Abstract

Leadership character development is not an instant process, but rather a long-term journey shaped by the environment, daily interactions, and consistent habits. This study aims to analyze how students’ daily activities in dormitories contribute to the formation of leadership traits and productive attitudes essential for entering the professional world. Utilizing a qualitative approach through review, this research examines how dormitory life fosters impactful small habits such as discipline, responsibility, time management, and social interaction. The findings reveal that routine dormitory activities—such as waking up early, maintaining cleanliness, organizing schedules, participating in organizational and spiritual activities—lay a strong foundation for inclusive and effective leadership. The case of PPI Curug Dormitory further reinforces this notion, demonstrating how long-standing routines and value-based living cultivate highly competent individuals ready to thrive in professional environments. Thus, dormitories are not merely places of residence, but strategic spaces for shaping leadership character and a strong work ethic among the younger generation.

Abstract

Counterfeit batik products continue to harm Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Pekanbaru, Indonesia, by reducing market trust and causing financial losses. This study explores the use of blockchain-based digital certification to protect product authenticity through a technology-focused simulation of the sales process. A blockchain prototype was developed using smart contracts and QR code integration to verify each batik product before it enters the simulated transaction flow. Rather than real-world deployment, the study concentrates on the technical performance of blockchain as a verification tool in a controlled environment. The system underwent several authentication-based sales simulations to assess its effectiveness. Results show a 78% reduction in simulated counterfeit cases, alongside a 62% improvement in consumer trust metrics based on participant responses. Furthermore, the projected certification cost using the blockchain system was over 75% lower than traditional methods. These results demonstrate blockchain’s potential in safeguarding local creative industries by ensuring traceability and trustworthiness. While this study is limited to simulated scenarios, it offers a foundation for further applied research in digital transformation strategies for SMEs. The findings underscore the role of secure, transparent technologies in promoting product integrity and economic resilience in local markets.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of inflation on Indonesia's economic growth from the perspective of Islamic economics, by incorporating other macroeconomic variables such as investment, poverty rate, and Islamic banking financing. The research utilizes the Vector Autoregression (VAR) method to explore dynamic relationships between variables and to assess both short- and long-term shock impacts from one variable to another. Annual time-series data from 2005 to 2023 were used, sourced from official publications by BPS and the World Bank. The findings reveal that inflation plays a dominant role in reducing economic growth in the short term. However, in the medium and long term, the roles of investment and poverty become increasingly significant. Islamic banking financing also demonstrates growing contributions over time, even though other macroeconomic variables have yet to reach full feasibility. These findings are reinforced by the Impulse Response Function (IRF) analysis, which shows varied responses to shocks among variables, and by the Forecast Error Variance Decomposition (FEVD), which confirms that interactions among the variables are dynamic and evolve over time. The study concludes that maintaining inflation stability and enhancing investment are vital for supporting sustainable economic growth. Furthermore, strengthening the Islamic financial sector could serve as a strategic foundation for promoting equitable, inclusive, and Sharia-compliant economic development. These insights provide valuable input for government and financial authorities in formulating macroeconomic policies rooted in Islamic values.

Abstract

One of the problems that occur in pulp and paper mills is the problem of pitch content. The addition of talc chemicals in the D0 stage bleaching process is known to reduce the pitch content in the pulp. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of talc 76% ISO and Talc 80% ISO in reducing the pitch content in the D0 stage bleaching pulp and to determine the quality of the D0 pulp produced after the addition of the two types of talc. In this experiment, Talc 76% ISO and Talc 80% ISO were added and varied the addition of chlorine dioxide to the pre-D0 pulp, then the DO stage bleaching was carried out. The research method used was a testing method by examining the quality parameters of the D0 pulp, namely brightness, residual lignin content, viscosity, and pitch content. Based on the experiments carried out, it was concluded that Talc 80% ISO was more effective than Talc 76% ISO in reducing the pitch content in D0 pulp, with a reduction efficiency of Talc 76% ISO of 14.2% and Talc 80% ISO of 41.6%. And based on the comparison of data processing results, the comparison results of the quality of D0 pulp produced between the two types of talc are not very significant, so this cannot prove the author's hypothesis which states that the quality of D0 pulp in samples using 80% ISO Talc is better than samples using talc 76% ISO.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder marked by elevated blood glucose levels and a weakened immune system, which increases vulnerability to infections such as tuberculosis. In Indonesia, the prevalence of both conditions continues to rise; however, the relationship between them remains inconsistent. This study aims to examine the association between demographic factors—specifically gender and age—and the incidence of tuberculosis among patients with diabetes mellitus. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted involving 30 diabetes mellitus patients registered at the Pasir Mulya Health Center, Bogor City, from September 2024 to March 2025. Tuberculosis diagnosis was performed using the GeneXpert method, while statistical analysis employed the Chi-Square test and Fisher’s Exact Test. The majority of respondents were male (66.7%) and under 60 years of age (63.3%). Statistical analysis revealed no significant association between gender (p = 0.101) or age (p = 0.702) and the incidence of tuberculosis in this population. Although a higher proportion of TB was observed in male and younger patients, the differences were not statistically significant. These findings highlight the need for sustained preventive measures and targeted health promotion, particularly among high-risk groups.

Abstract

This article investigated the passenger demand forecasting for the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Rail Link, utilizing linear regression and exponential smoothing techniques. Given the in-creased significance of accurate demand forecasts in urban transportation systems, this research aims to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. Historical passenger data was analyzed from January 2024 to April 2025, revealing an upward trend in rid-ership. Three forecasting methods—linear regression, single exponential smoothing, and double exponential smoothing—were employed and compared using key accuracy metrics such as Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results indicate that linear regression yields the lowest error rates, making it the most effective method for forecasting future passenger numbers. En-hanced forecasting models, as proposed in this study, can significantly contribute to urban transportation planning and service optimization. From the research, indicate that the line-ar regression method is better in terms of forecasting accuracy, making it the preferred choice for predicting passenger demand for the airport rail service. The forecasts indicate a consistent and gradual increase in passenger numbers, starting from 770,025 in period 17 and reaching 840,457 by period 24. This steady growth pattern aligns with the upward trend observed in previous historical data, suggesting that increasing access to and aware-ness of the airport rail service will continue to drive ridership. The forecasts assist in opera-tional decision-making, allowing for adequate planning of resources, scheduling adjust-ments, and infrastructure needs to accommodate the projected growth in demand.

Abstract

Sustainable development has become a primary framework for formulating public policy globally, but its implementation at the regional level, particularly in Eastern Indonesia, faces various structural and institutional capacity challenges. This study aims to analyze the implementation practices of regional policies that support the sustainable development agenda, focusing on institutional dynamics, the role of local governments, and the integration of green governance principles. The method used is a systematic literature review using the PRISMA approach, which identified and critically reviewed six national and five international articles published in the last five years, all openly accessible and with proven validity. The results of the study indicate that despite integrative efforts through strategic planning such as the RPJMD and other derivative documents, the implementation of sustainable development in the regions is still hampered by weak human resource capacity, overlapping authority between institutions, and suboptimal public participation. The study also found a gap between policy rhetoric and implementation on the ground, where the formal administrative approach has not fully adopted adaptive and inclusive principles in development governance. The study concludes that regional governance reform needs to be directed at strengthening institutions, participatory mechanisms, and data-driven planning and periodic evaluation as the foundation for transforming sustainable development policies at the local level.

Abstract

Drug storage is a crucial component of pharmaceutical services aimed at maintaining the quality, stability, and safety of medications until they are administered to patients. This study aimed to evaluate the compliance of drug storage practices at the Pharmacy Installation of Mutiara Cikutra Clinic Bandung with the standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 34 of 2021. The research was conducted from May to June 2025 using a descriptive qualitative approach through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed a compliance rate of 90,48% (19 out of 21 variables met the criteria). Overall, the storage system adhered to Good Storage Practice (GSP) principles, including proper arrangement based on dosage forms, temperature and humidity monitoring, and implementation of FIFO/FEFO systems. However, the study identified weaknesses in storage location vulnerability to flooding and the lack of physical separation for high alert medications. These findings underscore the need to strengthen SOPs, provide routine staff training, and implement risk-based digital monitoring systems to enhance the quality of pharmaceutical services in the clinic.
