneurial activities by creating business opportunities in the form of coffee products and marketing outside the Bedayu region]]>

Implementation of these community activities using cycle learning, namely: 1. <![CDATA[Writing skills are an important aspect of academic performance as well as performance related to active skills that must be mastered, including in class XI SMK students. However, there are still many students who are not good at it, including writing lecture texts. Apart from the lack of skill in writing lecture texts, advanced stages such as rhetoric practice (lectures) are still low. Thus, this study focuses on examining the correlation between lecture text writing skills and achievement in rhetorical practice (lecture). The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with 50 participants of class XI SMK 02 Nusantara Kesehatan who have previously participated in online Community Service (PKM) activities carried out by the Indonesian Literature Study Program at Pamulang University with the theme "Rhetorical Practical Online Training in Writing Skills. Text of the Class XI Student Lecture at SMK Nusantara 02 Kesehatan "which was held 7—1 September 2020 with Google Meet media. The result of this study is a very significant influence between the skill of writing lecture texts (X) on the achievement of rhetoric practice (Y), which is 0.926. In addition, there is a contribution made by the skill of writing lecture texts (X) to the achievement of rhetoric practice (Y), which is 85.8%.]]>

In terms of food security, people still lack knowledge and information. This also affects the level of creativity in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic to innovate in an effort to stabilize economic activity, especially in terms of food security. The aim of this service is to increase food security during the Covid-19 pandemic through Budikungdamper (Cultivating Fish and Water Spinach in Buckets).
