Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of children's fine motor skills. The implementation of the study was motivated by the problem of fine motor development of group A children at Insan Madani Plus Kindergarten, Malang City, which is still not optimal. This study used a Quassy experimental research design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research was conducted at Insan Madani Plus Kindergarten Malang City in March 2023. The sample in this study were all children in group A of TK Plus Insan Madani Malang City, totaling 7 children. Data collection techniques using observation, for data analysis using the Wilcoxon Test.Based on the results of the study, using Pre-Test (before treatment) and Post-Test (after treatment) and data analysis conducted using the Wilcoxon test obtained a Z value of -2.379 and Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.017, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between posttest and pretest. The assumption in the Wilcoxon test is that if the Asymp.Sig value is <0.05, then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, whereas if the Asymp.Sig value is >0.05, then Ha is rejected. In this case, since the Asymp.Sig value (0.017) < 0.05, Ha is accepted which indicates that there is a significant difference between the posttest and pretest. Therefore, it can be concluded that paper quilling activities have a significant effect on the fine motor development of children aged 4-5 years in group A of TK Plus Insan Madani Malang City.

Abstract

The teaching process requires strategies so that learning activities become easier, more comfortable and get the intended results. The purpose of this study is to find out more about the stages of the strategies used by teachers in teaching children aged 4-5 years in the Jami' Grand Mosque Kindergarten in Malang and also the results of the strategies used. This research uses a qualitative approach and type of case study research because this research will further analyze how the strategies used by teachers in teaching beginning reading to children aged 4-5 years, namely group A in three classes. the instrument of this research is the researcher himself, with data collection techniques using interviews, observation notes, and documentation. The data analysis process refers to Miles and Huberman, namely by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the strategies used by teachers in teaching beginning reading to 4-5 year old children included direct learning strategies, individualized learning strategies, and group learning strategies. While the results of the strategies that have been applied make most of the group A children aged 4-5 years have the ability to read beginning. This can be seen from the characteristics that appear according to the standards of child development achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of individual learning forms for temporary ABK at RA Syihabuddin Dau Malang. The background to this research concerns the issue of special education for children with special needs at RA Syihabuddin using individual learning created independently by the school. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study type of research because there is only one subject to be studied. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. while the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing uses the triangulation method of interviews, observation and documentation to obtain accurate comparisons.Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, it was concluded that the stages of planning Individual Learning Forms for ABK carried out by RA Syihabuddin only went through two stages, namely recommendation and placement. After planning, the conclusion in implementing the Individual Learning Form for ABK is carried out in accordance with the Individual Learning Form procedure for ABK where learning activities are carried out individually by the shadow teacher but also by paying attention to collaboration with the teacher. Furthermore, learning evaluation is carried out by continuing the activity when the next activity has been achieved and repeating the previous activity if it has not been achieved in accordance with the implementation of the individual specific learning evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in interest in washing hands using patterned paths in children aged 3-4 years. By taking research subjects, namely 7 children with an age classification of 3-4 years at PAUD Griya Ananda Karangploso. This research uses a quantitative method with an exploratory descriptive approach, because the results of this research will be analyzed descriptively and by displaying calculated tables or graphs. The data collection technique used is in the form of a checklist sheet and documentation, as well as the data analysis technique used is using a proportional formula to convert the increase in children's interest.Based on the results of research carried out by researchers, it was concluded that the interest in washing hands of children in this study was in the low category, most children aged 3-4 years received low scores. Hand washing activities in playgroup classes were carried out every day with the help of class A or class B, which causes no own initiative to wash your hands when the time comes. This makes researchers use play media as a tool to increase interest in hand washing in playgroup classes. However, after being given play media, namely patterned paths, there was an increase in interest in washing hands using patterned paths for each child which can be seen in the research results. The research results showed that most children experienced an increase from the BB (Not Developing) category on the first day and then experienced an increase to the BSB (very well developed) category. It can be concluded that the use of play media, namely patterned paths, can make it easier for children to get to the hand washing place, is an effective method, is a safe media to use, and is easy for children to use to increase interest in washing hands in children aged 3-4 years.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual yang marak terjadi menjadikan pendidikan seks penting diberikan kepada anak terutama di lingkungan sekolah. Hal ini diberikan sebagai bekal anak dalam mengenal siapa dirinya hingga menjaga dan melindungi dirinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan metode pengajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam memberikan pendidikan seks pada anak usia 4-6 tahun, (2) mendeskripsikan dampak metode yang diterapkan oleh guru terhadap pemahaman pendidikan seks pada anak usia 4-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengambilan data menggunakan teknik instrumen wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) guru telah menerapkan pendidikan seks mulai dari pengenalan diri hingga cara melindungi dengan media yang tersedia dan metode menyanyi, (2) anak-anak mengetahui siapa dirinya sebagai laki-laki atau perempuan, tetapi belum mengetahui nama alat vitalnya dengan nama sesungguhnya, anak-anak mengetahui cara menjaga dan melindungi dirinya serta batasan antara laki-laki dan perempuan.

Abstract

Interpersonal intelligence has an important role in children's social development. Children who have good interpersonal intelligence will easily adapt to new environments. This research aims to determine the increase in interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5-6 years through role playing activities. This research uses a quantitative approach of the Quasi Experiment type with an equivalent time series design. The sample in this study was the B2 group of Almaarif Singosari Islamic Kindergarten, totaling 16 children. The data collection technique used is observation and documentation, while the data analysis technique uses the Friedman Test. Based on the research results, data analysis carried out using the Friedman test showed that the p value was <.001, which means there was a significant difference in each posttest carried out. The results of the Friedman test calculation show that the p value (<.001) <0.05 means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that role playing activities can improve interpersonal intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at Al Maarif Singosari Islamic Kindergarten.

Abstract

Quality time is time spent together with full focus on children, creating emotional bonds, and strengthening family relationships. This involves activities that not only fill time, but also add value to the child's development and create positive memories. This research aims to describe the quality time of parents with children aged 4-6 years in Malang City. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey research type with a sample of 253 parents in Malang City who have children aged 4-6 years. Data collection uses questionnaire techniques. Data analysis uses descriptive data analysis. The results of this study show that the majority of parents spend quality time with their children well. With an average percentage of 86% which is included in the "high" category. This shows that the majority of parents in the Malang City area understand the importance of quality time and implement it effectively in daily interactions with their children. Parents in Malang City generally have a good understanding of the concept of quality time, which includes time spent with children attentively and without distractions. Based on the problem formulation, it shows that parents in Malang City spend quality time well. This research also shows that parents' quality time with early childhood children can have a positive impact on aspects of child development. Overall, parents in Malang City do more quality time activities by participating in events at their children's schools. The reason parents carry out these activities may be that many parents have busy work schedules and they realize that school events are the right time to spend time with their children without disturbing their daily routine.

Abstract

The tilawati method studied by the author is said to be rhythmic, because the tilawati method at TPQ Nurus Salam uses 4 songs that are appropriate for its class. This research method uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research type. The research design uses one group pre-test post-test. The population in this study were all volume 4 aged 5-6 years at TPQ Nurus Salam Serah Gresik. The data collection techniques used were observation and student learning outcome tests. Data collected through tests and described using the Paired Sample T-test hypothesis test. The results of the study showed that (1) The implementation of the rhythmic tilawati method volume 4 at TPQ Nurus Salam was always carried out by teachers which included a classical approach using teaching aids, teachers exemplified rhythmic reading on the teaching aids, carried out an individual approach with the reading and listening technique, and carried out daily evaluations. This is proven by an average score of 3.66. (2) Measuring the effectiveness of learning the Qur'an using the rhythmic tilawati method at TPQ Nurus Salam using Pre-Test Post-Test, in this measurement it shows that, after implementing the rhythmic tilawati method at TPQ Nurus Salam it has an influence on the development of reading the Qur'an of children aged 5-6 years. It can be seen from the increase in the average value from the pre-test 70.0 to the post-test 87.5.

Abstract

The wafa method is a comprehensive and comprehensive approach to learning the Qur'an that utilizes the right and left hemispheres of the brain. The Wafa method is referred to as the right brain approach, which utilizes the senses of touch, sight, and hearing, to facilitate learning.The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Al-Qur'an learning, the achievement of the development of Al-Qur'an learning outcomes, and the superiority of Al-Qur'an learning through the Wafa method using picture card media and props on reading skills at Putera Zaman Integrated Kindergarten.The results showed that, (1) The implementation of Al-Qur'an learning through the Wafa method is very conducive and vibrant, because the ustadzah is good at teaching by using gestures to provoke enthusiasm and minimize student boredom. (2) The achievement of the development of Al-Qur'an learning outcomes through the Wafa method, including starting to develop, is characterized by indicators, students concentrate when learning the Al-Qur'an, students are serious when learning the Al-Qur'an and students follow Al-Qur'an learning activities from beginning to end. (3) The advantages of learning the Qur'an through the wafa method can make students enthusiastic about Qur'anic education.

Abstract

This research focuses on efforts to improve children's ability to recognize hijaiyyah letters through the use of spinning wheel media at Kindergarten ABA 14 Sidokumpul. With a sample size of 30 children who showed difficulty in recognizing these letters, researchers used a pre-experimental design (one group pre-post test design) to evaluate the effectiveness of the media used.The results of the research showed that the use of spinning wheel media succeeded in increasing children's ability to recognize hijaiyyah letters. The observations and treatment carried out showed significant improvement, with the average pretest score increasing from 16.4 to 20.7 after the intervention. Data analysis also shows high significance (0.000 < 0.05), which supports the hypothesis that the spinning wheel media has a positive effect on learning hijaiyyah letters.Researchers hope that the results of this research can become a reference for further research, especially in examining the long-term impact of introducing hijaiyyah letters on children's reading and writing abilities in the future.
