Maddah: Journal of Advanced Dawah Management Research adalah jurnal ilmiah yang dikelola oleh Program Studi Manajemen Dakwah, Fakultas Dakwah, UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. Jurnal ini berfokus pada pengembangan teori, konsep, dan praktik manajemen dalam konteks dakwah Islam. Jurnal ini memfasilitasi publikasi penelitian berkualitas yang berkontribusi pada kemajuan ilmu manajemen dakwah, dengan mengangkat isu-isu strategis yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat muslim saat ini. Skop penelitian yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal ini mencakup berbagai aspek manajemen dakwah, termasuk manajemen organisasi dakwah, teknologi dalam dakwah, ekonomi Islam dan dakwah, serta manajemen komunikasi dakwah. Selain itu, jurnal ini juga mencakup topik pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui dakwah, kebijakan publik yang berkaitan dengan dakwah, kajian gender dalam dakwah, serta pengembangan kepemimpinan dakwah. Dengan skop yang luas ini, Maddah berupaya menjadi wadah untuk inovasi dan pengembangan ilmu di bidang manajemen dakwah, serta memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi penguatan dakwah Islam di tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

The very rapid development of information and communication technology has made the world community move from the traditional era to the revolutionary era where all information is easy to obtain, as well as religious broadcasts that are easily obtained through social media. However, radio, which is a conventional media, still maintains religious broadcasts, this is what happened to K Radio which until now has been able to maintain religious broadcast programs. The focus of the problems that will be discussed in this thesis are: 1) What are the factors that support religious broadcast programs on radio being able to survive in the midst of rampant broadcasts on social media? 2) How do the managers of religious broadcasting programs on radio try to stay afloat in the midst of rampant broadcasts on social media? 3) What is the impact of the sustainability of religious broadcast programs on radio in the face of rampant broadcasts on social media?. The objectives of this study are: 1) To find out the supporting factors for religious broadcasting programs that are able to survive in the midst of the proliferation of broadcasts on social media. 2) To find out the efforts made by the managers of religious broadcast programs to stay afloat in the midst of rampant broadcasts on social media. 3) To find out the impact of the sustainability of religious broadcast programs in the face of rampant broadcasts on social media. This study used qualitative research methods.. Data collection techniques were obtained from observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results obtained from this study are: 1) the factors that support religious broadcasting programs are due to the quality of human resources and program management. 2) the efforts made by the manager are program branding and collaboration. 3) the impact of sustainability that occurs is in terms of economy, human resources, and institutions.

Abstract

In the current era, many young people have lost their way, so they need to be invited and embraced to return to the right path by means of da'wah. Example da'wah with actions such as alms is one carried out by the Jember Sharing Berkah Bersama Foundation. The focus the problem: 1) What is the missionary strategy of the Jember Foundation to Share Blessings Together in the Jember area? 2) How is the implementation the missionary program the Jember Sharing Blessings Foundation in the Jember area?. The research objectives: 1) to describe missionary strategy the Jember Sharing Berkah Bersama Foundation in the Jember area. 2) to describe the implementation missionary program Jember Sharing Blessings Together Foundation in the Jember area. The researcher: descriptive qualitative research. Data collection: interviews, documentation, observation. Data analysis: data collection, data condensation, data presentation, conclusion. This Concluded: 1) The Da'wah Strategy of the Jember Foundation for Sharing Blessings Together in the Jember area, namely: a. Managing activities in the social, humanitarian and religious fields through Friday sharing preaching programs, caring for orphanages, caring for pedicab drivers, road repairs, taklim assemblies, 7 boxes mineral water for bereaved families and free rice. b. Helping the Economy of Underprivileged Communities through Friday sharing preaching programs, caring for orphanages, caring for pedicab drivers, productive waqf. c. Empowerment and Potential Development through productive waqf da'wah programs. 2) The implementation program Jember Sharing Blessings Together Foundation in Jember area is divided into three, namely Friday sharing, caring for orphanages and productive waqf.

Abstract

The point of this problem is the communication strategy of Islamic religious educators in maintaining religious tolerance in Tempurejo District, Jember Regency, because Islam teaches its people through teachings brought by the Prophet Muhammad regarding the importance of maintaining unity and harmony, both inside and outside Muslims. The focus of this research is as follows: 1) How is the Communication Strategy of Islamic Religious Counselors in Maintaining Religious Tolerance in Tempurejo District? 2) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors of the Communication Strategy of Islamic Religious Counselors in Maintaining Religious Tolerance in Tempurejo District? 3) What is the Communication Strategy of Islamic Religious Counselors in anticipating conflicts between religious communities in the Tempurejo District? The objectives of this study are: 1) Islamic Religious Counselors in fostering Islamic society the importance of maintaining tolerance between religious communities in Tempurejo District, Jember Regency. 2) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors for the communication strategy of Islamic Religious Counselors in fostering Islamic society, the importance of maintaining tolerance between religious communities in Tempurejo District, Jember Regency. From the results of this study, several conclusions can be drawn from the communication strategy efforts carried out by Islamic Religious Counselors in carrying out activities for fostering religious harmony in Tempurejo District, among others: Islamic Religious Counselors use communication in planning da'wah communication strategy activities in spreading tolerance and implications for Extension workers and the government of the Tempurejo District created an institution for religious harmony, because the institution could be used as a place to create and maintain religious harmony in the Tempurejo District.

Abstract

With the increasing trend of organizations adopting digital technology, the information systems within these organizations need to broaden their scope, not only for internal purposes but also to interact with the general public, government agencies, and respond to current political developments. The aim of this research is to analyze the crucial role of information systems from an Islamic perspective, to be applied by individuals in social life. The research methodology employed in this study is qualitative, utilizing valid data. The findings indicate that the application of information concepts from an Islamic perspective emphasizes the dissemination of information based on facts, honesty, and in accordance with Islamic teachings. In the context of information systems education, these concepts are highly significant and beneficial as effective means to convey information in line with Islamic teachings. The dissemination of information within this conceptual framework encompasses a wealth of knowledge for individuals to understand the essentials of information systems, the characteristics of information concepts, and the necessary components within information systems.

Abstract

According to the potential zakat data in Indonesia, as reported by TEMPO.CO Jakarta, the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) states that the potential zakat in Indonesia reaches Rp 327 trillion per year. The potential zakat has not been maximized in Indonesia, therefore an optimal fundraising strategy management is needed to maximize the potential zakat in Probolinggo City. The focus of this thesis research is: 1) How is the fundraising strategy management of BAZNAS Probolinggo City? 2) How is the fundraising strategy management related to the increase in zakat funds carried out by BAZNAS Probolinggo City? This research aims to identify and describe the fundraising strategy management and the increase in zakat funds at BAZNAS Probolinggo City. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a field research type. The research subjects were determined using purposive sampling. The data analysis used in this research includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Meanwhile, to test the data validity, the researcher used method triangulation and source triangulation. The results of the research are: 1) The fundraising strategy management conducted by BAZNAS Probolinggo City uses two fundraising methods, namely direct fundraising and indirect fundraising. 2) With the fundraising strategy management and efforts carried out by BAZNAS Probolinggo City, the zakat funds have increased from 2019 to 2021.

Abstract

The hadith, which initially took the form of the sayings, character, behavior, and decisions of the Prophet Muhammad, has now transformed into a collection of writings or texts. This condition provides space for hadith scholars and researchers to re-examine according to their abilities in understanding the hadith. By studying the hadith, we can imitate and practice the words, actions, and decisions of Prophet Muhammad. Emulating and practicing the teachings of Muhammad is part of the form of da'wah. Therefore, it is important to study the hadith of Muhammad in order to know the Prophet's methods of da'wah. This research is a qualitative library research. The theory used to analyze the collected data is the thematic theory (hadith maudhu'i). The result of this study is that Muhammad is a role model who serves as the reference point for Islamic teachings, as an explanation of the Qur'an. After the Prophet's death, this reference point was replaced by the hadith of the Prophet, which contains the implementation of Islamic teachings. These hadiths are taught and practiced by religious leaders (da'is) as the guardians and successors of Islamic teachings. In carrying out their mission as da'is, religious leaders use two methods, namely the method of speech and the method of wisdom. These two methods are found in the hadith about spreading greetings. The hadith emphasizes direct practice, both orally and with wisdom. Without practice, the spreading of greetings commanded by the Prophet will not be carried out. In addition, the greeting hadith contains the element of uniting the community because the greeting is the best chain of prayers for the listener and an expression of love and care from the speaker.

Abstract

Dawah is one of the ways to convey the mission of the Prophet Muhammad, so dawah activities have been carried out since the time before the Prophet Muhammad. However, dawah has various ways in its delivery, which requires preachers to be more creative in conveying their dawah messages. Dawah can be delivered through print media, lectures, and using art in its implementation. From this issue, several research questions are formulated, including: 1) What is the meaning of dawah and art? 2) What is the intersection between dawah and art? 3) What is the Hadith's view on dawah through an art approach? This study used a qualitative research model and a literature review method, where references used were books and Hadith books that support this research. The research approach used in this study is a social approach, considering that dawah is a social interaction activity that involves interacting with the community. The study concluded that dawah is an activity of conveying the mission of the Prophet, while art is a form of beauty expressed through works, and the intersection between dawah and art is the same in wanting to convey the message contained in dawah and art. Moreover, from the Hadith perspective, dawah through art is permissible because it falls under the category of wisdom when conveying dawah.

Abstract

The Quran is the holy book of Islam, making it of paramount importance in the global Muslim faith. Memorization and comprehension of the Quran are significant traditions, such as the khataman. Gratitude rituals, like "Muggahan," in East Java are also emphasized, merging religious elements with the local culture. Islamic culture exerts a strong influence in East Java, despite the presence of other religions. Consequently, exploring the concept of fostering the Islamic community through the tradition of khataman Al-Qur'an is deemed essential in harmonizing local customs with Islamic values. This tradition enriches not only individual spirituality but also strengthens social bonds within the Muslim community. The research primarily addresses the following questions: 1) How can the concept of fostering the Islamic community be explored? 2) How can the khataman tradition be optimized in fostering the Islamic community? This research employs qualitative research methods and is conducted at the Masjid Agung Lamongan and Masjid Namira. The study's findings reveal that the concept of fostering the Islamic community through the khataman Al-Qur'an tradition can be explored from various aspects: 1) the spiritual aspect, 2) the intellectual aspect, and 3) the social aspect. The optimization of the khataman tradition in fostering the Islamic community involves: 1) Raising awareness among the community about the significance of the khataman Al-Qur'an tradition, 2) Developing engaging and innovative Quranic memorization programs, and 3) Enhancing the facilities and resources to support the execution of the khataman Al-Qur'an tradition.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslims in the world. The potential for zakat is also great. In Jember itself, which is a barn for NU residents, it has not been able to exploit this potential. During covid-19 economic pandemic has decreased. Fundraising is an urgent matter for LAZISNU Jember. Fundraising are the continuity of the institution. In the new normal period with the right fundraising techniques LAZISNU Jember can increase the amount of fund revenue. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques by interview, observation and documentation. Research location of the Institute for Zakat, Infaq, and handout Nahdlatul Ulama (LAZISNU), Jember. The results of this study are: 1) The urgency of fundraising at LAZISNU Jember for the sustainability of LAZISNU programs in Jember 2) Implementation of LAZISNU fundraising in Jember using fundraising techniques. Direct fundraising and indirect fundraising and structural strengthening innovation 3) Supporting factors: Great potential because of 26 MWC only 8 MWC were activated, optimization of publications on www.nu.or.id and social media, freedom in managing ZISWAF , and LAZISNU Jember inclusive. While the inhibiting factor: LAZISNU, Jember does not have an official Amil who is paid every month, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic must follow health protocols, and most people choose to donate directly to mustahik.

Abstract

Amid the noble duties of a teacher, the position of teachers in the education system of this country continues to struggle with various issues, including teacher welfare, the functional status of teachers as temporary staff, and the contractual teaching system that seemingly equates teachers with outsourced labor. Additionally, the government has proposed a policy to sell teachers' services through marketplace platforms. Are teachers' services comparable to commercial goods? Where is the respect for teachers and their duties? This study employs a library research approach. The findings on optimizing the role of teachers from the perspective of the Qur'an, Surah Ali Imran [3]: 79, reveal that the policy of placing teachers on a marketplace does not position teachers as the central figures of education aimed at producing a "rabbani" generation. Instead, it positions teachers merely as service providers and laborers. This policy contradicts the intended meaning of the word "rabbani" associated with both teachers and students. According to this verse, both teachers and students should embody the concept of "rabbani" in their teaching and learning processes. A "rabbani" teacher instructs their students with the aim of developing profound knowledge, while a "rabbani" student respects their teacher through proper conduct and dedication in learning. Selling teachers' services on a marketplace does not provide the space for fostering such "rabbani" teachers and students..
