Abstract

Promotion is a marketing activity carried out by the company (school) to introduce to the public (community) about the products they have. This study aims to determine the promotion strategy through the marketing mix of educational services at the Nurul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Blitar Regency, which is a broad unified plan for the long term and is integrated with all available resources and connects strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data sources were selected purposively and snowball sampling. The research data was collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis was carried out with qualitative analysis techniques which included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, to check the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation techniques, namely data triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the research conducted by the authors show that the promotion carried out by the Nurul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Blitar Regency has been carried out well. The implementation of the promotion strategy through the 7P mix (product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence, process) went quite well even though there was no planning and special program for each promotional mix activity carried out.

Abstract

AbstractOne of the problems is the low quality of education due to the lack of maximum education institutions in managing the risks that occur in the process of implementing education. The purpose of this study is to find out and obtain data on risk management analysis and what risks faced by Development Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Elementary School) Pembangunan (MIP) in the implementation of the 2011-2012 Renstra. Through interviews and observations that are known the main subject is a person or group of people who can provide information, they consist of management managers, management leaders to the strategic management staff. This study uses Descriptive Qualitative Analysis Method, to collect data, direct observation at the relevant institution (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta). The results of this study explain that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan (MIP) belongs to the risk averter, term namely the people who are reluctant to risk. The risk management stages carried out are risk identification (internal analysis, external and SWOT analysis), risk measurement (cross-linking SWOT, ST, WT, SO, and WO analysis), risk control (risk mitigation, risk retention, risk advoidance and risk risk transfer) and risk evaluation (consortium meetings, education unit meetings, leadership meetings and management review meetings).AbstrakSalah satu masalah rendahnya kualitas pendidikan karena kurangnya lembaga pendidikan yang maksimal dalam mengelola risiko yang terjadi dalam proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memperoleh data tentang analisis manajemen risiko dan risiko apa yang dihadapi oleh Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan (MIP) dalam pelaksanaan Renstra 2011-2012. Melalui wawancara dan observasi yang diketahui subjek utama adalah orang atau sekelompok orang yang dapat memberikan informasi, mereka terdiri dari manajer manajemen, pimpinan manajemen hingga staf manajemen strategis. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Analisis Kualitatif Deskriptif, untuk mengumpulkan data, observasi langsung di instansi terkait (Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta). Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa MIP memiliki risk averter, yaitu istilah orang yang enggan mengambil risiko. Tahapan manajemen risiko yang dilakukan adalah identifikasi risiko (analisis internal, analisis eksternal dan SWOT), pengukuran risiko (analisis SWOT, ST, WT, SO, dan WO), pengendalian risiko (risk mitigation, risk retention, risk advoidance and risk risk transfer) dan evaluasi risiko (pertemuan konsorsium, pertemuan unit pendidikan, rapat pimpinan dan rapat tinjauan manajemen).How to Cite : Asy'ari, H., Munawwaroh, Z., Salwa. Abstract

Risiko dalam konteks pendidikan merupakan sesuatu yang potensial. Risiko tersebut tidak dapat dihindari tetapi dapat dikelola dan dikendalikan. Oleh karena itu, lembaga pendidikan pada umumnya,memerlukan serangkaian prosedur dan metodologi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengukur, mengendalikan dan mengevaluasi risiko yang timbul dari pelaksanaan program pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen risiko pada pelaksanaan program pendidikan di SD/Primary Madania dan MI Pembangunan UIN Jakarta. Dikarenakan jika risiko tidak dikelola dengan baik maka akan mengakibatkan kerugian serta hambatan yang terjadi sehingga program pendidikan tidak berjalan dengan baik. Namun, jika risiko dikelola dengan  baik, tepat dan cepat maka segala kerugian dapat dimiinimalisir, dan program pendidikan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan proposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Adapun hasil penelitian ini memberikan gambaran bahwa jenis risiko yang terjadi di SD/Primary Madania dan MI Pembangunan adalah risiko spekulatif berdasarkan sifat dari risiko tersebut. Sedangkan jenis risiko berdasarkan kemunculannya yakni risiko internal dan risiko eksternal. Tahapan manajemen risiko yang dilakukan di SD/Primary Madania dan MI Pembangunan UIN Jakarta yaitu, identifikasi masalah, pengukuran risiko, pengendalian risiko (risk advoidance, risk mitigation, risk tranfer dan risk retention) dan evaluasi risiko

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung peningkatan akses sumber informasi pada masa post pandemi perpustakaan MAN se-Kabupaten Bogor. Adapun bentuk kegiatannya dengan melakukan FGD (Focus Group Discussion), pelatihan dan coaching (pendampingan) secara langsung maupun online dalam menerapkan sistem SLiMS. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa program pengabdian berlangsung dengan baik dan lancar. Program ini mampu memberi tambahan pengetahuan dan peningkatan akses sumber informasi pada masa post pandemi perpustakaan MAN se-Kabupaten Bogor dengan menggunakan aplikasi SLiMS sebesar 70% dan sebesar 30% mampu mendorong pustakawan untuk melakukan inovasi dalam pemasaran perpustakaan dengan memanfaatkan media sosial. Kelemahan dari pelatihan ini adalah peserta kurang puas karena waktu yang cukup singkat sehingga menghambat dalam menerapkan SLiMS pada perpustakaan.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the marketing strategy of educational services through the Bismart application information sistem at SMK Bina Informatika Bintaro, using descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The subjects in this research were principals, related teachers (application admins), subject teachers, students, and parents at SMK Bina Informatika Bintaro. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, discussion, conclusions, and verification. I was checking the validity of the data in this research using the triangulation method. The triangulation used is source triangulation, as well as engineering triangulation. This research revealed that at SMK Bina Informatika, learning activities using information sistem s, namely an application called Bismart (Bina Informatika Sistem Information). Bismart is divided into three: Bismart Teacher used by teachers, Bismart Student used by students, and Bismart Parent used by parents. Teachers use Bismart Teacher to support the learning process and Bismart Student, so both applications are used by teachers and students almost every day. Parents use Bismart Parent to monitor children's learning progress at school. The school's strategy in increasing the effectiveness of using the Bismart application for its users is adjusted to the needs. In Bismart Teacher, the school will conduct work meetings and socialization about Bismart Teacher every semester. Increasing the effectiveness of Bismart Student, schools since students enter as students at SMK Bina Informatika are immediately given socialization of the use of Bismart Student, as well as Bismart Parent. Using Bismart as an information sistem in schools has inhibiting and supporting factors experienced by its users. Still, the school strives to provide good service to create quality student learning. Keywords: Educational Services Marketing Strategy; Information Sistem; Application.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti strategi pemasaran jasa pendidikan melalui sistem informasi aplikasi Bismart pada SMK Bina Informatika Bintaro, dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru terkait (admin aplikasi), guru mata pelajaran, siswa, dan orang tua di SMK Bina Informatika Bintaro. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, pembahasan, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode triangulasi. Triangulasi yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber, serta triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa di SMK Bina Informatika dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan sistem informasi yaitu sebuah apliaksi bernama Bismart (Bina Informatika Sistem Information). Dalam Bismart terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu Bismart Teacher yang digunakan oleh guru, Bismart Student yang digunakan oleh siswa, serta Bismart Parent yang digunakan oleh orang tua. Bismart Teacher digunakan oleh guru dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran, begitu pula dengan Bismart Student, jadi kedua aplikasi hampir digunakan setiap hari oleh guru dan siswa. Bismart Parent digunakan oleh orang tua untuk memantau perkembangan belajar anak di sekolah. Strategi sekolah dalam meningkatkan keefektifan dari penggunaan aplikasi Bismart bagi penggunanya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan. Dalam Bismart Teacher, setiap semester sekolah akan melakukan rapat kerja dan dilakukan sosialisasi mengenai Bismart Teacher. Meningkatkan keefektifan Bismart Student, sekolah sejak siswa masuk menjadi siswa di SMK Bina Informatika langsung diberi sosialisasi penggunaan Bismart Student, begitu juga dengan Bismart Parent. Penggunaan Bismart sebagai sistem informasi di sekolah memiliki faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung yang dialami oleh penggunanya, namun pihak sekolah berusaha untuk memberikan pelayanan yang baik, demi terciptanya kualitas pembelajaran siswa. Abstract

Introduction. Providing school library services to increase students' interest in reading is still an important study for school libraries. Increasing reading interest in the SMAN 4 Tangerang Selatan Library is carried out by providing collaborative services to improve scientific communication. This research needs to be carried out so that the services provided by the library can accommodate all students in reading interest services and become basic research for school libraries in the South Tangerang area.Methodology. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a correlation coefficient test to answer the hypothesis. The population is 346 students, so a sample of 186 respondents is obtained using a simple random sampling technique. Questionnaires were distributed to 186 students with Likert scale scores with four alternative answers and documentation studies to complete data collection.Results and Discussion. This study found a relationship between library services and students' reading interest, as evidenced by the contribution of 24.6% between library services and students' reading interest. In comparison, the remaining 75.4% was explained by other variables not examined. The tendency of library services to increase reading interest is still in the moderate category.Conclusion. This study describes the school's efforts to increase student's interest in reading with the strength of the services provided by the library. Reading skills need to be trained so that the more the library can provide the facilities needed for reading, the more trained students will be.

Abstract

Akreditasi sekolah merupakan proses penilaian secara komprehensif terhadap kelayakan satuan pendidikan berdasarkan standar nasional pendidikan yang hasilnya diwujudkan dalam bentuk pengakuan dan peringkat kelayakan yang dikeluarkan oleh Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan akreditasi sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MTs Pembangunan UIN Jakarta dengan menggunakan mekanisme akreditasi sekolah dan komponen akreditasi. Adapun pedekatan dan metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan data hasil wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis kualitatif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan teknik keabsahan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi data dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan akreditasi sekolah di MTs Pembangunan UIN Jakarta sesuai dengan mekanisme yang telah ditentukan. Hasil Akreditasi yang diperoleh MTs Pembangunan UIN Jakarta dengan nilai akhir 97 berpredikat A (Unggul). Adapun tindak lanjut berupa program peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang dilaksanakan berdasarkan komponen standar nasional pendidikan

Abstract

This study examines various digital marketing strategies that can improve branding efforts in pesantren. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze digital marketing strategies in improving branding in pesantren. The findings show that integrating traditional values with modern digital innovations can significantly increase the effectiveness of branding efforts in pesantren. In addition, community engagement through various outreach programs increases the social impact of these institutions and strengthens their position as significant contributors to local economic development. The discussion highlighted five key strategies: strengthening a unique identity, leveraging digital media, developing flagship programs, building strategic partnerships, and engaging the community in social initiatives. Each strategy is critical to strengthening the educational mission of pesantren while fostering a deeper relationship with the surrounding community. This study concludes that pesantren equipped with a solid digital marketing approach and a clear strategic direction can improve their branding and educational effectiveness. Future research is recommended to investigate the specific impact of community empowerment programs and the utilization of digital technology on the quality of education in pesantren, as well as longitudinal studies to assess the long-term success of the strategic partnerships formed by these institutions.

Abstract

TikTok Live phenomenon in Indonesia has created a new form of interaction between sellers and audiences through hosts who blend entertainment and real-time product promotion. This study examines the marketing communication strategies employed by “Mas Farhan Batik,” a prominent TikTok Live host known for selling batik products while cultivating strong emotional bonds with his viewers. Using a qualitative case study approach and content analysis, this research investigates how parasocial elements are constructed and strategically leveraged to foster consumer engagement and trust in a live commerce context. Findings reveal that personalized, narrative-driven, and consistent communication enhances psychological proximity between host and audience. Specifically, elements such as the illusion of intimacy, emotional involvement, pseudo-interaction, and perceived authenticity act as key mechanisms for building a sense of belonging and driving impulse buying behavior. The study also highlights the role of everyday influencers in replacing celebrity endorsements, offering a more authentic and affective communication channel that resonates deeply with target consumers. These insights contribute to the theoretical development of parasocial interaction in interactive digital marketing and suggest that emotionally resonant communication strategies can significantly enhance brand loyalty and sales conversion in the emerging ecosystem of Indonesian live commerce.

Abstract

Disparities in higher education access for underprivileged families in Indonesia perpetuate intergenerational poverty cycles. In response, the Surabaya City Government launched the program “Satu Keluarga Satu Sarjana” through full funding and accommodation at the Bibit Unggul Dormitory. Observations by the community service team and focus group discussions (FGDs) with the Surabaya Social Agency revealed that academic competence alone, without strengthening effective communication skills, risks hindering the competitiveness of students from underprivileged backgrounds. Using a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach, the team designed a public speaking training intervention integrating visual learning techniques and gamification. The methodology included: (1) anxiety-level surveys, (2) workshops on public speaking techniques and visual-based presentation strategies, (3) practical simulations, (4) gamified role-playing scenarios, and (5) collaborative feedback sessions. Active participation of students ensured contextual relevance. Evaluation results demonstrated significant improvement in self-confidence (pre-test-post-test) and the ability to articulate ideas. This community service initiative not only addresses psychological barriers but also establishes a sustainable soft skills development model for marginalized communities, while aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in reducing educational inequality.
