Abstract

The problems studied in this study are: "How to improve the science learning achievement of fourth grade students in the material of classifying animals based on the type of food in Islamic Elementary School Tompokersan Lumajang by applying the demonstration method?" This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in science subject matter by using the demonstration method for fourth grade students of Islamic Elementary School Tompokersan Lumajang. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR), with 28 students as the subject of Class IV Islamic Elementary School Tompokersan Lumajan. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The data obtained in the study are student learning outcomes taken from the written test scores at the end of the cycle. The indicator of success in this study is an increase in student learning outcomes seen from the increase in class averages and the percentage of complete learning reaching 85.71% of the number of fourth grade students at Islamic Elementary School Tompokersan Lumajang. Based on the observations of the science learning process using the demonstration method learning model in fourth grade students of SD Islam Tompokersan Lumajang, it can take place in a conducive, interactive, dynamic, open, interesting, and fun atmosphere, thus encouraging students to be active in learning, enthusiastic about participating in learning, and establish good communication with classmates while studying. The science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Islamic Elementary School Tompokersan Lumajang seen from the class average value increased, namely in the pre-cycle of 39.29%, the first cycle of 57.14%, and the second cycle of 85.71%. Thus, the application of the demonstration method learning model can improve science learning outcomes for fourth grade students at Islamic Elementary School Tompokersan Lumajang

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing the constructivism learning model in order to improve student learning outcomes in class IXA SMPN 1 Anggaberi. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Anggaberi, Konawe Regency, class IX A with 22 students. The research was conducted in semester 2 (Even) of the 2020/2021 Academic Year from March to May 2021. The classroom action research design was planned to consist of two cycles. The first cycle of class IX A students carried out PBM activities with a constructivism learning model to explain soil structure, and the second cycle carried out PBM activities with a constructivism learning model to explain soil pollution. For research data collection as follows: (1) Observation, observation data collection is carried out when research actions in the teaching and learning process take place and (2) learning outcomes, for data collection learning outcomes and student absorption in participating in learning activities are taken from daily test instruments . The results of the research data analysis showed an increase in student learning outcomes classically by 80% with a predicate sufficient at the first meeting of cycle 1 activities and an increase in the second meeting with the percentage of classical learning outcomes reaching 84% with good predicates, and in the action activities cycle 2 also there is an increase in classical learning outcomes from 86% with good predicate to 93% with very good predicate at the second meeting.

Abstract

This study aims: 1) to obtain information about the effect of applying a model based learning based on the ability to read descriptive texts for students in class X SMKS Budi Murni 3 years. 2) In order to obtain information on how much students know descriptive texts after using a model problem-based learning for students in class X SMKS Budi Murni 3. Researchers use classroom action research, researchers take action to solve problems in the learning process in the classroom. Using descriptive research methods, because it gives an idea like a learning method used by researchers and what the expected learning outcomes can be achieved. The subjects of this study were students of Class X SMKS Budi Murni 3 with descriptive text material. From the results of this action, it can be shown that the teaching and learning process with a learning-based model has a good influence on improving student learning achievement. This is indicated by efforts to develop and assess students on the subject being taught. There is an increase in learning mastery from cycles I, II and III (89.29%). In cycle III students classically have been able to achieve complete learning.

Abstract

Research on the SQ3R method has been carried out by Peter C. Ruenitz in a journal entitled Discussion-Based Instruction in Drug Metabolism. Accordingly, in a journal entitled A First Year Experience Orientation Course for Engineer by Dr. Eric P. Soulsby. In these two journals, the SQ3R method was used to study textbooks, after students understood the textbooks, discussions were held. In the discussion, students provide responses in both written and oral form. Based on the analysis of the research results, it was found that the learning activities of students with the SQ3R method experienced an increase in PAI learning on the subject of knowing Allah's Apostle. It means that it can be concluded that the SQ3R method has an effect on student learning activities in PAI Class V learning because it can improve student learning outcomes. To increase students' learning activities, teachers can use the SQ3R method as an alternative method that can increase interest in learning. Students read teaching materials in a directed manner and have optimal thinking skills. In reading teaching materials, students are trained to make questions, answer questions, seek answers and conclude learning. This makes learning more meaningful and supports the concept of independent learning for students, where learning involves students actively in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the opinions of parents’ students regarding the learning provided by MTs Annajah teachers during the COVID19 pandemic through distance learning. Distance learning separates educators and students through online or e-learning. so this learning process involves parents whose benefits are felt by the parents of students. Because after all the parents of students must be served well regarding matters of school learning. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. The population in this study were all parents’ and students of MTs Annajah, totaling 432 people. The sample in this study amounted to 65 people. Data collection was carried out by online survey using google form. The results showed that the average student's parents were satisfied with the services provided by MTs Annajah teachers with a percentage of above 50%.

Abstract

The implementation of this class action is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has one meeting. After using learning media in the form of learning videos, student learning outcomes increased from the first cycle to the second cycle. This is evidenced by the improvements in the second cycle, which is indicated by the increase in changes in student behavior in the learning process by 12.5%, the increase in mastery of student learning outcomes by 29.55%, and the increase in the quality of the assessment of the implementation of learning by 13.4 %. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that through video learning, student learning outcomes can increase on the theme of growth and development of living things in class III C SD Negeri Nagrak 02 Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency.

Abstract

Mathematical communication is a basic skill that must be mastered by students in learning mathematics. In learning mathematics, teachers are expected to be able to improve students' mathematical communication, especially during the covid 19 pandemic. Teachers are also expected to be able to convey material creatively. One of the efforts made by the teacher is the use of video. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of video in optimizing student learning outcomes in learning mathematics. The research method used is CAR. The research subjects were class VII students of MTs Al Fatah, Sidoarjo for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 43 students. The results of this research are the pre-cycle shows 52.9%), in the first cycle 27 students (61.7%), and in the second cycle, it reaches 37 students (86%). This proves that learning by using video improves students' mathematical learning outcomes.

Abstract

Citizenship Education Subject aims for students to have the following abilities: Think critically, rationally, and creatively in response to citizenship issues, participate actively and responsibly, and act intelligently in social, national and state activities, and anti -corruption, developing in a positive and democratic manner to shape oneself based on the characteristics of Indonesian society so that they can live together with other nations, interact with other nations in the world arena directly or indirectly by utilizing information and communication technology. The controlist learning model emphasizes the approach to controversial issues. Controlis learning model aims to improve or improve the quality of the learning process in the classroom, to determine the increase in students' critical thinking skills in the PPKn subject. The controlist learning model in this study aims to improve critical thinking skills and the achievement of student learning outcomes. Achievement of learning outcomes in the initial conditions of learning towards cycle 1 is the lowest value decreases by 10% from UH 1 48 to 38 and UH 2 decreases 18% from a value of 64 to 46, the highest value has increased from UH 1 95 to UH 2 97. The average value increases by 40% from 75 to 79 and the value from 79 to 83. In cycle 1, UH cycle 1 the lowest value is UH1 = 38 UH2 = 46, the highest value is UH1 = 95 and UH 2 97 The mean value of UH 1 = 79 and UH 2 = 83. In cycle 2 the lowest value is UH1 = 18 and UH 2 = 46, the highest value is UH1 = 85 and UH 2 = 90 The mean value of UH1 = 59 and UH 2 = 74. In this classroom action research using comparative descriptive analysis in determining the value between cycles.

Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is whether clipping assignment methods can improve the learning activities of grade VII B students of SMPN 1 Anggaberi in the discussion of environmental pollution material. This study aims to determine the influence of clipping assignment methods on students' learning activities in the teaching and learning process. The planned class action research procedure consists of two cycles. The first cycle of grade VIIB students of SMPN 1 Anggaberi, carried out the learning activities of Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects with the discussion of household wastewater pollution material at the first meeting and agricultural wastewater pollution at the second meeting. The second cycle of grade VIIB students of SMPN 1 Anggaberi carried out the learning activities of Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects with the discussion of domestic waste soil pollution material at the first meeting and pollution of agricultural waste soil. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that clipping tasks can improve students' learning activities, at the first meeting the results of observation assessment analysis reached a score of 50% within the criteria and increased by 9% at the second meeting with the results of observation assessment analysis reached a score of 59% is in sufficient criteria. In cycle 2 at the first meeting the results of observation assessment analysis reached a value of 75% in good criteria and increased by 12% at the second meeting with the results of observation assessment analysis reached a value of 87% was in good criteria.

Abstract

Understanding table texts in English is a challenge for junior high school students due to the lack of effective learning strategies. Initial observations at SMPN 2 Soa revealed that seventh-grade students struggled to identify information, understand data relationships, and draw conclusions from tables. Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) was chosen to connect the material with students' real-life experiences to enhance their comprehension. This study aims to describe the implementation of CTL, measure its effectiveness in improving table text comprehension, and identify challenges faced by students. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were Grade VIIC students at SMPN 2 Soa. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results from Cycle 1 showed an increase in the average score from 51.1 to 65.6, but only 17.24% of students met the target (?70). In Cycle 2, a more interactive strategy was applied, raising the average score to 78.6, with 90 % of students achieving the target, demonstrating the effectiveness of CTL.
