Abstract

To provide quality education services in line with the 4th goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) must adopt measurable and transparent learning mechanisms, particularly in assessment. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to implement digital-based assessment through the Digital Assessment Information System (SIMFONI) application at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hidayah Cijeruk. SIMFONI was developed as a technological solution to support an effective, transparent, and accountable assessment process. The application prototype was tested and applied during the PkM activity through six systematic stages: needs analysis and planning, system development, implementation, user training, evaluation and follow-up, and system socialization and maintenance. The results indicate that SIMFONI can be functionally implemented and supports teachers in conducting assessments efficiently, in line with the demands of digitalization in the globalization era.

Abstract

Desa Wanagiri termasuk desa swadaya yang masih tradisional dan masih cenderung terisolasi dari kehidupan luar desa. Keadaan lembaga Desa Wanagiri belum berfungsi sehingga administrasi desa kurang tertata dengan baik. Perangkat desa sering mengalami kesulitan ketika warga desa memerlukan surat-surat tersebut atau ketika warga kehilangan surat tersebut. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas Desa Wanagiri terutama mengenai kegiatan administrasi desa maka perlu diadakan kegiatan terkait mengenai pelaksanaan good governance. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang good governance melalui Sistem Informasi Laporan Rekapitulasi Kelahiran, Kematian, Datang, dan Pindah (SILAMPID). Kegiatan ini berupa workshop mengenai good governance dan penggunaan SILAMPID. Target dari kegiatan ini adalah Ketua RT desa Wanagiri, Pegawai Kantor Desa Wanagiri, dan Pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Saketi. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini merancang aplikasi SILAMPID dan workshop terkait pemahaman good governance. Kegiatan workshop akan dievaluasi dengan memberikan pre-test serta post-test untuk melihat tingkat pemahaman dari good governance. Selain itu, SILAMPID akan dievaluasi menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) yang digunakan untuk melihat level dari sistem. Pemberian pre-test yang diberikan sebelum kegiatan dan post-test yang diberikan setelah kegiatan workshop didapatkan hasil sebanyak 75% peserta yang hadir meningkat pengetahuan tentang pentingnya good governance.

Abstract

In today's digital era, video editing skills have become essential for professionals in the creative industry to enhance the competitiveness of digital content. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve video editing skills using CapCut Desktop among staff and managers at Media Creative Solutions (MCS), Bandung. The program was conducted through an interactive training method that combined theory, demonstrations, and project-based simulations. The results showed significant improvements in participants' abilities to independently edit videos more professionally, as well as a better understanding of CapCut Desktop features. In conclusion, the practice-based training proved effective in enhancing participants' digital competencies, and it is recommended that similar training be conducted regularly to maintain and further develop their skills.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan literasi digital siswa SMKN 2 Baleendah dalam konteks dunia bisnis. Dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, literasi digital menjadi kunci kesuksesan di era ekonomi digital, khususnya dalam bidang pemasaran online, e-commerce, serta keamanan dan etika berbisnis secara digital. Namun, masih banyak siswa yang belum memahami pemanfaatan teknologi secara optimal untuk pengembangan bisnis. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi ini, siswa diberikan pelatihan terkait strategi pemasaran digital melalui platform media sosial (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), pengelolaan toko online (Shopee, Tokopedia), serta pentingnya keamanan data dan privasi dalam transaksi digital. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup penyampaian materi teoritis, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung, sehingga siswa dapat mengaplikasikan pengetahuan tersebut secara nyata. Hasil evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa mengenai literasi digital dan penerapannya dalam bisnis. Selain itu, peserta juga menjadi lebih percaya diri dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk membuka peluang usaha maupun memasuki dunia kerja. Program ini diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi digital siswa tetapi juga mendorong semangat kewirausahaan yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Kata kunci: Literasi digital, bisnis digital, pemasaran online, e-commerce, media sosial, keamanan data, kewirausahaan, SMK.

Abstract

The transition from high school to higher education is a critical phase that demands academic readiness, mental preparedness, and strong student motivation. However, many high school students still have limited understanding of university life and the realities of the academic process. The lack of exposure to campus environments contributes to low motivation and inadequate preparation for continuing their studies, highlighting the need for a more contextual and interactive educational approach. In response, the Budi Luhur College 2025 program was designed to provide direct experience through lecture simulations, computer laboratory practicums, and faculty excursions. The program engaged 160 Grade XI students from SMA Budi Luhur, conducted over 14 sessions from February 14 to May 30, 2025. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in student satisfaction, with the number of students rating the program as “good/very good” rising from 38 at the beginning to 47 by the end. Additionally, 82% of participants reported improved understanding of campus life, and 75% stated they felt more prepared to pursue higher education. The most influential satisfaction factors were direct lecture experience (31.2%) and faculty excursions (31.2%). These findings suggest that the participatory and simulation-based approach used in the program is effective in enhancing students’ academic orientation and motivation. This success presents opportunities for future program expansion, either as an annual institutional initiative or as a sustainable collaborative community service model.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the use of solar-powered composter technology in making organic fertilizer as part of community empowerment efforts in Wanagiri Village, Saketi District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten. This technology allows the organic waste processing process to take place more efficiently by utilizing solar energy as the main resource, thereby reducing dependence on conventional energy sources and increasing environmental sustainability. The methods used in this activity include outreach regarding the importance of recycling organic waste, application of solar-powered composter technology on a household scale, technical training for the community regarding the operation and maintenance of solar-powered composters, as well as an evaluation program to ensure its sustainability. Assistance is carried out intensively to increase people's understanding and skills in using this technology independently. The results of the activity show that the use of a solar-powered composter is not only able to speed up the process of making organic fertilizer but also provides economic benefits for the people of Wanagiri Village. In addition, this community service program contributes to reducing the volume of household waste, increasing environmental awareness, and strengthening the local resource-based economy. The conclusion of this program is that the use of solar-powered composter technology has proven to be effective and can be an innovative solution in helping the Wanagiri Village community manage organic waste sustainably and improve the welfare of the village community.

Abstract

Al Mubar Quran Tahfidz Institute is an organization founded in 2009 with the mission of promoting da’wah and teaching the Quran in the Karang Tengah area and its surroundings. Its primary focus is to improve Quranic reading through tahsin activities and to assist both children and adults in memorizing the Quran. However, with the rapid technological advancements of today, enhancing digital literacy within the community has become an essential necessity. LTQ Al Mubar also seeks to contribute to the improvement of knowledge and skills in this digital era by providing graphic design training using the Canva application, which is part of their initiative to enhance digital literacy among community members. Participants in this training will acquire skills to create graphic designs suitable for promotional media, enabling them to convey effective and engaging information about products, services, or activities to the broader community. This community service approach employs both lecture and practical methods. The graphic design curriculum includes lessons on creating greeting cards, flyers, and blog banners. Evaluation results from the graphic design training using Canva indicate that 65% of respondents strongly agree that the training materials were presented clearly, while 55% strongly agree that they were given opportunities to ask questions and received satisfactory answers from the instructor. Regarding the training facilities, 60% of respondents strongly agree that they were adequately provided, and ultimately, 75% of respondents strongly agree, while another 25% agree that this training has been beneficial for them.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has made digital literacy an essential skill, especially for young people who are active on social media. The proliferation of hoaxes and invalid information in the digital space requires systematic education on credible and ethical news publishing techniques. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to enhance the digital literacy of students participating in the Community Service Learning (KKN) program in Mekarwangi Village, Cisauk, Banten, through training sessions and practical exercises in news publication on social media. The activity is conducted through a combination of lectures and practical exercises, using an educational approach and open discussions. The materials covered ethical behavior on social media, news writing techniques, and strategies for utilizing platforms such as Instagram and Kompasiana, accompanied by concrete examples and interactive dialogue about the participants' experiences. The results of the socialization showed an increase in participants' understanding. An evaluation through a quiz related to the material showed a good level of understanding, with most of the answers being correct. Additionally, the news content published by participants showed significant improvements in writing structure, accuracy of information, and visual appeal. This activity not only provided theoretical insights but also equipped participants with practical skills that can be directly applied in academic and social activities. Thus, this training proved effective in enhancing digital literacy and has the potential to serve as a model for similar educational initiatives in both academic and general community settings

Abstract

PT Digital Artisan Solusindo faces challenges in efficiently producing relevant, SEO-friendly digital content due to time and resource constraints. This community service project aimed to design and build a prototype application for auto-generating content to address this issue. The application integrates two key technologies: Google Trends, used to identify real-time popular topics, and the Gemini AI Large Language Model (LLM), which automatically generates articles based on these trends. The development process followed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, encompassing requirements analysis through interviews, system design using flowcharts and use case diagrams, implementation with PHP and the Laravel framework featuring the Laravel Horizon queue manager, and functional testing. The result is a functional prototype deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure. It can automatically fetch trends, process them into prompts, generate content via Gemini AI, and store it in a database. This prototype provides a successful solution for automating content creation at PT Digital Artisan Solusindo, saving time and resources, and holds the potential to be developed into a new, innovative service product
