Abstract

This study analyzes the representation of the Id, Ego, and Superego in Gojek's television commercial titled "Gojek Presents: Cerdikiawan" using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The study aims to identify how these three components of personality are depicted in the advertisement's narrative and their impact on the audience. The research employs a qualitative case study design, with data collected through observation and content analysis. The results show that the advertisement successfully portrays the conflict between the Id, Ego, and Superego through characters and scenes reflecting primal urges, rational decisions, and moral values. The advertisement also demonstrates how the Ego balances the Id's urges and the Superego's demands, creating an engaging narrative with strong moral messages. This research contributes to theoretical and practical knowledge in film and television studies, particularly in marketing and advertising contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Creativity of the Jorong Sampu Community in Efforts to Preserve Indang Tagak Dance Nagari Lubuk Gadang Utara, Sangir District, South Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province. The research method used is a qualitative research method which is descriptive analysis, namely describing and describing which is then analysed. This research uses creativity theory by Munandar and Edy Setyawati, preservation theory by Edy Sedyawati, supported by form theory by Y. Sumandiyo Hadi, and choreography theory by Rochana. The result obtained is that Indang Tagak dance is a traditional dance from Jorong Sampu which is still preserved by the community with its creativity. One form of creative effort is to develop the choreographic form of Indang Tagak dance by the Minang Saiyo Sakato studio which is hosted by the Takasiboe Community and arts institutions in South Solok Regency.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the meaningful indications contained in the Perempuan Dalam Kaba dance work and the differences in the dynamics of male and female dancers' movements and the denotation and connotation forms of the Perempuan Dalam Kaba dance from Roland Barthers' semiotic perspective. In this case, qualitative and descriptive analysis methods are used to discuss the denotation and connotation forms in the Perempuan Dalam Kaba dance work and the choreography contained in Perempuan Dalam Kaba. In writing this thesis, the theory of Choreography is used, and the theory of Roland Barthers from these two theories has a role in each discussion in this paper.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Implementation of Marching Band Extracurricular Activities at SMA N 5 Payakumbuh. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and mobile phones. Data were collected through literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data collection, data collection, clarification process and verification process. The results of the study show that the Marching Band extracurricular activities at SMAN 5 Payakumbuh currently show high consistency. There was no significant change in the implementation of this activity, both in terms of programs and methods. This extracurricular activity continues to run smoothly and regularly. The limitations of facilities and infrastructure are not a significant problem in the implementation of this extracurricular. This is due to the support from the City of Payakumbuh which provides the necessary tools for the Marching Band activities. This support allows extracurricular activities to continue to run without any significant constraints related to facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe "The Implementation of Poetry Musicalization Extracurricular Activities at SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau City". This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. Data analysis techniques by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion making. The results of the research on "Implementation of Extracurricular Activities for Poetry Musicalization at SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau City". The design of poetry musicalization extracurricular activities is to design rehearsal activities for 1 time a week and are carried out with 5 meetings. The activities carried out by the students were exercises in the formation of grubs and working on poetry into poetry musicals. The extracurricular achievement of poetry musicalization is to be able to work on poetry into a work of poetry musicalization, master the theme and meaning implied in each verse of the poem, and participate in poetry musicalization festival events at the high school level in South Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts to preserve the world's rambun randai in Jorong Sungai Angek. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The main instrument in this study is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The steps to analyze data are collecting data, describing the data and inferring the data. The results of the study show that efforts to preserve the world's rambun randai are carried out by increasing the number of perpetrators, which initially only 2 people remained, now the number of randai players has reached 12 people. Of the number of uses of the world's rambun randai, it only appears once a year at the Angek River alek activity, but now it is also displayed at weddings and outside the Jorong Sungai Angek area

Abstract

This design aims to design the interior of the Click Indonesia Global office using the Scandinavian concept, which is expected to enhance employee comfort and productivity. The research background focuses on the need for a workspace that supports employee activities in the modern era, which is increasingly dynamic and complex. The method used in this study is the 4D approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) with a SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the design. The research findings indicate that the application of the Scandinavian concept, with a dominance of neutral colors and the use of natural materials, can create a more comfortable, aesthetic, and efficient working environment. The implications of this study are expected to serve as a reference for developing office interior designs that are not only functional but also support overall employee well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of the practice of plate dancing in class VII.7 at SMP 16 Padang. This type of research is "Classroom Action Research". The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. This research was carried out in 2 cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data were collected through literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The data was analyzed using the percentage formula. The results of the study show that the implementation of learning plate dance practice with the application of the peer tutor method can improve student activities and learning outcomes. In the first cycle, there are the results of the group practice test, each group still has its group members who have not reached the completion score. In the first cycle, students obtained an average of 71.4 with a fairly good category. With the details of students who got a complete score of only 14 people equal to (46.8%) and students who did not complete it also 18 people were equal to (56.2%). In this second cycle, students obtained an average of 83.4 in the very good category. With details of students who got a complete score as many as 30 people equal to (93.7%) and 2 people equal to (6.2%) who have not received a complete score. The peer tutor method has proven to make it easier for teachers because of the help of peer tutors. With this method, students who are initially afraid or reluctant to ask the teacher will feel more comfortable asking the tutor, who is their peer, thus increasing their confidence. For students who play the role of tutors, this method is an opportunity to train themselves, responsibility, and patience. In the application of this method, students are divided into several groups, each guided by one tutor.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use, form of presentation and function of the Kuda Lumping art in Bandarejo Village and identify the factors that affect the existence of Kuda art and formulate efforts that can be made to maintain the existence of Kuda Lumping art in Bandarejo Village. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method of analysis. The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data were collected through literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps to analyze data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that Kuda Lumping is a Javanese traditional art that still exists in Nagari Lingkuang Aua Bandarejo, West Pasaman Regency. Until now, the art of Kuda Lumping is still performed on the commemoration of the Eid al-Fitr celebration in the area. The art of Kuda Lumping has become a necessity for the people of Nagari Lingkuang Aua Bandarejo, because from the past until now the art of Kuda Lumping is still used and performed in commemoration of big days, especially during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr and the art of Kuda Lumping is still recognized in the midst of the community, so that the existence of the art of Kuda Lumping is still maintained by the community that supports it.

Abstract

Sleep disorders are a prevalent issue with significant implications for human well-being. This research focuses on studying interior design concept and dynamic lighting tailored for individuals with sleep disorders aiming to create a supportive environment through human circadian rhythm. Through literature analysis and experiment-based methods, key design factors including lighting and human circadian rhythm system were identified. The outcome is a comprehensive interior design concept for theraputic purpose that promotes comfortable sleep and relaxation by synchronizing lighting design responding to the behavioural changes following 24-hour cycle. This study also explores timed interior lighting scenario for effective sleep therapy processes, aiming to enhance the quality of life for individuals with sleep disorders.
