Abstract

This article aims to describe the history, process and form of the Buang Jong traditional ceremony tradition from the perspective of religious moderation. This research was conducted using qualitative method with descriptive analysis. Buang Jong is a traditional ceremony carried out for generations by the Sawang tribe on Belitung Island to make offerings to the sea god. This is done so that they can get abundant sea products and hope to avoid all kinds of disasters and poverty. The results and discussion of this article are about the application of the value of religious moderation in the Buang Jong tradition. Based on the analysis, the researchers concluded that there needs to be a balanced combination of religious moderation and maintaining the existence of traditional customs passed down from generation to generation. Apart from that, important efforts are also needed to implement religious moderation in carrying out and maintaining existing traditional traditions and not being easily influenced by radical ideas that can cause divisions in society. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan sejarah, proses, dan bentuk tradisi upacara adat Buang Jong dalam perspektif moderasi beragama. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis yang bersifat deskriptif. Buang Jong merupakan upacara adat yang dilakukan secara turun-temurun oleh suku Sawang di Pulau Belitung untuk menyampaikan persembahan kepada dewa laut. Hal ini dilakukan agar mereka mendapatkan hasil laut yang melimpah dan memohon agar terhindar dari segala macam malapetaka dan kemelaratan. Hasil dan pembahasan tulisan ini adalah tentang penerapan nilai moderasi beragama pada tradisi Buang Jong. Berdasarkan penganalisis, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa perlu adanya perpaduan yang seimbang antara moderasi beragama dan mempertahankan eksistensi adat tradisi turun-temurun. Selain itu, perlu juga adanya upaya penting dalam menerapkan moderasi beragama dalam menjalankan dan mempertahankan tradisi adat yang sudah ada dan tidak mudah terpengaruh dengan paham-paham radikal yang dapat menyebabkan perpecahan di masyarakat.

Abstract

Mentigi village is in Membalong District, Belitung Regency. This village has a problem that is currently widespread in Indonesia, namely stunting. Based on this problem, the IAIN SAS Babel KKN team, assisted by the Membalong District Health Center team, held a socialization regarding the prevention of stunting. by implementing a new breakthrough in processed catfish which is processed into nuggets, where catfish has quite high animal protein, compared to beef, so it can prevent stunting., apart from containing quite high levels of animal protein, catfish also has a cheap price and is easy to cultivate by the people of Menting Village. This socialization also aims to provide in-depth knowledge about stunting. and provide new skills to PKK cadres and Mentigi Village residents in managing catfish into nuggets as a variety of high protein and nutritious food menus to prevent stunting. The method used in socializing this new breakthrough for catfish nuggets as a nutritional intake option is providing didactic examples regarding the causes of stunting and the consequences of stunting and providing examples of how to make catfish nuggets. This action resulted in increasing the understanding of PKK cadres and Mentigi village residents regarding stunting and processing catfish nuggets as a variation of the protein and nutritious food menu in the context of reducing the stunting rate in Mentigi village. Desa Mentigi berada di Kecamatan Membalong, Kabupaten Belitung. Desa ini memiliki problematika yang saat ini sedang marak di Indonesia, yaitu stunting. Dari permasalahan ini, tim KKN IAIN SAS Babel dibantu oleh tim Puskesmas Kecamatan Membalong mengadakan sosialisasi mengenai pencegahan stunting dengan menerapkan terobosan baru dari olahan ikan lele yang diolah menjadi nugget, ikan lele menjadi pilihan karena memiliki protein hewani cukup tinggi dibandingkan daging sapi sehingga bisa mencegah stunting. Selain mengandung protein hewani yang cukup tinggi, ikan lele juga memiliki harga yang murah dan mudah dibudidayakan oleh masyarakat desa Mentigi. Sosialisasi ini juga memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan yang mendalam mengenai stunting dan memberikan keterampilan baru kepada kader PKK dan warga desa Mentigi dalam mengelola ikan lele menjadi nugget sebagai variasi menu makanan berprotein tinggi serta bergizi pencegah stunting. Metode yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi terobosan baru nugget lele menjadi pilihan asupan gizi ini yaitu pemberian contoh didaktik mengenai penyebab stunting dan akibat dari stunting dan pemberian contoh cara pembuatan nugget lele. Pembuatan ini menghasilkan penambahan pemahaman kader PKK dan warga desa Mentigi terhadap stunting dan olahan nugget lele sebagai variasi menu makanan berprotein dan bergizi dalam rangka penurunan angka stunting di desa Mentigi.

Abstract

The form of community service carried out by students is real work lectures (KKN). In an effort to make the nation's life more intelligent, one of the activities that KKN students need to carry out is activities in the religious field. For this reason, outreach activities are carried out with the aim of ensuring that KKN students are able to develop community service activity programs on religious aspects. The outreach activity carried out by field supervisor and IAIN lecturer Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung to KKN students in Aik Pelempang Jaya Village was entitled "The Role of Real Work Study Students in the Religious Field as a Form of Service in Aik Pelempang Jaya Village". This activity was carried out well and resulted in several KKN student activity programs in the religious sector, namely carrying out the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, taking part in recitations, learning tahlil, learning the practice of funeral prayers, congregational prayers at the mosque and helping teachers teach at PAUD. This activity teaches elementary school students which also involves parents, teachers, village government and the Aik Pelempang Jaya village community.. Bentuk dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa adalah kuliah kerja nyata (KKN). Dalam usaha untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa maka salah satu kegiatan yang perlu dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KKN adalah kegiatan dalam bidang keagamaan. Untuk itu dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan dengan tujuan agar mahasiswa KKN mampu menyusun program-program kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada aspek keagamaan. Kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan oleh supervisor lapangan dan dosen IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung kepada Masasiswa KKN di Desa Aik Pelempang Jaya judul “Peran Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata Dalam Bidang Keagamaan Sebagai Wujud Pengabdian di Desa Aik Pelempang Jaya”. Kegiatan ini dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan menghasilkan beberapa program kegiatan mahasiswa KKN dalam bidang Keagamaan yaitu melaksanakan acara maulid nabi muhammad SAW, ikut pengajian, belajar tahlil, belajar praktek sholat jenazah, sholat berjamaah di masjid serta membantu guru mengajar di PAUD. Kegiatan ini menyasar murid Sekolah Dasar yang juga melibatkan orang tua, guru, pemerintah desa, dan masyarakat desa Aik Pelempang Jaya.

Abstract

Empowering the Ujung Gersik Hamlet Youth Organization is a challenge for students. The head of Ujung Gersik Hamlet asked KKN students to activate the youth organization and solve the problems that occur among the youth there. The younger generation is involved in the world of juvenile delinquency such as drinking alcohol. This condition is a challenge in itself for students who carry out real work courses (KKN), so implementing the empowerment of the younger generation requires extra effort and approach. The method of service through this KKN program is to invite the youth of Ujung Gersik Hamlet to join the youth organization and invite them to be actively involved in positive activities that have been prepared in the KKN work program with village officials and youth organization administrators. Pemberdayaan karang taruna Dusun Ujung Gersik merupakan tantangan bagi mahasiswa. Kepala Dusun Ujung Gersik meminta mahasiswa KKN untuk mengaktifkan organisasi karang taruna dan menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi pada pemuda di sana. Para generasi muda terlibat dalam dunia kenakalan remaja seperti meminum minuman keras. Kondisi ini menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi mahasiswa yang melaksanakan kuliah kerja nyata (KKN), sehingga pelaksanaan pemberdayaan generasi muda membutuhkan usaha dan pendekatan yang ekstra. Metode pengabdian melalui program KKN ini adalah mengajak para pemuda Dusun Ujung Gersik untuk bergabung ke dalam organisasi karang taruna dan mengajak mereka untuk terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan-kegiatan positif yang telah disusun dalam program kerja KKN bersama para perangkat desa dan pengurus karang taruna.

Abstract

Apart from educating and teaching, teachers have an obligation to write scientific papers. Assistance in writing articles for teachers is needed to change their mindset that writing is difficult. This activity focuses on basic concepts, techniques and strategies in writing articles as well as providing directions and information for teachers about journals as a publication medium. The method of accompaniment and participant participation is used with a classical-individual approach to achieve the objectives of the activity. Based on the stages carried out in this mentoring activity, several scientific articles were developed based on research results written by twelve teachers and six assistants who were formed in the writing activity group. In addition, in this mentoring, there are six scientific articles that are appropriate and have been published in edugama journals (educational and socio-religious journals) accredited by Sinta 5. Through this scientific article writing assistance activity as well, teachers gain knowledge, motivation and experience in writing articles, which they can then develop again after the completion of this mentoring activity. Selain mendidik dan mengajar, guru memiliki kewajiban untuk menulis karya ilmiah. Pendampingan penulisan artikel bagi guru sangat diperlukan untuk mengubah mindset mereka bahwa menulis itu sulit. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada konsep dasar, teknik dan strategi dalam penulisan artikel serta memberikan arahan dan informasi bagi guru tentang jurnal sebagai media publikasi. Digunakan metode tindakan pendampingan dan partisipasi peserta dengan pendekatan klasikal-individual untuk mencapai tujuan kegiatan. Berdasarkan tahapan yang dilaksanakan kegiatan pendampingan ini menghasilkan beberapa artikel ilmiah yang dikembangkan dari hasil penelitian yang ditulis oleh dua belas guru dan enam pendamping yang tebentuk dalam kelompok kegiatan penulisan. Selain itu, dalam pendampingan ini, ada enam artikel ilmiah yang layak dan telah dipublikasikan pada jurnal edugama (jurnal kependidikan dan sosial keagamaan) terakreditasi sinta 5. Melalui kegiatan pendampingan penulisan artikel ilmiah ini juga, para guru mendapatkan pengetahuan, motivasi dan pengalaman dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah yang selanjutnya dapat mereka kembangkan kembali setelah selesainya kegiatan pendampingan ini

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in children under five which children experiences impaired growth and development due to long-term chronic malnutrition, or insufficient psychosocial stimulation. Serdang Village was recorded as a stunting village for three consecutive years with a fairly high percentage of stunting. One of the causes of the high stunting rate in Indonesia is the public's understanding of stunting. Therefore, one of the efforts to prevent and decrease stunting in Serdang village is through socialization activities. This activity is carried out through providing information and encourages families and communities to support meeting needs, raising awareness, and building commitment to behavior change. This activity was carried out in coordination with Puskesmas Rias. Providing socialization about the problem and prevention of stunting to pregnant women and mothers with children under five is an important strategy that needs to be done to increase public knowledge about the impact and dangers of stunting in children. Discuss from the results of the pre-test and posttest after the socialization was given, the participants had gained sufficient understanding regarding the definition of stunting, its causes, impacts and efforts to prevent and treat stunting in children. Providing education that is carried out regularly for Serdang Village society can be one of the right solutions to improve public health and reduce the prevelence of stunting among children in Serdang Village.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in children caused by malnutrition in the long term. Toddlers suffering from stunting are often identified by their body shape which is much shorter or stunted when compared to the height of children of their age. Based on basic health research from the Ministry of Health in 2018, it shows that 1 in 3 children in Indonesia have stunting. This condition is certainly a big problem for all of us, not only duties for the government or medical personnel but also the wider community, especially housewives, to pay more attention to the nutritional intake of their children. Therefore, our goal in socializing the dangers of early marriage is as an effort to prevent stunting in the Air Seruk area. The implementation method for this activity is in the form of outreach regarding stopping early marriage targeting young people in the village, for example: Youth Posyandu, and also PIK-R with a total of 30 participants. The outreach activities received support from local midwives and also the Air Seruk health center. Conclusion: Early marriage has an impact on inadequate parenting patterns as a result of the mother's limited knowledge and the potential for nutritional struggles between the mother and fetus during pregnancy. Therefore, early marriage is considered to be one of the factors causing stunting.

Abstract

In line with the development of increasingly sophisticated times, reading has become an important thing, the activity of reading has many meanings in human life because by reading a person can understand and apply something. Reading is the process of absorbing knowledge through reading or writing. However, based on observations and discussions with the community, it was discovered that there were still limitations for female students in accessing varied and educational reading books at SDN 5 Kelapa, Kelapa sub-district, West Bangka district, Bangka Belitung archipelago. This has the potential to hinder their literacy development, which in turn can affect academic achievement and general cognitive development. Therefore, through the IAIN KKN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung student community service program in 2024, group 09 created a literacy corner as an effort to foster interest in reading among elementary school students. The literacy corner is one step in fostering interest in reading at elementary school level, which functions as a provider of reading materials, knowledge and information for students. By utilizing an attractively decorated corner of the room to serve as a book collection place. It is hoped that this literacy corner can stimulate students to be more interested in reading and doing other activities that can develop their potential and thinking power. The aim is to cultivate interests and habits of cultivating interests and reading habits, especially through books with a visual approach. Based on the results of the implementation of the literacy corner at SDN 5 Kelapa, it shows that the literacy corner program is effectively used in increasing students' interest in reading. The enthusiasm of the school and students in the process of creating a literacy corner has motivated the creation of a literacy corner in every classroom.

Abstract

This research explores the preservation of tradition through woven crafts in Nyuruk Village. Using an ethnographic approach, this study highlights how weaving skills are passed down from generation to generation, as well as their role in maintaining local cultural and economic identities. In addition, this research explores the social and economic dynamics behind the practice of weaving, including the role of women and the economic contribution of woven crafts to the local community. The results showed that woven crafts not only became a symbol of culture, but also served as an important source of income for villagers. Thus, efforts to preserve this tradition become important for the sustainability of local culture and economy.

Abstract

The school literacy movement is an effort or activity that is participatory in nature involving school residents (students, teachers, principals, education personnel, school supervisors, School Committees, parents/guardians of students), academics, publishers, mass media, the community (community leaders who can represent role models, the business world, etc.), and stakeholders under the coordination of the Directorate General of Primary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture. A reading corner is a reading corner in the classroom that is equipped with a collection of books that are arranged attractively to foster students' interest in reading. Based on the results of field observations conducted by KKN-MB IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung students in 2024, group 07 Jangkar Asam at SDN 15 Gantung Lack of knowledge in understanding Indonesian Sometimes reading feels easier if a student is free to understand Indonesian. The problem factor of the delay in reading of children at SDN 15 Gantung is supported by children who are still blind even with Indonesian itself, so this problem makes it more difficult for them to recognize sentences such as tables, chairs, mats, alang, mengayuh, and so on. So the reading corner is an innovation and solution offered to help students who are experiencing delays in reading. The school responded very well and fully supported and was willing to cooperate in the process of making a reading corner so that its creation could be completed properly.
