Abstract

Indonesian Civil Aviation Institute (ICAI) is one college official who is under the Ministry of Transportation. In carrying out its duties and functions, STPI has four educational Training Division, namely: Pilot Training Division, Aviation Engineering Training Division, Aviation Safety and Flight Management Training Division. Aviation Engineering Training Division has five courses, one of which is the Telecommunications Engineering Program and Air Navigation (TNU). Technological developments in the world aviation industry is advancing very rapidly. Recent developments in navigation and communication technology, data link between the aircraft and ground control station are available is the Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B). ADS-B is a way in which aircraft can automatically send or receive data such as identification, position and other data in the form of broadcast (broadcast) via data link. Antenna is one of the important components in every electronic equipment transmitter and receiver. Similarly, in the ADS-B receiver equipment. Determining the type of antenna used must have the same properties as the channel pencatunya. Antennas on ADS-B receiver equipment only as recipients of the signals sent by air from all directions, the antenna used is a type of omnidirectional antenna. ADS-B receiver antenna has a monopole shape, with the working frequency of ADS-B equipment on 1090 MHz. In order to maximize the understanding of cadets and can figure out how to design an antenna that can be applied to the ADS-B receiver equipment, it needs to be made an antenna design that can be used to support the practical activities of cadets. Cadets can practice direct measurement of the antenna and see the antenna radiation pattern using the equipment in the lab Telecommunication Engineering Program and Air Navigation.

Abstract

Pasar kerja nasional dan internasional menuntut tersedianya tenaga kerja yang kompeten di setiap bidang, banyak industri dan organisasi mempersyaratkan agar tenaga kerjanya memiliki sertifikat kompetensi yang kredibel. Sertifikat kompetensasi sangat erat kaitannya terhadap penerapan manajemen sumber daya manusia berbasis kompetensi. Abstract

By looking at the current conditions the author tries to design a tool that can find out the temperature when an alarm occurs in the equipment room over long distances so that it can be immediately known by the technician to then check the location of the equipment. The working principle of this tool is when the temperature sensor detects temperature changes above the specified limit then the sensor will provide input to the Arduino which then Arduino will turn on the buzzer that is in the VOR shelter, Glide Path and Localizer. Then the transmission media can send SMS warning messages to the technician. After that to make sure whether the SMS is correct, the technician can see the alarm indicator on the VOR shelter, Glide Path and Localizer, because there are cameras installed in the VOR shelter, Glide Path and Localizer. So that technicians can immediately find out without having to come to the location of the equipment and can immediately overcome it. With this temperature detection design it is expected that the temperature conditions at VOR shelter, Glide Path and Localizer can be monitored at any time over long distances by the technician without having to come to the equipment location, this means that it will facilitate the technician's work in knowing the condition of the equipment's room temperature and in anticipation of damage to the equipment.

Abstract

The door lock system at the DVOR shelter still uses a conventional mechanical key and nothing can be used for the DVOR equipment from the technician's room. If someone is missing or there is nothing good and unknown to the technicians being discussed. In this case the author designed a DVOR shelter safety system using the keypad, password, IP camera, and Raspberry Pi in LPPNPI Yogyakarta Branch Office which still uses the key as access to DVOR shelter and the unavailability of equipment for DVOR. With that, they can support the activities of flight navigation services

Abstract

B.Indonesia Di dalam dunia penerbangan, informasi berperan penting untuk mendukung kelancaran komunikasi penerbangan demi keselamatan dan keamanan transportasi udara. Dalam rangka mendukung keselamatan, keteraturan, dan kenyamanan penerbangan, Perum LPPNPI cabang Solo menyediakan fasilitas Communication, Navigation, Surveillance dan Automation. Salah satu fasilitas otomasi yang tersedia di cabang Solo adalah fasilitas Automatic Message Switching Centre (AMSC), yang merupakan suatu alat pengendali komunikasi data atau telex dalam sistem pengatur penyaluran berita berbasis komputer yang bekerja secara store dan forward, artinya berita yang masuk ke AMSC disimpan lalu disalurkan sesuai dengan address (alamat) yang dituju. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa sistem perawatan atau pemeliharaan peralatan AMSC berikut dengan beberapa potensi gangguan yang pernah muncul dalam operasi peralatan AMSC di Perum LPPNPI cabang Solo. Dalam penelitian ini diperlukan evaluasi dan pengamatan untuk pengetahui tingkat pemeliharaan AMSC yang disesuaikan dengan Advisory Circular CASR Part 171-12. B.English In the word of aviation, information is important role to support flight communication for the safety and security of air transportation. In order to support flight safety, order and comfort, Perum LPPNPI Solo branch provide communication fasilities, Navigation, Surveillance and Automation. One of the automation facilities available in the Solo branch is the Automatic Message Switching Centre (AMSC), which is a communication control device or telex in a computer based news distribution system that works in a store and forward manner, that means the news that goes to the AMSC is stored and then distributed according to the intended address. This study aims to analyze the maintenance system of the following AMSC with some potential interference that has appeared in the operation of the AMSC equipment in the Perum LPPNPI Solo branch. Abstract

The process of data transmission in the past was still using terrestrial telecommunication system, but because terrestrial telecommunication system has limited area coverage, installation time and so forth, then developed telecommunication system by using satellite. Along with the development of technology, communication needs by using satellites is also increasing. Changes in the global environment and rapidly growing telecommunication technologies have led to a change in the way of view in telecommunication provision, so the need for structuring of national telecommunications. In 1980 Indonesia established a business entity for international telecommunication service called PT. Indonesian Satellite Coorporation (INDOSAT) which is separate from PERUMTEL. Based on PP No.25 / 1991 PERUMTEL changed into a company company (Persero) Telekomunikasi Indonesia. Telecommunication operation specifically for meteorological and geophysical purposes, broadcast radio and television, navigation, aviation, search and rescue, and so forth. In the course of its operation, satellite communications systems are not spared from a variety of disorders. One of the problems that often arise in the implementation of satellite communications is radio interference. Radio interference is a disorder generated by radio frequency induced radio stations (88-108 MHz) and is transmitted to satellites. One of the new cases occurred in February 2015, where one of the radio broadcasts detected by the Satellite Communications Control Unit (Dalkomsat) was transmitted to the Telkom-1 satellite. This interference may cause the carrier signal transmitted by satellite subscriber station Telkom-1 to be degraded. In addition, the impact of this interference also affects the satellites themselves, such as the burden on the transponder increases so that the transponder becomes over-saturated, and the most fatal of causing damage to the satellite.

Abstract

In accordance with the Rules of DGCA number: 83 2005, about the testing procedures on the ground (ground inspection) equipment electronics and electrical facilities, the cost of all existing facilities at the airport including ILS localizer testing should be carried out on land with parameters determined in order to maintain the operational performance of equipment in accordance with the standards and operational requirements that have been set. And in accordance with ICAO Annex 10 Document 8071, then to determine the performance of the localizer equipment mandatory calibration flight. This calibration flight periodically for localizer equipment provisions must be implemented four months in which the airport in cooperation with the Ministry of Transportation calibration.Sesuai dengan Peraturan dari Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara nomor : 83 tahun 2005, tentang prosedur pengujian di darat ( ground inspection ) peralatan fasilitas elektronika dan listrik penerbangan maka semua fasilitas yang ada di Bandara termasuk ILS, Localizer harus dilaksanakan pengujian di darat dengan parameter yang telah ditentukan guna mempertahankan kinerja operasional peralatan sesuai dengan standard dan persyaratan operasional yang telah ditetapkan. Dan sesuai dengan annex 10 Document 8071 ICAO, maka untuk mengetahui kinerja dari peralatan localizer maka wajib dilakukan penerbangan kalibrasi. Penerbangan kalibrasi ini berkala untuk peralatan localizer ketentuannya harus dilaksanakan 4 bulan sekali dimana pihak Bandar udara bekerja sama dengan Balai kalibrasi Kementerian Perhubungan.
