Abstract

This research aims to explore the strengthening of the role of social institutions in women's empowerment and increasing gender equality. The research method used is mixed-method, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data was collected through observations, in-depth interviews, surveys, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with women aged 15-50, leaders of social institutions, and government officials. The results show that education and training programs organized by social institutions have significantly increased skills, economic independence, and awareness of women's rights. However, cultural resistance and gaps in educational facilities are still major challenges in the implementation of gender equality programs. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of community-based inclusive strategies to overcome cultural resistance and the need for long-term evaluation of women's empowerment programs. In addition, increased collaboration between social institutions, governments, and the private sector is encouraged to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of these programs

Abstract

This study focuses on the educational challenges faced by schools serving internally displaced children in Northeast Nigeria, particularly related to the shortage of qualified teachers, infrastructure crises, and reliance on external aid. The primary objective of this research is to explore and analyze the impact of these factors on the quality of education provided in these schools, as well as to identify opportunities for improvement. The research methodology employed is qualitative, utilizing a case study approach that involves in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis across three different schools in the Borno region. The findings reveal that the lack of formally trained teachers significantly affects the quality of instruction, which is further exacerbated by inadequate infrastructure and a high dependency on external aid for educational materials. The implications of this study highlight the need for more coordinated and sustainable interventions, which not only rely on external support but also focus on strengthening the internal capacities of schools, including teacher training and infrastructure improvement. This research is expected to make a meaningful contribution to efforts aimed at strengthening the educational system in crisis areas and ensuring that the right of children to receive quality education is upheld.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an ideal leadership model for Islamic educational institutions based on cultural diversity. The focus of this research is to understand how the interaction between leadership and cultural diversity affects management effectiveness and the quality of education in these institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation analysis in several Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia that have a high level of cultural diversity. The results show that the success of leadership in this context is highly dependent on the ability of leaders to adapt to local cultural values, integrate those cultures into management practices, and create an inclusive and participatory environment. The proposed leadership model emphasizes the importance of flexibility, inclusivity, and respect for cultural diversity. The implications of this study show that a leadership approach that is responsive to cultural diversity can improve the effectiveness of management and the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. The study also recommends the development of leadership training programs that focus on cultural diversity to strengthen leaders' ability to face complex challenges.

The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data triangulation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the integration of character education in the curriculum can educate students' intellectuality and character at the same time, the role of teachers becomes very crucial as role models, character development programs become more intensive with five days of living in the ma'had, social activities, and community support play a significant role in increasing students' social awareness. Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the influence of principal leadership and virtual classroom-based supervision on learning effectiveness in elementary schools, with teachers' self-efficacy serving as a mediating variable. The main objective of this research is to examine how the combination of effective leadership and the integration of technology in supervision can enhance the quality of learning. The study employs a survey method with a causality approach, gathering data from 200 elementary school teachers in Jakarta. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) facilitated by AMOS 24 software, which enables the examination of both direct and indirect relationships between the variables. The findings reveal that principal leadership and virtual classroom-based supervision significantly impact learning effectiveness, with teachers' self-efficacy reinforcing these effects. These results suggest that leveraging technology in supervision and fostering leadership development in schools are effective strategies for improving learning outcomes. The implications of this study contribute significantly to the formulation of innovative and technology-driven educational policies, which can be utilized to enhance the quality of education at the primary school level.
