Abstract

This study aims to analyze human resource development strategies in the digital era at the Institut Agama Islam Pangeran Dharma Kusuma Indramayu. The digital era requires higher education institutions to have adaptive and innovative human resources in technology and teaching. This qualitative descriptive research employed interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that HR development strategies were implemented through digital literacy training, administrative digitalization, and faculty competence improvement. The main challenges were limited technological infrastructure and resistance to change. Continuous training, mentoring, and managerial policy support were applied as solutions. The study concludes that successful HR development in the digital era requires synergy and commitment across all organizational elements.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola asuh orang tua dalam membentuk kepribadian anak usia dini, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penerapan pola asuh tersebut, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap kepribadian anak di PAUD An-Nashor Karangampel, Kabupaten Indramayu. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan 10 orang tua dan guru, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lima jenis pola asuh diterapkan oleh orang tua: otoriter, otoritatif, permisif, demokratis, dan pembiasaan. Pola asuh demokratis dan pembiasaan paling dominan karena dianggap paling efektif dalam membentuk kepribadian positif seperti kedisiplinan, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan empati. Faktor yang memengaruhi penerapan pola asuh meliputi latar belakang pendidikan orang tua, kondisi ekonomi, nilai agama, serta pengaruh lingkungan sosial dan media. Dampak positif terlihat pada anak yang menunjukkan sikap terbuka, mandiri, dan patuh, sedangkan dampak negatif muncul pada anak yang dibesarkan dengan pola asuh otoriter atau permisif berlebihan, seperti rasa takut, rendah diri, atau kurang disiplin. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kolaborasi sekolah-orang tua dalam penguatan pola asuh berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dan pendekatan perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Parenting at home has a significant impact on gadget use in early childhood, which can be traced through a narrative research approach. This method allows the collection of stories and experiences of parents and children regarding their interactions with technology. In this study, in PAUD An-Nur, the narrative obtained shows that democratic parenting, which prioritizes open communication, can be useful in guiding children to use gadgets wisely. On the contrary, authoritarian parenting often creates tension, triggering children to hide in excessive use of gadgets. In addition, parent stories show that the presence of parents in guiding the use of gadgets, such as setting screen time and choosing educational content, has a positive effect on children's cognitive and social development. By delving into this experience, this study reveals that emotional support and active involvement of parents in digital activities are able to foster healthy habits in the use of technology. This creates a higher awareness in children about limits and responsibilities, as well as the impact of technology on their mental and physical health. Furthermore, the results of the study highlight the importance of training for parents on the healthy use of gadgets, so that they can be good role models. Through true stories, this research provides insight into how parenting styles not only affect children's behavior with gadgets, but also help build the foundation for their social and emotional development in this digital age. Thus, the narrative approach provides an in-depth perspective on the complexity of the relationship between parenting and gadget use, which has implications for policy recommendations and practices in the field of early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mental health on the development of student intelligence at Riyadhul Jannah Cimenteng High School. Mental health is a psychological condition that plays an important role in the learning process and the development of student potential. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of 10 students, counseling teachers, and school academic data. The results showed that students with good mental health have more ability to manage emotions, establish positive social relationships, and show stable academic performance. In contrast, students who experience psychological disorders such as anxiety and social pressure tend to experience learning difficulties and decreased motivation. The discussion is linked to Maslow's theory, Gardner's multiple intelligences, as well as an Islamic perspective that emphasizes the importance of peace of mind as the basis of intelligence. Thus, mental health is proven to play a significant role in shaping students' overall intelligence, both emotional, interpersonal and academic. This study recommends the need for interventions based on counseling, spirituality, and character education in schools.

Abstract

Bunuh diri di kalangan mahasiswa merupakan isu serius yang bersifat kompleks dan multidimensional, dengan faktor internal seperti kesehatan mental serta faktor eksternal seperti tekanan akademik dan minimnya layanan psikologis kampus sebagai kontributor utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi terhadap kesehatan mental dan efektivitas fungsi Bimbingan dan Konseling terhadap sikap mahasiswa dalam merespons kasus bunuh diri di perguruan tinggi. Pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatif digunakan dengan melibatkan 128 responden mahasiswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.2.9. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa seluruh instrumen penelitian memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas. Model struktural menunjukkan nilai R² sebesar 0,842 dan Q² sebesar 0,501, menandakan daya prediksi model yang sangat baik. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa baik persepsi terhadap kesehatan mental (β = 0,567; p < 0,001) maupun fungsi Bimbingan dan Konseling (β = 0,515; p < 0,001) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap sikap mahasiswa. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran sistem pendukung psikologis kampus dan literasi kesehatan mental dalam upaya pencegahan bunuh diri. Disarankan agar pihak perguruan tinggi memperkuat fungsi Bimbingan dan Konseling dan mengintegrasikan program edukatif yang mendorong kesadaran kesehatan mental di kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Iqro’ method in introducing Qur’anic reading to students at SDN Banaran Pulung Ponorogo and to assess its effectiveness in improving reading skills. Using a library research approach, the study focused on early-grade elementary students participating in Qur’anic reading and writing extracurricular activities. The Iqro’ method was applied gradually, starting from the introduction of hijaiyah letters to reading verses with basic tajweed. Its strength lies in systematically structured materials that are well-suited for elementary-level learners. Challenges encountered include limited study time and varying student abilities. Overall, the Iqro’ method proved effective in building foundational Qur’anic reading skills, especially when supported by teachers and adequate learning resources. Comprising six volumes, the method is taught step by step according to students’ abilities, with lessons conducted three times a week under direct teacher guidance. Its systematic, simple, and practical nature makes it appropriate for elementary-level instruction, though obstacles such as time constraints and differences in student proficiency remain.

Abstract

The research and writing of this article aims to reveal the History of the Development of the Qodiriyah Naqsabandiyah Order in OKI Regency 2007-2023. This is important to do because it is to reveal the history and development of the Qodiriyah Naqsabandiyah Order and its role as an Islamic organization that plays an active role in moral and religious education in society. In this research, the researcher uses qualitative research while the research approach used by the author is historical. In data collection, the researcher conducted interviews and observations. This research shows that (1) the Qadiriyah Naqsabandiyah Order is one of the orders that is still experiencing growth to date, (2) in OKI Regency, almost 95% of the Qadiriyah Naqsabandiyah Order members are men, while the remaining only 5% are women. When viewed in terms of age, 70% of the order members are over 40 years old, while the other 30% are between 18 and 39 years old.

Abstract

Problem solving ability is an essential skill in mathematics learning as it trains students to think critically, logically, and systematically. However, observations at SDN Pasir Indah Ciater showed that most fourth-grade students still had difficulty understanding problems, planning strategies, and checking solutions. This study aims to describe teachers’ efforts to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving skills through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on number pattern material, as well as analyze supporting and inhibiting factors and its relevance to modern learning. This research used a qualitative descriptive method involving a teacher and sixteen fourth-grade students of SDN Pasir Indah Ciater. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of the PBL model improved students’ mathematical problem-solving skills. Students became more active, enthusiastic, and critical in finding solutions, while teachers acted as facilitators. Supporting factors included concrete media and student collaboration, while obstacles were limited time and varied initial abilities. Overall, PBL is relevant to 21st-century learning because it fosters critical, collaborative, and communicative skills.

Abstract

This study develops a conceptual model of Islamic education management theory from a philosophical perspective, emphasizing ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions rooted in revelation, reason, and Islamic values. Employing qualitative library research with descriptive-reflective analysis, primary sources (Quran, Sunnah) and secondary literature from Islamic philosophers (e.g., Al-Attas) are synthesized to explore philosophy's role in strengthening theoretical foundations. Findings highlight philosophy as essential for integrating monotheism (tauhid), justice, trustworthiness (amanah), and public welfare (maslahah) into holistic management paradigms. The proposed model distinguishes itself by embedding spiritual-moral dimensions in contemporary management theory, offering theoretical enrichment and practical guidance for Islamic educational leaders. Implications include a new referential framework for research and policy in sustainable Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy direction, implementation challenges, and implications of offering general (non-religious) study programs for the institutional identity of Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam, PTKI) in Indonesia. It employs a qualitative approach through document study and content analysis of official regulations, technical guidelines, and institutional documents related to fields of study, academic degrees, authorization to offer study programs, program naming, and institutional development. The findings show that the policy direction is shaped by a combination of regulations issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which governs religious mandates, fields of study, academic degrees, and procedures for granting licenses to offer study programs, and regulations issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, which govern the naming and official list of study programs within the national higher education system. As a result, general study programs at PTKI are nationally recognized but still situated within the framework of religious fields of study. At the implementation level, however, a number of challenges emerge, including potential interpretive tensions between the two regulatory regimes, limited institutional capacity and human resources, a gap between the vision of knowledge integration and classroom practices that remain dichotomous, the complexity of implementing the “Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka” policy, and cultural as well as identity politics dynamics. These factors make the implications of general study programs for PTKI’s identity ambivalent: they can strengthen PTKI’s identity as modern Islamic universities if designed within a robust framework of knowledge integration, religious moderation, and quality management, but they can also erode PTKI’s epistemological distinctiveness if developed merely as a pragmatic response to market demands and accreditation pressures without clear internal policy support and an explicit epistemological design.
