Abstract

The sudden change in the learning process during the pandemic Covid-19 has led to the decreasing level of students’ participation in online schooling process. The research aims to identify how much students take part in classroom activities at SMAS Al-Izhar Jakarta Year 11 Social Class. The research was conducted to 23 sample students who belong to year 11 majoring in social class at SMAS Al-Jakarta. The sample students were chosen by using purpose sampling technique. The research applied descriptive method with qualitative approach. The research was conducted on 19 February until 5 March 2021 by distributing a questionnaire through Google Form format. The data resulted in that the students’ participation in year 11 social class at SMAS Al-Izhar Jakarta is classified good (adequate) in terms of oral, auditory and written classroom activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how to improve the understanding of text material reviews using electronic self-reflection (e-RD). This research includes classroom action research with the subject of class VIIIA with 20 students of SMP Batik Surakarta Special Program. This study used two cycles with two meetings consisting of four stages including planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The implementation of student learning in this study was carried out online. Based on the results of research on electronic self-reflection (e-RD), it can improve material understanding as evidenced by the first cycle, it was obtained that the average student completed 57.5% of 20 students, while the second cycle got an average score of 82.5%. So that the results of observation of electronic self-reflection optimization (e-RD) by 25% can increase students' understanding of the material presented by the teacher.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the low heat transfer in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 02 Kesesirejo, Bodeh District, Pemalang Regency in the subject of Natural Sciences. The teacher uses the Alga Medair-assisted demosntration method, where students demonstrate heat transfer with the help of water media props. While the data analysis technique approach used descriptive analysis to determine the test results and observations (non-test), interactive analysis of the results obtained from the non-test in a qualitative way. This study aims to improve the ability of teachers in the application of interactive learning with the method of demonstration assisted by Alga Medair, to improve the ability of heat transfer material, fifth grade students of SD Negeri 02 Kesesirejo, Bodeh District, Pemalang Regency in Natural Sciences subjects. The results of the study prove that it can improve learning outcomes of basic competencies. Explain the occurrence of heat transfer in class V SD Negeri 02 Kesesirejo, Bodeh District, Pemalang Regency in the 2019/2020 academic year between cycles has increased. In succession (pre-cycle, cycle I, and II) the learning outcomes of class V SD N 02 Kesesirejo, Bodeh District with a pre-cycle average value of 64.60 to 71.80 in cycle I, in cycle II it increased to 77.20. 48.00% classical completeness in the pre-cycle becomes 64.00% in the first cycle, and 80.00% in the second cycle, student activeness reaches 72.00% in the first cycle, increases to 80.00% in the second cycle, student enthusiasm / Student enthusiasm reaches a value of 76.00% in cycle I, becomes 84.00% in cycle II, by applying interactive learning combined with the Alga Medair-assisted demonstration method in grade V SD Negeri 02 Kesesirejo, Bodeh District, Pemalang Regency in Science subjects Science

Abstract

The emotional development of Kindergarten (TK) children is very strong, in this phase children cannot control their emotions so that kindergarten children (TK) often show emotional outbursts. Often we can found the children running amok to express negative emotions. They scream, kick and beat so that it is difficult to control, be guided and directed by the teacher and it affected to the class situation. For this reason, there is a need to control emotions and how to respond to children's emotions appropriately so as not to cause other problems and as a class management effort. The purpose of this study in general is to control the emotions of early childhood through Time Out Technique at Istiqamah Kindergarten Bandung.The spesific of this study are (1) To describe preparations or pre-Time Outs in an effort to control the emotions of early childhood at Istiqamah Kindergarten. (2) To describe the implementation strategy or steps of Time Out in an effort to control the emotions of early childhood at Istiqamah Kindergarten. (3) To describe the results of Time Out in an effort to control the emotions of Early Childhood at Istiqamah Kindergarten. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview, documentation, literature study and triangulation. The subject of this research is the teacher and student group A Istiqamah Kindergarten Bandung. The study have the results: 1) PraTime Out in Time Out techniques at Istiqamah kindergarten basically the teacher already has their understanding of children's emotional development, the technique of using Time Out and how to condition children in using Time Out techniques.2) The implementation of the Time Out technique was carried out by the teacher of group A when the child was unable to control emotions, not obeying the rules agreed upon when conditioning before Time Out or other negative emotions, carried out in the classroom by placing the child in a quiet chair prepared by the teacher for several minutes or several counts.3) The results of using the Time Out technique have been achieved well in order to control the emotions of early childhood. Children are more emotionally controlled and can obey the rules. Based on the findings, it is recommended that PAUD Institutions can be advised to increase teachers'competence by participating in relevant training or if the institution does not allow to bring special speakers and competent in mastering Time techniques, the teacher should always upgrade understanding and abilities in emotional development of early children and use of Time Out techniques. For parents, they should collaborate with the teacher in developing aspects of their child's development, especially their emotional development in the parenting program.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Increase the historical awareness of class VII D students of SMP IT MTA Karanganyar even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year through the implementation of Social Studies learning model Project Based Learning with virtual media of Sukuh temple. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2 cycles. Cycle 1 was carried out on June 15, 2020 and Cycle 2 was carried out on June 22, 2020. The research subjects were Class VII D students of SMP IT MTA Karanganyar, totaling 32 students. The data collection techniques used were test and non-test. The research instruments were historical awareness questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.The results showed that the implementation of social studies learning model project based learning with virtual media of Sukuh temple can increase historical awareness of class VII D students of SMP IT MTA Karanganyar even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The mean historical awareness set from school was 70 (75%). After being given the action for two cycles, the average result of historical awareness in pre-cycle 39 (low) or 66% (21) of low history awareness students, cycle 1 increased to 60 (moderate) or 28% (9) of high historical awareness students and 72 % (23) students of moderate historical awareness, cycle 2 increased again to 73 or 66% (21) students of historical awareness were high, 25% (8) of students had very high historical awareness. This achievement has exceeded the target set, which is an average of 70 or 75%. The increase in historical awareness from cycle 1 to cycle 2 was 22% and from pre-cycle to cycle 1 was 54%. The findings of this study are that the implementation of social studies learning model project based learning with virtual media of Sukuh temple can increase historical awareness of class VII D students of SMP IT MTA Karanganyar in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Abstract

UNESCO said 73% of schools were closed for 3 months or more due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Face-to-face learning at Diploma III Midwifery Program has been stopped for more than 9 months. Efforts to achieve competence in Midwifery Education are a problem that must be solved innovatively. The purpose of this study was to improve student motivation and learning outcomes through the Lesson Study method. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research which is conducted in two cycles, each of which contains 3 x 100 minutes of face to face and 3 x 120 minutes of structured assignments. The research was conducted on third semester students on contraceptive study materials which consisted of 9 topics. The results of this study were obtained in the first cycle the lowest score was 30, the highest was 66, the class average score was 45. While in the second cycle, the lowest score was 38 and the highest score was 96, with a class average score of 68. Learning motivation 9 students (33.3 %) experienced an increase in motivation from the first cycle to the second cycle, while 37% of students still had high motivation but with an increased questionnaire score. Lesson study can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. Various innovations and creativity are needed for students and lecturers to continue learning and teaching in a pandemic situation which is supported by the management in improving the quality of learning

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Nearpod and Edpuzzle in improving XI IPS ‘s learning outcome in SMA Al-Izhar Jakarta. The methods used in this paper is the class action research for 19 students. The research was conducted in 2 cycles--each has 4 phases which are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The datas are collected through tests and questionnaires. The Data was analysed by using quantitative descriptive technique. It can be concluded that the use of Nearpod and Eduzzle can boost the student’s result. This is proven to be true by the increasing average score in the first cycle 5,72% to 15,54% in the second cycle. Edpuzzle was proven to be more effective compared to Nearpod because it brought such increasement in the second cycle up to 15,54% with the classical coverage score reached to 84,21%

Abstract

This research aims to find out the increasing academic achievement of students learning in online learning method through the Genius Indonesia Application in Business Planning subjects. This study is a research action study with research subjects of grade X students BDP SMK Wikarya Karanganyar as many as 42 students. This research was conducted 2 cycles, added pre-cycle, each cycle consisting of 4 meetings. At each meeting consists of 4 stages namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used include observations and interviews in implementation stage. Based on results of the study, in pre-cycle obtained a cognitive aspects is 26.19%, psychomotor aspects is 40.48%, and affective aspects is 35.71% with not target categories. While in cycle I, the cognitive aspects is 61.90%, psychomotor aspects is 61.90% with not target categories but affective aspects is increase up to 78.57% with target categories. Finally, in cycle II, the cognitive aspects is 88.10%, psychomotor aspects is 78.57%, and affective aspects is 92.86% where all the aspects with the category were more than the target of 70.00%. Thus it can be concluded that through the Genius Indonesia Application can increase the academic achievement of grade X students BDP of SMA SMK Wikarya Karanganyar towards Business Planning lessons, in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to see the increase in student activeness in online learning. This research is a classroom action research with 22 thematic subjects of class III MIN 1 Rembang students. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Each meeting consists of 4 stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Technique data used included interviews and observations. Based on the learning results, in the first cycle obtained an average student learning activity of 68.40% with enough categories. Whereas in the second cycle the average student learning activity was 77.78% in the active category. Thus, from cycle I and cycle II there was an increase in student activity by 18.75%. Thus it can be ignored that using mobile learning can improve active learning of MIN 1 Rembang students towards online thematic learning.

Abstract

The village of Badran is known as a preman village by the Yogyakarta community for decades ago. Adaptation of the image of the preman village is influenced by the social and economic situation of society. Social entrepreneurship is a form of effort to empower the society based on social issues present in a particular area. Social entrepreneurship can also be attributed to the impact and results that society can be strong or independent (economically). Social entrepreneurship in the village of Badran is a waste bank. capital loans production and savings activities to help micro-economic enterprises through Koperasi Amal Srikandi. This research use qualitative methods by conducting deep interview and observations. Adapting social entrepreurship activities in the village of Badran have gone well because it has benefited them. Keywords: social entrepreneurship, community empowerment, social problem, waste bank.
