Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the negative impacts caused by toxic friendships, both psychologically, emotionally, and socially, and to analyze various factors that can cause toxic friendships, such as personality differences, communication problems, jealousy, and past trauma, as well as to understand the negative impacts from friendships that are unhealthy and poison a person's life. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method, which means exploring and understanding the meaning of the motivational symbols of the experiences of individuals who are research subjects based on the results of observations and interviews. This method has several approaches, but we chose the phenomenological approach, which means this research aims to find the meaning of life experiences. The research results showed that people around him hated him in class. According to Kepanjen Islamic High School teachers, many are still in the class. Kepanjen Islamic High School's teachers hope this toxic friendship can be prevented and will not happen continuously. Not only that, teachers at Kepanjen Islamic High School are, of course, also involved in overcoming the occurrence of toxic friendships among teenagers, especially in class X.

Using empowerment theory by Jim Ife as the theoretical basis of description. Data was collected through purposive sampling, in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis was done inductively. The resource persons in this research are stakeholders in Kamulan Village and residents of roof tile craftsmen in Kamulan Village who are experienced in the roof tile industry as many as 8 resource persons. This research describes how the roof tile industry in Kamulan Village plays a role in empowering and absorbing human resources in the village. The results of the research conducted found that the home-based roof tile industry has prospered the lives of residents in the village. Empowerment carried out by residents is carried out well sustainably and actively between owners and workers in work evaluation. However, there are production obstacles with the scarcity of human resources (HR) of residents due to the large number of industries with total employment. The sustainability of the roof tile industry must be considered, especially in the availability of human resources and activating the empowerment of local village human resources. Considering the wider social and environmental impacts, it is strongly recommended that policies and socialization be made that support the growth of the roof tile industry in the future.

Abstract

This action research aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes through the application of contextual learning models with the development of e-modules in Class XI IPS 2 SMAN 2 Blitar. Initial observations showed that the sociology learning process in the class was not optimal, marked by low student activity in discussions and unsatisfactory learning outcomes, both individually and in groups. This was due to the limited learning models and media used. This study involved 34 students (19 females and 15 males) and was carried out in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of several meetings: two meetings in the first cycle, two meetings in the second cycle, and three meetings in the third cycle. Data was collected through observation, student worksheets, and documentation. The results showed that in the first cycle, only a few students showed above-average activity and learning outcomes. In the second cycle, there was a significant increase in activity, where students were more active in discussions during presentations. However, the highest learning outcome only reached a score of 4450 through the Quizizz application test. In the third cycle, there was a drastic increase in learning outcomes with the highest score reaching 9000. This study concluded that applying the contextual learning model with the development of e-modules significantly increased the activeness and learning outcomes of students in Class XI IPS 2 SMAN 2 Blitar.
