Abstract

This study aims to explore students' experiences, reflections, and perceptions of innovative learning in drama studies through digital performance. This qualitative descriptive research utilized a case study approach with 36 students enrolled in the Drama Studies course (2025/2026) within the Indonesian Language and Literature Education program at Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Primary data consisted of students' written reflections and digital performance artifacts, supported by secondary data from literature on constructivism, dual coding/multisensory theory, and emotional intelligence, as well as curriculum documents. Data collection involved documentation, participatory observation, and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis employed thematic analysis through systematic steps including reading, coding, categorization, interpretation, and presentation. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, member checking, and peer debriefing. The findings indicate that digital performance provides positive learning experiences, strengthens the integration of theory and practice, fosters problem-solving skills, and develops collaboration, empathy, and students' emotional intelligence. These results affirm that digital performance-based drama learning is a pedagogical innovation relevant to 21st-century competencies and can serve as a model for project-based curriculum development in literature education.

Abstract

In the book Bina Belajar Al-Qur'an dan Hadith for grade V MI published by Erlangga Publisher in accordance with the madrasah curriculum (KMA) No. 183 of 2019, this book is analyzed by researchers in meeting the needs of 21st century learning, especially in developing critical thinking skills, creativity, communication, and collaboration. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of textbooks based on four aspects of the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) standards, namely the feasibility of content, feasibility of presentation, language and graphics. This study uses a literature study approach (library study) which is used to collect various data sources from the book Bina Belajar Al-Qur'an dan Hadith, journals and others. The results of the study show that this book is in the very feasible category, with the suitability of the material to KMA No. 183 of 2019, the use of communicative language, and consistent graphic displays. However, deficiencies were found in the presentation aspect, such as the absence of concept maps, learning objectives, and the lack of contextual illustrations. Overall, this book remains relevant and can support the learning of the Qur'an and Hadith in MI.

Abstract

Measurement learning is a fundamental and applicable mathematical topic in everyday life, but it often causes learning difficulties for students, especially in understanding the meaning of units, relationships between quantities, and the conceptual measurement process. These difficulties are not only caused by students' limited cognitive abilities, but also by learning designs that do not fully facilitate social interaction and student learning development. This study aims to reconstruct the contextual didactic design in measurement learning by reviewing the role of social interaction and the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) in the student learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of Didactic Design Research (DDR). The research stages include analysis of the initial didactic situation to identify student learning barriers, implementation of contextual didactic design in measurement learning, and retrospective analysis of student responses as a basis for reconstructing the didactic design. Data were collected through learning observations, analysis of student work results, interviews, and learning documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by examining social interaction patterns, forms of scaffolding, and student movements in the Zone of Proximal Development. The results of this study indicate that understanding of measurement concepts develops through social interactions between students and between students and teachers within a meaningful learning context. Social interactions and scaffolding provided gradually can encourage students to move from actual abilities to potential abilities within the Zone of Proximal Development. Retrospective analysis indicates that reconstruction of the didactic design is necessary to refine the learning context, activity sequence, and scaffolding strategies to better align with students' learning characteristics. The reconstruction of the didactic design can reduce learning barriers and improve the quality of students' conceptual understanding in measurement learning. This research provides theoretical contributions to the study of social constructivism-based mathematics education and provides practical implications for teachers in designing measurement learning that is more responsive to social interactions and student learning development.

Abstract

The success of education delivery depends heavily on the quality of supporting elements, particularly educational facilities, which play a strategic role in supporting learning activities and achieving human resource development goals. This research is motivated by a gap in understanding regarding the effectiveness of the management process for facilities and infrastructure in improving learning quality, as well as the need to adapt to the dynamics of modern education. The purpose of this research is to examine the management process for educational facilities and infrastructure and its contribution to improving learning quality, based on the results of a literature review. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method, where data was obtained through critical analysis of scientific journals and academic literature. The research findings indicate that the management of educational facilities and infrastructure includes the stages of planning, procurement, inventory, utilization, maintenance, supervision, and disposal. Each stage is interrelated and plays a strategic role in supporting a more effective, efficient, and sustainable learning process. The implications of this research indicate that the management of educational facilities and infrastructure, carried out through a planned and sustainable process, plays a crucial role in supporting the improvement of learning quality.

Abstract

Abstract. This study analyzed the effectiveness and impact of extracurricular programs at SMP Nurul Huda in Bogor Regency, Indonesia, aiming to identify areas for improvement in fostering holistic student development. The research employed a qualitative approach, gathering data through interviews with eleven students and one teacher, supplemented by direct observation of extracurricular activities and document review. Findings revealed that the effectiveness of the four extracurricular programs (scouting, pencak silat, flag raising team, and archery) was moderate, indicating significant room for improvement. Interviews with students and teachers highlighted the need for enhanced performance in competitions, more structured evaluation methods, and increased oversight from school administration. To optimize the programs' impact, the study recommends improvements in student performance, more robust evaluation systems, stronger administrative oversight, enhanced resources, and professional development for instructors. These changes would better support the holistic development of students and contribute to a more effective extracurricular program. Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas dan dampak program ekstrakurikuler di SMP Nurul Huda, Kabupaten Bogor, Indonesia, dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi area peningkatan untuk pengembangan holistik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dengan sebelas siswa dan satu guru, dilengkapi dengan observasi langsung kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan peninjauan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas empat program ekstrakurikuler (pramuka, pencak silat, paskibra, dan panahan) berada pada tingkat sedang, yang mengindikasikan adanya ruang yang signifikan untuk perbaikan. Wawancara dengan siswa dan guru menyoroti perlunya peningkatan prestasi dalam kompetisi, metode evaluasi yang lebih terstruktur, dan pengawasan yang lebih ketat dari pihak sekolah. Untuk mengoptimalkan dampak program, penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan prestasi siswa, sistem evaluasi yang lebih kuat, pengawasan administrasi yang lebih efektif, peningkatan sumber daya, dan pengembangan profesional bagi instruktur. Perubahan-perubahan ini akan lebih mendukung pengembangan holistik siswa dan berkontribusi pada program ekstrakurikuler yang lebih efektif. Kata kunci: efektivitas, ekstrakurikuler, siswa

Abstract

This study explores the integration of financial numeracy with local wisdom in mathematics education in Indonesia. By incorporating real-life financial scenarios, such as budgeting, saving, and investment calculations, into mathematics lessons, the research aims to enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts while simultaneously improving their financial literacy. The study also emphasizes the importance of using local cultural and economic knowledge as a context for learning, making abstract mathematical concepts more relevant and accessible. The findings suggest that contextualizing mathematics education through local wisdom significantly improves student engagement, understanding, and practical application of mathematical knowledge. The integration of financial numeracy helps students make informed financial decisions and prepares them for future financial challenges. This research contributes to the development of a mathematics curriculum that combines financial literacy with local context, offering a more inclusive, relevant, and practical approach to education. The study’s findings contribute to the ongoing development of more inclusive, relevant, and practical educational frameworks that incorporate financial literacy into the mathematics curriculum.
