Abstract

This experimental research uses a quantitative approach, which aims to determine whether there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in improving the listening and speaking skills of class VIII students in Al-Faruqi Kampar Islamic Boarding School. The formulation of the problem in this study is "Is there a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in improving the listening and speaking skills of class VIII students in Al-Faruqi Kampar Islamic Boarding School?". The population in this study was all class VIII students at the Al-Faruqi Kampar Islamic Boarding School in the 2024/2025 academic year, while the sample in this study was 44 students in class VIII 1 and VIII 2. Data collection using observation and tests. Based on the results of data analysis on listening skills, the value of to = 5.69% is greater than tt at a significance level of 1% (2.02) and a significance level of 5% (2.72), and on speaking skills the value of to = 6.67% is greater than tt at a significance level of 1% (2.02) and a significance level of 5% (2.72). So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in improving the listening and speaking skills of Arabic students in grade VIII at the Al-Faruqi Kampar Islamic Boarding School, so that the community language learning method is declared effective in improving the listening and speaking skills of grade VIII students at the Islamic Boarding School Al-Faruqi Kampar.

Abstract

This attitude of reverence is motivated because a student is not enough to seek religious knowledge but must obey and respect his ustaz. This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning the Ta`limul Muta`allim book, analyze the form of the attitude of Reverence of students, analyze the Implementation of Learning the Ta`limul Muta`allim Book, analyze the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in forming the attitude of Reverence of students and analyze the success in forming the attitude of Reverence of students to ustaz. This study uses qualitative research methods. The methods used are qualitative and descriptive approaches. Researchers collect data through Observation, Interviews, Documentation, and Questionnaires. Data Analysis Techniques used by Researchers are Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusions. The results of this study indicate that in general, facilitating the process of forming a reverent attitude in the daily lives of students, the environment of the Islamic boarding school is one of the influences on the reverent attitude, as well as the participation of the ustadz in practicing the reverent attitude and the length of the students' habituation in practicing the reverent attitude of students which are supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of the reverent attitude of students and the success of the reverent attitude of students is influenced by 2 factors, namely external and internal.

Abstract

Penelitian yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh discovery learning berbantuan powerpoint terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik kelas IV di SDN Sukamurni IV Cilawu. Dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan mengambil sampel satu kelas, yaitu kelas IV, yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling Non-Probability Purposive. Pembeda penelitan sebelumnya adalah pada penelitian ini menggabungkan model discovery learning dengan media powerpoint. Kegiatan penelitian dilakukan selama tujuh pertemuan. Data hasil tes digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis melalui uji korelasi dan regresi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai r tabel sebesar 0,4256 atau memiliki hubungan sebesar 18,12%, yang mengindikasikan adanya kaitan antara penggunaan model discovery learning berbantuan powerpoint dan peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik. Uji regresi menunjukkan nilai f signifikan lebih kecil dari 5% (0,0482 < 0,05), sehingga kriteria yang diterima adalah Ha. yakni adanya pengaruh positif penggunaan model discovery learning berbantuan powerpoint terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik kelas IV Sukamurni IV Cilawu, dengan persamaan regresi yang diperoleh yaitu Y = 12,30+ 0,159X.

Abstract

The role of Islamic Religious Education is very important in shaping the religious character of students in the school environment. This study aims to determine the extent of the role of Islamic Religious Education in shaping the religious character of students at SMP Al-Husna Cisalak. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the role of Islamic Religious Education at SMP Al-Husna is very influential in shaping the character of students. This can be seen from changes in the attitudes of students who are able to solve their own problems, respect their peers, are active in the learning process, and are consistent and confident in expressing opinions. Thus, Islamic Religious Education contributes significantly to shaping religious character which is reflected in the attitudes and behavior of students in everyday life.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of the SnackVideo application as a pedagogical instrument for Indonesian language education among high school students. The research used a descriptive qualitative technique, including observation, interviews, and recording processes. The data indicate that SnackVideo might serve as an engaging, dynamic, and accessible instructional platform for students. By using its short video capabilities, instructors and students may create and share original instructional materials, such as material explanations, poetry, brief tales, and succinct dramas. SnackVideo enhances students' academic motivation by presenting knowledge in a visually captivating and entertaining format. However, the application must be used under supervision to prevent misuse and ensure its conformity with educational objectives.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of optimal spiritual intelligence in students of the Riyadhul Jannah Modern Islamic Boarding School, although there are various activities that have the potential to support the development of spiritual aspects, one of which is the Ratib al-Haddad dhikr activity. This study aims to analyze the influence of Ratib Al-Haddad dhikr activities on the spiritual intelligence of students at the Riyadhul Jannah Modern Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method. The research subjects used were some of the female students of the Riyadhul Jannah Modern Islamic Boarding School, totaling 41 students. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and observations. While the data analysis techniques processed and analyzed using IBM Statistic SPSS 26. The results of the study showed which means that there is an influence of the Ratib Al-Haddad dhikr activity on the spiritual intelligence of students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of cue card media in improving learning outcomes on procedural text material in Grade VII at SMPN 2 Indramayu. Using a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design, the study involved 25 students. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed an increase in learning mastery from 60% to 92% after the use of cue cards. This media effectively enhanced students' understanding of text structure, encouraged active participation, and created an engaging learning atmosphere. Cue cards can be considered an effective alternative media for teaching Indonesian, particularly procedural texts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of Culturally Responsive Teaching in Indonesian Language learning for grade VIII Poetry Text Material. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out using instruments in the form of interviews, observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of Culturally Responsive Learning in poetry learning in grade VIII has a positive impact on student involvement and understanding, this can be seen from the responses of students, 93.5% of students agree that the application of culturally responsive learning in poetry material makes students more active in learning because it is associated with the culture of students.

Abstract

The concept of Islamic Religious Education in a simple sense Education is often interpreted as a human effort to foster his personality in accordance with the values of society and culture. This study aims to analyse the effect of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Budi Pekerti learning on student character building at Riyadhul Jannah Modern Junior High School. Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti are considered crucial in shaping the character of students who are morally upright and responsible. This study uses a quantitative approach with statistical analysis to test the influence of the two variables on student character building. The frequency of implementation of Islamic Religious Education subjects at Riyadhul Jannah Modern Junior High School shows a combination of formal curriculum and typical pesantren religion. Meanwhile, the frequency of the implementation of ethics at Riyadhul Jannah Modern Junior High School is in accordance with the middle theory because the phenomenon discussed focuses on the specific relationship and practice of implementing ethical values at school with its impact on the formation of student character. The results show that although PAI learning has an important role, its influence on student character building is not significant (T count = 0.716 < T table = 1.684). In contrast, Budi Pekerti was shown to have a significant influence (T count = 3.865 > T table = 1.684) on students' character building. Simultaneously, both PAI and Budi Pekerti provided a significant effect (T count = 3.865 > T table = 1.684) on students' character building.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mastery of learning material among students, which is caused by the lack of varied, creative, and engaging learning strategies. As a result, students are less interested and face difficulties in understanding classroom material. The study aims to analyze the influence of the Make a Match type cooperative learning model on students’ mastery of material in Islamic Religious Education and Character subjects in grade V at Bukanagara 1 State Elementary School. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design method, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample involved fifth-grade students. The results showed that the average pretest score was 2.63 (medium category), while the posttest score increased to 4.19 (very high category). The pretest and posttest data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.796 and 0.181 respectively (˃ α = 0.05). The homogeneity test showed a significance value of 0.070, indicating equal variance. Simple regression analysis results showed a significance value of 0.758 (˃ α = 0.05), meaning there is a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Make a Match cooperative learning model positively influences students’ mastery of learning material.
