Abstract

This research aims to explore and describe the strategies employed by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in adapting to the challenges posed by the Industrial Revolution 4.0, particularly focusing on their impact on the teaching and learning process at SMAN 1 Kertosono, Nganjuk Regency. The advent of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has introduced significant changes to the educational landscape, especially in the dynamic between teachers and students. With the easy accessibility of digital technology and information, the traditional role of teachers as the primary source of knowledge has been diminished. This shift presents several challenges, including digital addiction, cyberbullying, and a decline in students’ moral values, which have been evident at SMAN 1 Kertosono. To address these issues, the study utilizes a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the strategies employed by PAI teachers to enhance the learning experience in this digitally-driven environment. The findings highlight that PAI teachers have adopted various innovative strategies to engage students effectively, such as integrating digital tools with moral education to foster both academic and ethical development. These strategies aim to create a positive learning environment that addresses the unique challenges posed by the digital era, ensuring that students not only excel academically but also maintain strong moral values. Overall, the study reveals how PAI teachers are successfully navigating the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, providing a model for adapting traditional education to the demands of modern technological advancements

Abstract

This study aims to explore the communication ethics between children and parents from the perspective of the Qur'an, focusing on the interpretations found in Tafsir al-Azhar and Tafsir al-Mişbāh. The primary objective is to analyze the comparative interpretations of Surah Al-Isra’ [17:23] regarding communication ethics. This research is a library study that applies a scientific paradigm, treating the Qur'an as a general conceptual framework. A comparative approach, known as the muqāran method in tafsir studies, was used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that, according to Tafsir al-Azhar, Surah Al-Isra’ [17:23] emphasizes the prohibition of disrespectful speech, particularly in the relationship between children and parents. This ethical communication is viewed as a reflection of the principles of tauhid (the oneness of God), encouraging children to replace harsh or negative words with expressions of love and compassion. On the other hand, Tafsir al-Mişbāh underscores the significance of showing the utmost respect to parents, advocating for the use of the most respectful and courteous communication in interactions with them. Both interpretations agree on the importance of maintaining respectful communication, but they differ in the emphasis placed on specific aspects of that communication—Tafsir al-Azhar focuses more on avoiding disrespect, while Tafsir al-Mişbāh highlights the need for the highest level of respect. This comparative analysis provides valuable insights into the Qur’anic guidance on communication ethics between children and parents

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of parents in enhancing religious behavior, with a specific focus on worship discipline at home, and to examine their contribution to improving children's religious behavior, particularly in fostering commendable character (akhlaq). The research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive case study methodology, which involves the detailed and in-depth collection of data concerning a particular individual or group. Data were gathered through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through the processes of data collection, reduction, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the role of parents in enhancing religious behavior, particularly in promoting worship discipline, has been effectively implemented. Parents serve as both educators and supervisors, guiding their children in fulfilling religious obligations. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of the family as a key environment for the development of religious behavior, with parents acting as role models in instilling religious values. The research emphasizes that the active involvement of parents in nurturing worship discipline and good character contributes significantly to shaping children's religious behavior, ensuring that these values are embedded both at home and in their daily lives. This study underscores the critical role of parents in the religious and moral development of their children, particularly in the formative years
