Abstract

This research was motivated/encouraged by the low learning outcomes and activity of students in Thematic Learning at fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Way Laga. The aim of this research was to enhance students’ learning outcomes and activity in Thematic Learning by implementing discovery Learning Model. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which carried out in three cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The result showed that (1) the implementation of Discovery Learning Model in Thematic Learning at fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Way Laga could enhance the students’ learning outcomes. It can be seen from the learning outcomes of each cycle. The average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 58.95 with the percentage of completeness was 34.21%. In the second cycle, the average value was 68.68 with the percentage of completeness was 52.63%. Then, there was an enhancement again in the third cycle that the average value was 80.26 with a percentage of completeness is 81.58%. (2) The implementation of the discovery learning model could also enhance the students’ activity. It could be seen from the enhancement of students’ activity in learning based on the results of observations in each cycle. The first cycle was 56.25%, in the second cycle it enhanced by 72.92%, and enhanced in the third cycle by 87.50%.

Abstract

This study aims to increase student activity in the thematic learning process for grade 5 students at SDN Tambakrejo in the 2020/2021 academic year. Less than optimal student activity is caused by distance learning that is currently being carried out by teachers and students due to the pandemic. The subjects of this study were the 5th grade students of SDN Tambakrejo with a total of 32 students and 5th grade teachers. The data collected included the results of student activity questionnaires and the results of student observations. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle includes 4 (four) stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. In this study, it is said to be successful if the results of student activity have increased by 75%. The results showed that the second cycle could be achieved. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was shown that the average of 3 indicators was 59%, cycle 1 was 65%, and cycle 2 was 79%. In cycle 2 it reached 79% and has exceeded the level of achievement of 79%. From the results of these data shows the results of student activity in cycle II have been able to meet the achievement indicator, namely an increase in student activity by 75%.

Abstract

Learning Biology as the parts of science comprised by theories, principals, and science’s skills. The research was Classroom Action Research. The aims of this research were to improve science processing skills and analytical thinking for 10th grade of Farmacy Student at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Purwokerto in the topic of Animal Tissue through learning model called Accelerated Include by Discovery (ALID). The research done in two cycles. For each cycle, there were planning, acting, observation, and reflecting stages. The learning material delivered in the first cycle was about Epithelial tissue and muscle tissues, the in the second cycle was about Nervous tissue and connective tissue on the vertebrate . The subject of the research was the students of grade 10 Farmacy at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Purwokerto year 2019/2020 which has 28 students in the class. The objectives of the research focused on the analytical thinking and the science processing skills. The data collections were obtained through interview, observation, and evaluation test. The research instruments were test items, observational sheets, and observational guidelines. The data had been analysed through quantitative descriptive. Accelerated Include by Discovery (ALID) learning could improve the 10th grade of Farmacy students’ science processing skills and their analytical thinking ability. There was science processing skills’ improvement from cycle one to cycle two. In cycle 1, there are 20 students with the percentage 71,4 % got well criteria, and there were 25 students got the percentage 89,28 % of well criteria in the second cycle. In addition, the evaluation test of analytical thinking got class requirement score in the first cycle around 64,28 % with class’ average score 72,07, meanwhile in the second cycle, it improved 82,14 % for class requirement score with class’ average score 80,36.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to determine whether the application of online learning with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model through the Nesabasiapel LMS can improve the critical thinking skills of 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batu on the material of Natural Resources Potential. The research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class 7G in the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 30 people. The object of research is students' critical thinking skills. The results obtained in this study are the application of the Problem Based Learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills. The results of the observation of students' critical thinking skills showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II, from 70.83% in the first cycle to 82.53% in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was an effort to improve cognitive abilities in the children of the Islamic Kindergarten B group I gagaksipat Boyolali regency by using flash card games. This study uses a classroom action research approach. The objects of this research are the 17 children of group b Islamic Kindergarten I Gagaksipat. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research. Classroom action research was carried out in two cycles. The research procedure consists of four stages, namely action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection technique used is observation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that children's cognitive abilities have increased. This is indicated by an increase in the pre-cycle of 40.2%, increasing to 73% in the first cycle, then increasing again in the second cycle to 86.4%. Thus, the use of flash card games can improve cognitive abilities in children in group B of Islamic Kindergarten I Gagaksipat, Boyolali Regency.

Abstract

In learning mathematics on basic competencies, determining the value of statistical data concentration is often a problem, especially for students of class XII Multimedia 3 at SMK Negeri 1 Bangil. It is known that the main problem of learning mathematics in class XII Multimedia 3 at SMK Negeri 1 Bangil is the ability to determine the value of statistical data concentration is still low. Based on these problems the researchers tried to present the use of the Think-Pair-Square Type of Cooperatie Learning learning model to better find and apply the concept acquisition, so the researchers took the problem of How to Improve Statistics Learning Outcomes Through the Application of the Think-Pair-Square Type Learning Model in Class XII Multimedia Students 3 State Vocational High School 1 Bangil, Pasuruan Regency, 2018/2019 Academic Year? From the problem, the researcher obtained data from observations and reflections. Based on the improvement observation data, it was found that there was an increase in student achievement in the first cycle, there were 21 students (58.33%) achieving a mastery score of > 70 with a class average of 77.78 while in Cycle II, 33 students (91.7%) achieved a grade completeness is > 78 with a class average of 85.42. From the results of learning improvements carried out by researchers, it can be concluded that the use of the Think-Pair-Square Type Learning Model can improve student achievement in class XII Multimedia 3 SMK Negeri 1 Bangil. This shows that the Think-Pair-Square Type Learning Model used by researchers is proven to be able to improve student achievement in class XII Multimedia 3 Semester 1 basic competence determines the value of statistical data concentration in class XII Multimedia 3 SMK Negeri 1 Bangil in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

English is a foreign language for students in SMK. As we know that the subject matter of English includes four skills, namely: listening, speaking, reading and writing. These four aspects are supported by other language elements, such as: grammatical vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation according to the theme as a means of achieving goals. Writing is one of the language skills that is felt very often to be a problem for students in the process of learning English in class. This can be seen from the results of student learning about the value of the mid-semester assessment (PTS) Odd Semester Class XI FKK SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 3 PURWOKERTO. There are many students still under KKM. The problem attracted the attention of the author in order to try to explain the topic of analysis about the students' ability to write personal letter texts and ask the students to send it via the Padlet link provided. The author has carried out classroom action research and carried out in Class XI FKK with a total of 27 students. On this occasion the goal to be achieved is to improve students' abilities and to increase student creativity in order to compose personal letter texts, develop distance learning strategies and online learning models that are effective, efficient and fun. Students can be actively involved in communication activities with express ideas, opinions and feelings in a simple way both verbally and in writing online. The technique used in this research is to make observations/observations and test student performance in the form of an online written test. From research conducted in September - October 2020. Based on the explanation in the discussion above, the research objectives that have been carried out have been successful. In other words, the implementation of online learning actions using the Padlet link can improve students' ability to write texts in the form of personal letters, it can also increase students' creativity in the online learning process or distance learning and can encourage students to be more open and able to work together again in the process of further learning activities. .

Abstract

Mathematical communication is a basic skill that must be mastered by students in learning mathematics. In learning mathematics, teachers are expected to be able to improve students' mathematical communication, especially during the covid 19 pandemic. Teachers are also expected to be able to convey material creatively. One of the efforts made by the teacher is the use of video. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of video in optimizing student learning outcomes in learning mathematics. The research method used is CAR. The research subjects were class III students of SDN STUDENT CLASS 3 for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 43 students. The results of this research are the pre-cycle shows 52.9%), in the first cycle 27 students (61.7%), and in the second cycle, it reaches 37 students (86%). This proves that learning by using video improves students' mathematical learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes through the Numbered Heads Together learning model. The implementation of this class action is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has one meeting. The research subjects were teachers and third grade students of SD Negeri Karangawen 1, totaling 30 students. Sources of data in this study are students and teachers. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research procedure includes four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes.After using learning in the form of learning Number head together, student learning outcomes increased from the first one Judging from the pre-cycle students who completed there were 12 children or 40%, students who had not completed there were 18 children or 60%, in the first cycle there were 15 students or 50% students who had not completed, 15 students or 50% had not completed, and in the second cycle there are 30 students who have completed or 100%, there are no students who have not completed or 0%. This proves that the application of the Numbered Heads Together learning model is able to improve mathematics learning outcomes in third grade students of SD Negeri Karangawen 1, Karangawen District, Demak Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to improve vocabulary enrichment in Descriptive Text material by applying Educandy as a game-based learning media in virtual classroom during the pandemic. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) or known as Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) that contains several stager those are Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. The learning method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The data collection techniques were students’ observation sheet, questionnaires, and vocabulary tests. The subjects were students of class X OTKP 1 SMK Kartika X-2 Jakarta as many as 29 students. The result of this research proves that applying Educandy as a game-based learning media can increase vocabulary enrichment related to Descriptive Text material, it was proven by the percentage results in the pre-cycle activities were by 37.93%, in the first cycle percentage became to 79.31% and in the second cycle increased by 89.66%.
