Abstract

This study investigates the mediating role of brand trust in the relationship between Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), content marketing, and live streaming on Generation Z purchase decisions on TikTok Shop in Bali. The study employed a quantitative approach involving 210 Generation Z consumers in Bali who had previously purchased products through TikTok Shop. Data were collected using an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLLS software. The results indicate that E-WOM, content marketing, and live streaming have positive and significant effects on brand trust and purchase decisions. Furthermore, brand trust significantly mediates the influence of E-WOM, content marketing, and live streaming on purchase decisions. Among the examined factors, live streaming demonstrates a strong contribution to enhancing consumer interaction and building brand trust. These findings highlight that online businesses can improve purchase intention and sales performance by strengthening brand credibility through positive customer reviews, engaging content strategies, and interactive live-streaming activities. This study contributes to social commerce and digital consumer behavior literature by emphasizing the strategic role of brand trust in shaping Generation Z purchasing decisions in digital marketplace environments.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of financial literacy and financial technology on the consumptive behavior students in Sintang. Adopting a structured quantitative research design, the study analyzes these economic phenomena through empirical hypothesis testing. To ensure data representativeness, a purposive sampling technique was applied to select 300 student respondents who met the predefined criteria, though it is acknowledged that this non-random sampling approach may limit the generalizability of the findings beyond the specific institutional and regional context examined. Data collection was conducted via questionnaire instruments that satisfied the rigorous standards for both validity and reliability. Ultimately, the analytical phase employed Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) facilitated by the SmartPLS 4.0 software platform. The empirical findings indicate that financial literacy exerts a significant negative influence on the consumptive behavior of students (p-value = 0.000 < 0.05), thereby highlighting the critical role of financial competence in regulating and managing daily spending habits. In contrast, the structural analysis reveals that financial technology demonstrates a non-significant effect on student consumptive behavior, as supported by a p-value of 0.136, which clearly exceeds the established statistical significance threshold. While the sample size of 300 respondents is considered adequate for PLS-SEM analysis, caution should be exercised when generalizing these conclusions to students from different institutions, regions, or socioeconomic backgrounds.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of the Fraud Hexagon on financial statement fraud, utilizing corporate governance as a mediator. The research focuses on non-consumer cyclical manufacturers on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021-2024, involving purposive sampling. The test results show that Rationalization has a significant negative effect on Corporate Governance Mechanisms, while Ego has a significant positive effect; meanwhile, Pressure, Capability, Opportunity, or Collusion do not show a significant effect. Furthermore, regarding Fraudulent Financial Statements, Pressure, Capability, Rationalization, and Corporate Governance Mechanism were found to have a significant negative effect, while Opportunity had a significant positive effect; however, Ego or Collusion did not have a significant effect. The mediation test results indicate that Corporate Governance Mechanisms significantly mediate the effect of Ego in a negative direction and mediate the effect of Rationalization in a positive direction in Fraudulent Financial Statements; however, they do not mediate the effects of Pressure, Capability, Opportunity, and Collusion. These results validate that corporate governance effectiveness serves as a pivotal bridge between Fraud Hexagon elements and financial fraud. Nevertheless, as this research relies on structural metrics, further research is recommended to develop more substantive measures of governance that encompass the quality of implementation, ethical culture, and the effectiveness of oversight.

Abstract

This study examines the correlation between environmental performance and corporate value and examines the intermediary role of financial performance in banking companies quoted on the IDX for the duration of 2022-2024. This study is quantitative and Particularly employing panel data regression techniques via Eviews 12. Environmental performance is measured through the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 disclosure index, financial performance relies on Return on Assets (ROA), and firm value relies on Price to Book Value (PBV). The study findings reveal that environmental performance fails to significantly impact firm value. Environmental performance also fails to significantly impact financial performance, and financial performance fails to significantly effect firm value. Therefore, financial performance fails to facilitate the connection between the two. These findings indicate that sustainability practices in the banking sector have not yet become a focal point for market participants.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), and Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) on firm value, with the duration of ISO 9001:2015 certification (ISO tenure) as a moderating variable, among non-financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from companies’ financial statements and ISO certification documents. The sampling technique utilized purposive sampling, involving 69 companies or 345 observations. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with a Random Effects Model (REM). The results indicate that ROA has a positive and significant effect on firm value, whereas CR and DER do not have a significant effect. Furthermore, ISO tenure moderates the effect of ROA on firm value but does not moderate the effects of CR and DER. The novelty of this study lies in the use of the duration of ISO 9001:2015 certification as a moderating variable in the relationship between financial performance and firm value. These findings suggest that consistent implementation of a quality management system strengthens the impact of profitability on firm value growth.

Abstract

This research looks into the factors that QRIS adoption of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Purwokerto by examining the influence of perceived usefulness, perceived trust, user interface, and perceived ease of use on behavioral intention and its implications for the decision to use. The study addresses inconsistencies in previous digital payment adoption research by integrating technology-related and behavioral factors into a comprehensive model focused specifically on MSMEs. In a quantitative study, purposeful sampling was employed. manner, involving 166 MSME respondents who had an interest in using QRIS. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that perceived ease of use is the only factor that significantly influences behavioral intention, while perceived usefulness, perceived trust, and user interface do not show significant effects. Furthermore, behavioral intention has a strong favorable impact on the decision to use QRIS. These findings suggest that MSME adoption of digital payment technology is more strongly driven by operational simplicity and ease of learning rather than perceived benefits, trust, or interface quality. The research advances technological advancement adoption literature by demonstrating that the traditional assumption of the Model of Technology Acceptance, which positions perceived usefulness as the dominant determinant, is not fully applicable in the MSME context. In practical terms, the results indicate that digital payment providers and policymakers ought to give priority to system simplicity, user-friendly features, and digital education to increase QRIS adoption among MSMEs.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Sustainable Omnichannel Operations (SOO) on Sustainable Performance (SP) among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia through the mediating roles of Big Data Analytics Capability (BDAC) and Dynamic Capabilities (DC). A quantitative approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with data collected from 331 MSME owners and managers implementing integrated online and offline sales channels. The findings reveal that SOO positively and significantly affects BDAC, DC, and Sustainable Performance. In addition, BDAC positively influences both DC and Sustainable Performance and successfully mediates the relationships between SOO–DC and SOO–SP. However, Dynamic Capabilities were found to have no significant effect on Sustainable Performance and failed to mediate the relationships involving Sustainable Performance. These findings indicate that MSMEs’ sustainable performance is more strongly influenced by data-driven analytical capability than by organizational adaptability alone. This study contributes to the sustainable digital transformation literature by providing empirical evidence on the integrated relationships among SOO, BDAC, DC, and Sustainable Performance within the MSME context.

Abstract

Improving the quality of hospital services is strongly associated with the performance of nurses, who play a vital role in delivering patient care and ensuring organizational effectiveness. Nurses’ performance is influenced by various factors, particularly the work environment and workload. A supportive work environment can enhance motivation, job satisfaction, and productivity, while a balanced workload enables nurses to perform their duties efficiently and maintain high standards of care. This study aimed to analyze the effects of the work environment and workload on the performance of nurses in the inpatient unit of Royal Prima Jambi Hospital, both individually and simultaneously. A quantitative research design was employed, involving 48 nurses selected as study participants. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The findings revealed that both the work environment (X1) and workload (X2) had a positive and statistically significant effect on nurses’ performance (Y). These results indicate that improvements in workplace conditions and effective workload management contribute substantially to enhanced nursing performance. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.721, demonstrating that 72.1% of the variation in nurses’ performance could be explained by the combined influence of the work environment and workload, while the remaining 27.9% was attributable to other factors not examined in this study. The study highlights the importance of creating a conducive work environment and implementing appropriate workload allocation strategies to optimize nurses’ performance and improve the overall quality of healthcare services. These findings provide valuable insights for hospital management in developing policies aimed at strengthening workforce performance and service quality.
