Abstract

This study aims to investigate public relations strategies, obstacles faced, and steps taken by public relations to improve the image of prospective students SMK Hidayah Semarang City. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive analysis, data collection techniques for this research use observation, interviews and documentation methods. The research results show that the Public Relations strategy at SMK Hidayah Semarang consists of publications, events, news, community involvement, inform or image, lobbying, and negotiations, social responsibility; Obstacles that occur in carrying out the public relations strategy of SMK Hidayah Semarang, namely the lack of human resources to assist the performance of public relations in schools, and the existence of zoning system regulations; Efforts made by Public Relations to overcome obstacles are by involving all school staff to help with Public Relations activities, either collaborating with other Head of Student Affairs, or requiring teachers to create WhatsApp stories as a form of promotion, and put up banners, distribute brochures, and publicize via the SMK website guidance. This research provides information as a form of evaluation for public relations in schools regarding public relations marketing management

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of human resource competence, work motivation and job satisfaction on the service quality of employees of sub-district offices throughout the city of Semarang. This research is a quantitative research with a population of 1320 sub-district office employees throughout Semarang City. The number of samples in this study was 93 respondents which was calculated using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique uses techniques Propotionate Random Sampling. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire method. The data analysis technique uses the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, model feasibility test, hypothesis test, coefficient of determination test and descriptive statistical analysis of percentages using the IBM SPSS 26 program. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis obtained data namely Y = 9.776 + 0.590X1 + 0.082 X2 + 0.142X3 + e. The results of the research show that human resource competence has a positive and significant influence on the quality of employee service, while work motivation and job satisfaction do not have a significant influence on the quality of service for employees of sub-district offices throughout Semarang City.

Abstract

Temuan ini menyatakan bahwa variabel tekanan, rasionalisasi, kemampuan, dan arogansi memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap niat melakukan pelanggaran akademik. Sebaliknya, kesempatan tidak berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap niat mahasiswa untuk melakukan kecurangan. Rasionalisasi dan kemampuan berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap pelanggaran akademik. Arogansi memiliki pengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik. Sementara itu kesempatan dan tekanan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kecurangan akademik. Niat berhasil memediasi pengaruh tekanan, rasionalisasi, dan arogansi terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik. Sedangkan niat gagal memediasi pengaruh kesempatan dan kemampuan terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik. Maknanya tidak ada pengaruh mediasi yang diberikan oleh niat terhadap pengaruh kesempatan an kemampuan pada kecurangan akademik.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the reliability and responsiveness of Sumberwulan village officials in providing administrative services to the Sumberwulan village community. This type of research is qualitative descriptive analysis, data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of this research show two very prominent dimensions of service quality, namely the reliability dimension and the responsiveness dimension. Sumberwulan village officials have been able to implement the dimensions of reliability well and in accordance with the SOP. Sumberwulan village officials have been able to implement dimensions of responsiveness. All indicators have been fully implemented in the service process. This research provides information as a form of evaluation for the Sumberwulan Village Office in providing administrative services to the community.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the role of soft skills in mediating the influence of introduction to the school field (PLP), interest in becoming a teacher and family environment on students' readiness to become teachers. The type of research used is quantitative. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The population in this study was 107 students from the FEB UNNES office administration study program in 2020. The sample was 85 students determined using the Slovin formula. The research results showed that of the 10 (ten) hypotheses proposed, there were 8 (eight) hypotheses accepted and 2 (two) hypotheses rejected, with the following details, PLP has a positive and significant effect on readiness to become a teacher, PLP has a positive and significant effect on soft skills, interest has a positive and significant effect on readiness to become a teacher, interest has a positive and significant effect on soft skills, family environment has a positive and significant effect on readiness to become a teacher, family environment has a positive and significant effect on soft skills, soft skills have a positive and significant effect on readiness to become a teacher, interest mediated by soft skills has a positive and significant effect on readiness to become a teacher. Furthermore, PLP mediated by soft skills has a positive but not significant effect on readiness to become a teacher, likewise the family environment mediated by soft skills also has a positive but not significant effect on readiness to become a teacher

Abstract

Sustainability is currently the focus of the government in various long-term national development policies, balancing various aspects ranging from environmental sustainability, economic, social, cultural and others. One interesting aspect study is about sustainable consumption. Studies related to consumption behavior so as not to pollute the environment and waste-based waste have not been widely carried out and integrated. Sustainable consumption is also able as an effort to optimize circular economy strategies that can be carried out including by students in higher education. Based on these problems, the purpose of this research is to conduct a study and preparation of circular economy optimization strategies based on food waste based on the participation of Semarang State University students, involving various stakeholders related to sustainable consumption. The research methodology is a mixed methods approach, namely qualitative by means of interviews, observation and documentation and quantitative through stakeholder interaction mapping using MACTOR (Matric of Alliance, Conflicts, Tactics, Objectives, Recommendations). The results concluded that the role of actors/stakeholders is very important in efforts to optimize the circular economy based on food waste. Actors/stakeholders consist of ABCGM elements, namely Academics, Business, Community, Government and Media. Actors with the highest/strongest level of convergence are AKADEMISI1, KOMUNITAS1 and MAHASISWA1. Meanwhile, the strongest goals/objectives that are able to collaborate the actors/stakeholders in achieving the research objectives are the Ability to Innovate and Competitiveness (INOVASI), Natural Balance, Production and Profit (3P) and Community Empowerment (BERDAYA).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation and creativity through learning independence as a mediating variable on correspondence learning outcomes of office administration education students class of 2022, Universitas Negeri Semarang. The population used in the study were office administration education students class of 2022 who took correspondence courses as many as 131 students. this study used data collection techniques with unstructured interviews and questionnaires and data analysis techniques using SEM-PLS. The results showed that learning motivation and creativity had a positive and significant effect directly on self-regulated learning, learning motivation and creativity also had a positive and significant effect directly on correspondence learning outcomes. Self-regulated learning can mediate learning motivation and creativity which have a positive and significant effect on correspondence learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh investasi terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) dalam kerangka pembangunan berkelanjutan. Investasi yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah penanaman modal asing (PMA) dan investasi sumber  daya yang diukur dengan indeks pembangunan manusia (IPM). Di samping itu, analisis pengaruh jumlah angkatan kerja, ekspor, dan impor juga dilakukan. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan model analisis regresi data panel. Melalui teknik dokumentasi, diperoleh 102 unit data dari pemerintah provinsi di Indonesia selama tahun 2020-2022. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analsisis regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa PMA mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap PDRB. IPM, jumlah angkatan tenaga kerja, ekspor, dan impor tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap PDRB. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa pemerintah daerah harus mengambil kebijakan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan PMA di wilayahnya masing-masing.  Peningkatan investasi dengan indikator kontribusi PMA terhadap PDB merupakan salah satu pilar yang telah ditentukan oleh pemerintah sebagai bagian dari tujuan dan indikator keberhasilan pilar pembangunan ekonomi berkelanjutan.   Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of investment on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) within the framework of sustainable development. The investment referred to in this study is foreign investment (FDI) and investment in resources as measured by the human development index (HDI). In addition, an analysis of the effect of the number of workforce, exports, and imports was also carried out. The type of research is quantitative research with a panel data regression analysis model. Through documentation techniques, 102 data units were obtained from provincial governments in Indonesia during 2020-2022. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that FDI has a positive and significant effect on GRDP. HDI, the number of workforce, exports, and imports do not have a significant effect on GRDP. The research findings emphasize that local governments must take appropriate policies to increase FDI in their respective regions. Increasing investment with an indicator of FDI contribution to GDP is one of the pillars that has been determined by the government as part of the objectives and indicators of the success of the pillars of sustainable economic development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menjelaskan penerapan model pendekatan AIDA pada penggunaan media sosial Instagram sebagai strategi promosi pada toko Oleh-Oleh Khas Jombang Risell. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dimana data yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini akan di jelaskan sesuai dengan hasil temuan dilapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Instagram’oleholehjombangrisell’ sebagai strategi promosi ini, dapat bersaing dengan kompetitor. Selain itu adanya promosi yang dilakukan melalui Instagram dapat memperkenalkan produk UMKM yang terdapat di kota Jombang ke semua masyarakat luas (luar kota Jombang). Terdapat beberapa strategi yang dilakukan oleh toko Oleh-Oleh Khas Jombang Risell dalam penggunaan Instagram yaitu dengan menerapkan model pendekatan AIDA. Penggunaan model pendekatan AIDA yang telah diterapkan ini dapat menarik calon konsumen atau follower  untuk mengunjungi dan mengikuti alamat Instagram yang beralamat dari Jombang maupun luar kota Jombang selain itu adanya model pendekatan AIDA yang diterapkan pada konten ini dapat mendorong konsumen untuk melakukan proses pemesanan hingga pembelian.

Abstract

Challenges for educational institutions can be characterized by increasing institutional competition and the number of educational institutions offering services. The number of existing institutions causes the high competitiveness of each institution. Educational institutions must build a good brand image to influence prospective students and the public to choose the educational institution. Branding image reflects the quality of superior educational institutions, good academic programs, qualified educators, and supporting facilities and infrastructure. The formulation of the problem in this literature review is what is the role of public relations in improving school image and how is the public relations strategy in improving school image. The writing of this article uses a literature study approach that explores information and processes research materials through recorded events that have been reviewed in scientific works in the form of writings, images, or monumental works of a person. The data sources studied were books, journals, magazines, documents, newspapers, research report articles, and information sourced from the internet. Public relations is a comprehensive and integrated strategy regarding the main activities of an institution. In this context, Public Relations is required to be able to shape the values of understanding attitudes to public behavior to be in line with the needs of the institution.  The strategy used in packaging public communication messages that contain more about what and who and what are the benefits of the existence of an institution. This ability needs to be supported by public relations programs and activities, especially in order to build the image of educational institutions in the eyes of the community, which consists of marketing and corporate programs and activities. The role of public relations in educational institutions, at least, consists of several roles, namely: communicator, expert advisor, intermediary / counseling, and problem-solving facilitator.
