Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of psychological contracts, career development, and organizational climate on employee performance at the University of Mataram. Employee performance, in the context of state universities, is not only influenced by structural and administrative aspects, but also by psychological factors, human resource development, and perceptions of the work environment. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method, where data was collected through questionnaires distributed to educational staff at the University of Mataram. Data analysis was conducted using inferential statistical analysis techniques to test the relationship and influence between research variables. The results showed that psychological contracts, career development, and organizational climate had a positive and significant influence on employee performance. A fulfilled psychological contract increased employee commitment and responsibility to the organization. Career development that is systematically and sustainably designed contributes to the increased competency and work productivity. Meanwhile, a conducive organizational climate, characterized by good communication, leadership support, and cooperation among employees, plays a crucial role in shaping positive work behavior. The findings of this study imply that the University of Mataram needs to strengthen its human resource management policies oriented toward fulfilment of psychological contracts, fair and transparent career development, and creation of a supportive organizational climate. These efforts are expected to improve employee performance sustainably and support the achievement of the institution's strategic goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality, price, and promotion on purchasing decisions at Toko AW Kosmetik. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consists of all consumers of Toko AW Kosmetik, with samples selected through an accidental sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis techniques include classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that partially, product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Price also has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, indicating that the suitability of price with the benefits received is a primary consideration for consumers. Promotion is proven to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, where the intensity and attractiveness of promotional activities can increase consumer interest and encourage purchasing actions. Simultaneously, product quality, price, and promotion have a significant effect on purchasing decisions at Toko AW Kosmetik. The coefficient of determination shows that the independent variables explain a substantial proportion of the variance in purchasing decisions, while the remaining variance is influenced by other factors outside the research model. In conclusion, improving product quality, setting competitive prices, and implementing effective promotional strategies are key factors in increasing consumer purchasing decisions at Toko AW Kosmetik.

Abstract

Firm value is an important indicator for investors in assessing corporate performance and future prospects. However, previous studies on the relationship between market capitalization, dividend policy, and firm value have produced inconsistent results. This study aims to examine the effect of market capitalization and dividend policy on firm value in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2024 period. This study employed a quantitative explanatory approach using secondary data obtained from annual reports and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A purposive sampling technique was applied, resulting in 18 companies as the research sample. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS Version 25. The results indicate that market capitalization has a positive and significant effect on firm value, while dividend policy has a positive but insignificant effect. These findings suggest that investors place greater emphasis on market valuation than on dividend distribution when assessing firm value. This study contributes to the corporate finance literature by providing updated empirical evidence on the determinants of firm value in Indonesia's food and beverage sector and offers practical insights for managers and investors.

Abstract

This study examines the differences between mudharabah and musyarakah contracts and their implications for Islamic banking practices. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, the study analyzes data obtained from scientific journals, books, and related academic sources through descriptive and comparative analysis. The discussion focuses on key aspects of both contracts, including capital contribution, business management, profit-sharing mechanisms, and risk distribution. The findings indicate that mudharabah provides greater flexibility because business management is fully entrusted to the entrepreneur. However, this contract is more vulnerable to information asymmetry, moral hazard, and monitoring difficulties, which increase the level of financing risk. In contrast, musyarakah offers a more balanced partnership model through direct involvement of all parties in business management and decision-making, resulting in stronger control and more manageable risks. Consequently, musyarakah has become more widely applied in Islamic banking practices due to its stability and suitability for modern financing systems. The study also reveals a gap between the theoretical ideal of profit-sharing contracts and their practical implementation in Islamic financial institutions. Although mudharabah conceptually reflects a higher level of trust and partnership, its application remains limited because Islamic banks tend to prioritize financing models with lower operational risks. Meanwhile, musyarakah is considered more adaptable to contemporary banking needs due to its balance between profitability, supervision, and financial stability. Therefore, the study emphasizes the importance of strengthening supervision mechanisms, improving transparency, and developing innovative contract models to optimize the implementation of profit-sharing principles in the Islamic financial system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, price affordability, and brand equity on purchase decisions of porang rice through halal awareness in Central Jakarta. Porang rice is an alternative food product with high fiber and low calorie content that has the potential to support food diversification in Indonesia. However, consumer acceptance of porang rice is still relatively varied and influenced by several marketing factors as well as halal considerations. This research used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to consumers who had knowledge or experience purchasing porang rice in Central Jakarta using purposive sampling. The variables analyzed consisted of product quality, price affordability, and brand equity as independent variables, halal awareness as a moderating variable, and purchase decision as the dependent variable. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach through SmartPLS software. The results showed that product quality, price affordability, and brand equity have a significant effect on purchase decisions. These findings indicate that marketing factors combined with halal awareness play an important role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions for porang rice in urban areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the most dominant Budget Implementation Performance Indicators (IKPA) and the factors causing differences in IKPA achievement based on the dual roles of KPPN Yogyakarta as a work unit and the State General Treasurer. This research employs a qualitative approach using interview data and secondary IKPA data from 2022–2025. The findings reveal that DIPA Page III deviation, budget absorption, and output achievement are the most influential indicators affecting overall IKPA performance. Differences in IKPA achievement between the two institutional roles are primarily driven by variations in managerial control, budget management complexity, and the characteristics of supervised work units. These findings indicate that IKPA performance is shaped not only by internal budget management quality but also by institutional role and governance structure. Therefore, efforts to improve IKPA achievement should prioritize strengthening budget planning, monitoring mechanisms, work unit supervision, and optimization of dominant performance indicators

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Dark Personality Traits on the intention to exaggerate online reviews among Indonesian social media users. The study focuses on narcissism, machiavellianism, psychopathy, and moral disengagement in the context of organic social media reviews. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, resulting in 244 valid responses, and analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4. The results show that machiavellianism positively influences exaggeration intention, whereas narcissism and psychopathy do not have significant direct effects. However, all three Dark Personality Traits positively influence moral disengagement, which significantly increases the intention to exaggerate online reviews. Moral disengagement emerged as the strongest predictor, highlighting its role in facilitating information distortion. This study contributes to the literature on consumer ethics, digital marketing, and the Dark Triad in a collectivist, non-Western context. The findings also provide practical implications for businesses and social media platforms in improving review monitoring systems, strengthening digital ethics awareness, and maintaining the credibility of online review ecosystems.
