Abstract

This research aims to understand the role of the Aik Nyato Lestari Cooperative in enhancing the economic welfare of the Air Kelik Village community, East Belitung Regency. Indonesia, as an agrarian country, has many villages that rely on the agricultural sector and small enterprises. Air Kelik Village faces challenges in access to capital, technology, and markets, making cooperatives a potential solution. Through cooperative management socialization conducted by the KKN team group 15 IAIN SAS BABEL, it is hoped that the community's understanding of cooperatives can be improved. The Aik Nyato Lestari Cooperative, with a vision to create an advanced, prosperous, and independent community economy, has various work programs to support its members. This research uses qualitative methods through interviews and focus group discussions. The results show that the cooperative plays an important role in procuring raw materials, marketing products, and increasing member income, although there are still financial management issues that need to be addressed. Additionally, this cooperative also promotes environmental sustainability through more eco-friendly farming practices. The implementation of skill training programs for cooperative members has also proven to enhance both individual and collective capacities in managing businesses more efficiently. In conclusion, the Aik Nyato Lestari Cooperative has a significant contribution in improving the economic and social welfare of the Air Kelik Village community, although further development is needed in managerial and operational aspects.

Abstract

This article discusses the Religious Moderation Community Service Program (KKN) activities carried out with the Community Empowerment System (SISDAMAS) approach to optimize community empowerment through the development of Gemblong Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sukamulya Village. There are 4 cycles that must be passed within 40 days. This is motivated by the fact that the businesses owned by the Sukamulya Village Community have not developed optimally. The limited amount of income has resulted in the development of a Loan Bank known as Bank Emok, so that the loan has the potential to harm the community. The 4 stages of the SISDAMAS KKN cycle are; cycle 1 is initial socialization; community meetings and social reflection; cycle 2 is social mapping and community organizing; cycle 3 is participatory planning and program synergy; and cycle 4 is program implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Community empowerment in improving Gemblong MSMEs in Sukamulya Village was carried out by students of the Religious Moderation KKN throughout Indonesia. With a program that involves the local community, it can certainly bring significant business benefits to the economy. The results of this program show an increase in MSME income and community awareness of the importance of economic independence, so it is expected to become a sustainable community empowerment model. The qualitative research methodology to discuss “Community Empowerment System in Improving Gemblong MSMEs in Sukamulya Village” was carried out using a descriptive approach, which aims to understand the phenomenon in depth through direct interaction with the research subject.

Education stands as a fundamental pillar in fostering a progressive and competitive society. However, the challenges faced by the Indonesian education system, particularly in remote and rural areas like Desa Air Lintang, remain significant. Low student interest, hindered by limited access to learning resources, insufficient motivation, and minimal environmental support, pose a major obstacle. To address this issue, the KKN-MB IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung 2024 Group 02 launched the "Bingkisan: Free and Class-Based Learning Guidance" program. This program aimed to enhance student interest in learning through engaging and inspiring academic guidance, encompassing a variety of subjects and languages. It also eliminated financial barriers that often impede access to supplementary education. Employing interactive teaching methods, rewards, and individualized guidance, the program effectively boosted student motivation and academic understanding, provided equitable access to education, and cultivated a strong passion for learning. Evaluation results demonstrated a significant improvement in the comprehension and learning interest of participating children.

Abstract

This article explores community-based creative initiatives, including the creation of the "Rumah Dilan" painting by Sundari, plastic waste chairs led by PKK mothers, and the PKK organizational structure, showcasing their potential in community empowerment and environmental conservation. The novelty of this article lies in its detailed examination of how these projects not only produce functional and aesthetically pleasing artworks and products but also support recycling and waste reduction efforts. The methodology involves a collaborative approach, engaging various community groups, including children, teenagers, PKK mothers, and KKN students, in a series of steps for each project. The primary findings highlight the significant social bonds, enhanced skills, and environmental awareness fostered through these initiatives. Additionally, the creation of Activity Photo Charts, Reading Corners, curtains from used bottles, and Karibokas demonstrate how creativity can be integrated into community activities to achieve sustainable positive impacts. Challenges such as material collection and manufacturing techniques are overcome through good coordination and the spirit of mutual cooperation, resulting in products that function well, beautify the environment, and instill pride in the involved community.
