Abstract

ABSTRAK Nyeri punggung yang dirasakan pada saat hamil adalah suatu masalah yang sangat sering terjadi selama kehamilan dan sangat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup wanita. Perubahan fisik yang terjadi selama kehamilan merupakan faktor penting penyebab terjadinya kondisi ini. Penanganan nyeri punggung ini dapat ditangani dengan berbagai metode non-farmakologi salah satunya adalah dengan prenatal yoga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas prenatal yoga dalam mengatasi nyeri punggung pada ibu hamil trimester III. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Simalingkar Medan pada tahun 2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 responden dengan menggunakan total sampling. Uji statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji T-Test Dependent. Hasil uji statitsitik menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang bermakna antara intensitas nyeri punggung pada ibu hamil sebelum dan setelah melakukan prenatal yoga dengan beda tata-rata 1,9 dan nilai p-value <0,001. Berdasarkan data diatas disimpulkan bawah prenatal yoga efektif terhadap penurunan nyeri punggung pada ibu hamil trimester III. Kata Kunci : prenatal yoga, nyeri punggung, ibu hamil ABSTRACT Back pain that is felt during pregnancy is a problem that very often occurs during pregnancy and greatly affects the woman’s quality of life. The physical changes that occur during pregnancy are the important factor in causing this condition. Handling back pain can be treated with many various non-farmacology methods, one of them is prenatal yoga. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of prenatal yoga to overcome back pain in third trimester of pregnant women. This research was conducted in the work area of Simalingkar Public Health Center, Medan city in 2022. This research is a quantitative study with a one group pre-test post-test design. The sample in this study was 30 respondents and used a total sampling technique. The statistical test used in this study was the dependent sampel t-test. The results of the statistical test showed that there was a significant difference between the intensity of back pain of pregnant women before and after doing prenatal yoga with average difference of 1,9 and p-value <0,001. Based on the data, it can be concluded that prenatal yoga is effective in reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women. Keyword : prenatal yoga, back pain, pregnant women

Abstract

Background: Diarrhea is a symptom resulting from impaired function of digestion, absorption, and secretion. Diarrhea is caused by abnormal bowel and electrolyte transport. Worldwide, there are approximately 1.7 billion incidents of diarrhea each year. Approximately 24% of all deaths in children living in developing countries are related to diarrhea and dehydration. The incidence and morbidity of diarrhea is more prominent in low-income countries such as Asian and African regions and among children younger than 5 years. Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of health education using educative charts on mothers' knowledge about treatment plans for toddlers with diarrhea with dehydration at the toddler lotus posyandu. Methods: This type of research is a quantitative study with a Quasy Experiment with a Non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. Sampling technique with Purposive Sampling. The research subjects were mothers who had children under five at the toddler lotus posyandu. Results: The results showed a p value of 0.000 (p value <0.05), which means that there is an effect of using Instagram as an educational medium on the attitudes of pregnant women about monitoring danger signs of pregnancy in the new normal era. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of educational charts on mother's knowledge about treatment plans in toddlers with diarrhea with dehydration obtained from the post-test results between the experimental group and the control group with a significance value from the Mann-Whitney U Test, namely p = 0.00 or <0.05.

Abstract

Background: Anemia is caused by a lack of red blood cells to deliver oxygen to tissues and the fetus. Anemia can be detected if the Hb level is <11 mg. This study aims to determine the influence of socio-economic factors, nutritional intake and ANC visits on the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Subject and method: The type of research is observational analytic with a case-control design. This research was conducted at the Wedi Community Health Center, Klaten Regency from January to February 2023. A sample of 100 pregnant women was selected using simple random sampling. The dependent variable is maternal anemia, the independent variables are maternal age, maternal parity, maternal education, family income, number of family members, food consumption patterns and ANC visits. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and were analyzed using logistic regression. Results: Pregnant women aged < 20 years increase the risk of anemia in pregnant women (b: 1.52; p= 0.178), parity of multigravida mothers increases the risk of anemia in pregnant women (b: 3.38; p= 0.011), maternal education <high ​​school increases the risk of maternal anemia pregnant (b: 2.15; p= 0.056), low family income < average increases the risk of anemia in pregnant women (b: 2.44; p= 0.035), number of family members > 4 increases the risk of anemia in pregnant women (b: 1.70; p= 0.121), non-diverse food consumption patterns increase the risk of anemia in pregnant women (b: 4.83; p=0.002), the number of ANC visits < 4 times increases the risk of anemia in pregnant women (b: 2.83; p=0.010).

Abstract

Mother's milk (ASI) is a safe and perfect source of nutrition and food for babies aged 0-6 months. It is hoped that adequate breastfeeding will have an impact on reducing infant morbidity and mortality rates. Based on a preliminary study of problems during breastfeeding such as swollen breasts, sore breasts and the use of formula milk which was carried out in October 2022 at PMB Subiati Srage, there were 22 postpartum mothers and 4 postpartum mothers. willing to be interviewed, the results were obtained, namely how to increase and facilitate breast milk, namely by consuming katuk leaf vegetables, spinach leaves, and drinking uyup-uyup herbal medicine. The aim of this research is to explore in depth the use of complementary therapies to smooth breast milk production for postpartum mothers at PMB Subiati Sragen. This type of research uses qualitative research with a phenomenological design. Data collection techniques were carried out using in-depth interviews. The results of this research are the use of vegetables, animal protein, herbs/herbal medicine in the process of facilitating breast milk production. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Progestin Injection Contraception on changes in the amount of fat and muscle in female patients at Slamet Riyadi Hospital, Surakarta. The research method used a quantitative research design with a Quasi-Experimental approach and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was women who used progestin injection contraception as a method of contraception in the last three months, totaling 20 acceptors. Meanwhile, the sample of this study was 14 people. This research was conducted at Slamet Riyadi Hospital, Surakarta, over three months. Data analysis consisted of two stages: univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of Progestin Injection Contraception administration on changes in fat and muscle levels before and after, with P values of 0.006 and 0.027, respectively. Therefore, these findings underscore the importance of monitoring body composition for Progestin Injection Contraception users and the need for further studies to understand the long-term impact of this type of contraception. muscle

Abstract

Amenorrhea is a condition where a person does not experience menstruation for 3 to 6 months in a row. This research aims to analyze the relationship between length of use of injectable contraceptives Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetat (DMPA) with the occurrence of amenorrhea in family planning acceptors at the Pratama Delima Rahayu Clinic, Sragen Indonesia. This type of analytical survey research uses a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique for this research is to use a total sampling technique, namely the entire population. The results of the research show that the length of use of the Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate (DMPA) contraceptive injection has a significant relationship with the occurrence of amenorrhea in contraceptive acceptors at the Pratama Delima Rahayu Sragen Clinic with a probability value of 0.001 < 0.05. The conclusion from this research is that the longer you use DMPA injection contraceptives, the longer you will experience menstrual disorders, one of which is amenorrhea.

Abstract

Background : Adolescent girls have a high risk of experiencing anemia, this is caused by loss of iron during menstruation. Adolescent girls have a higher risk of developing anemia than adolescent boys because adolescent girls experience menstruation every month and there is a desire to eat less so that the body lacks important nutrients such as iron. Pharmacological therapy for anemia by administering Fe supplements. However, administering drugs and supplements causes side effects so that people look for alternative treatments other than pharmacological therapy. One alternative to overcome anemia is by consuming dragon fruit. Objective : To analyze in a literature review the effect of dragon fruit on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. Method : This research uses a systematic literature review method. Journal search via PUBMED, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar and Science Direct databases. The journal used was 10 articles. Results : Based on a review of 10 articles, it can be concluded that dragon fruit has been proven to have an effect on increasing hemoglobin levels in young women.

Abstract

Background: Pregnancy in teenagers beginning from pregnancy no desired, is one phenomenon recent social. This the more increase occurs in the environment public give rise to its height possible abortion triggering an increase in the MMR Evidence search strategy: this research is a literature review research using the ScienceDirect, PUBMED, BMC, and Google Scholar databases with keywords _ "unwanted pregnancy", "unintended pregnancies in teenagers", and "analysis of unwanted pregnancy". Discussion : Total articles obtained of 20,437 articles, 13 articles were found that met the requirements criteria inclusion with year publications 2020 to 2023, in the form of original articles, articles available in full text form and free access. Causative factor happen non pregnancy desired by teenagers that is exists internal factors and factors external. Impact non pregnancy desired by teenagers that is impact physical, impact economics, and impact environment. Prevention non pregnancy desired by teenagers that is empowerment teenager women, repair gender inequality, respect right basic humans, and reduce poverty. Conclusion: Unwanted pregnancy has a higher risk of occurring in adolescents with the determinants of the role of parents, the role of friends, level of religiosity, access to pornographic media, knowledge, attitudes and sexual behavior.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is an individual response to a disruptive state of the endocrine system that can cause pain during menstruation. The cause of the pain is the imbalance of progesterone hormones in the blood. The more severe the pain can disrupt the psychological condition of the individual, where pain stimulates the brain, leading to changes in life, social relationships, feelings of anger, fear, and depression. This study aims to determine the effect of giving warm compresses on the level of menstrual pain in adolescent girls. The research is a Pre-Experimental Design conducted from August 2023 to March 2024. The research population is 222 teenage girls from Islamic Boarding School Hidayatus Sholikin Pembuang Hulu Central Kalimantan, and the sample obtained from a calculation of 68 teenage girls. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, with the Standard Operating Procedure for the independent variable on the application of warm compresses and the dependent variable with the observation of menstrual pain in teenage girls. Data is analyzed using the Wilcoxon Rank Test on SPSS. The results of the research show that the characteristics of the respondents, with the majority of 43 respondents (63.3%) being 12 years old, 44 respondents (64.7%) having regular menstrual cycles, 31 respondents (45.6%) having a menstrual cycle of 28 days, 36 respondents (52.9%) experiencing menstrual pain (Dysmenorrhea) on the first day, 38 respondents (55.9%) having a high level of menstrual pain in teenage girls before being given warm compresses, and most of 35 respondents (51.5%) having a low level of menstrual pain in teenage girls after being given warm compresses. There is an impact of applying warm compresses on the level of menstrual pain in teenage girls (p value=0.000). The conclusion of this research is that there is an impact of applying warm compresses on the level of menstrual pain in teenage girls.

Abstract

There are many cases where mothers cannot breastfeed well and need help to make the breastfeeding process successful. Fundamental data from health research (RISKESDAS 2021), there are 52.5% or only half of the 2.3 milion infants under the age og six months are reportedly exclusively breastfed in Indonesia, this means a decrease of around 12% from 2019. Providing health education regarding techniques Proper breastfeeding is expected to increase breast milk coverage rates in Indonesia. The goal of this study was to ascertain how health education affected pospartum moms’ knowledge and proficiency with proper breasfeeding procedures at PMB Murniyati. This particular type of research uses preexperimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design model. Gathering of data technique used total sampling, the sample was 30 people. The instruments used were a knowledge questionnaire sheet and a breastfeeding technique skills observation sheet. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The outcomes of this research are the impact of health education on understanding and skills of postpartum mothers regarding correct breastfeeding techniques at PMB Murniyati with a difference in pretest and posttest p-values ​​of 0.000 <0.05. The finding that health education has an impact on the abilities and understanding of postpartum mothers regarding correct breastfeeding techniques at PMB Murniyati.
