Abstract

This study aims to find out: The amount of production and income of organic cashew farmers and non-organic cashew farming and determine the comparison of production and income of organic cashew farmers and non-organic cashew farming in Lakudo District, Central Buton Regency. The population in the study is all farmers who cultivate organic and non-organic cashew farming in Lakudo District. Sample determination was determined by proportional stratified random sampling, the sample in this study was 49 respondents.The analysis was carried out using the concepts of income and t-test. The results of the study show that (1) The total average income of organic cashew farming is Rp.763,278/ha in one year, with an average production of 113.7 kg/year, with an average revenue of Rp.1,364,444 and an average production cost of organic cashew farming of Rp.601,167 in one year. Meanwhile, non-organic cashew farming has an average income of Rp.4,285,413/ha in one year, with an average production of 462.3 kg/year, with an average revenue of Rp.5,547,273 and an average production cost of non-organic cashew farming of Rp.2,581,487 in one year. (2) There is a significant difference between organic cashew farming income and non-organic cashew farming income, this is seen from the calculation results of the independent Sample T-test where the t-count value is 2.601>2.011 t-table, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profitability and feasibility of sago-based product ventures in the Bagea Sukses Bersama household industry located in East Kolaka Regency. The research was conducted in Simbune Village, Tirawuta Subdistrict, East Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, in May 2024. The object of this study is the Bagea Sukses Bersama household industry, which produces various types of sago-based products, including bagea and other sago biscuit products derived from agricultural sago. The focus of the research is on the business owner and the workers directly involved in the industry. The data analysis methods used include profitability analysis and Revenue and Cost Ratio (R/C ratio) analysis. The results of the study show that 1) The profit earned by the Bagea Sukses Bersama household industry amounts to Rp4,800,200 per month. This profit reflects the amount or nominal value gained by Bagea Sukses Bersama, influencing the profitability and feasibility of the business, and 2) The total revenue generated is Rp8,100,000 per month, while the total production cost is Rp3,299,800 per month, resulting in an R/C ratio of 2.45. This ratio indicates that each unit of cost incurred generates revenue 2.45 times greater than the cost, or that every Rp1 invested in production costs yields Rp2.45 in revenue

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the socio-economic condition of consumption of land kale (Ipomoea Reptans) in Poasia District, Kendari City and (2) socioeconomic factors on the consumption behavior of land kale (Ipomoea Reptans) in Poasia District, Kendari City. The population in this study is all people who are consumers who have consumed land kale plants (Ipomoea Reptans). The sampling technique was carried out by accidental sampling. The number of samples taken was 60 people. The data analysis used in this study is descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are (1) The socio-economic condition of land kale consumers (Ipomoea Reptans) in Poasia District Kendari City consists of the number of family members in the high category, the level of education in the high category, the income in the very high category and the product price in the very high category and (2) cultural factors (X1 ) and psychological factors (X4 ) have a significant effect on the consumption behavior of land kale (Ipomoea Reptans) in the Poasia Landscape of Kendari City

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the internal and external factors in developing the coconut oil agro-industry in Kancinaa Village, Pasarwajo District, Buton Regency, (2) determine the strategies that can be implemented in developing the coconut oil agro-industry in Kancinaa Village, Pasarwajo District, Buton Regency. This research was carried out in Kancinaa Village, Pasarwajo District, Buton Regency from January to June 2024. Information was collected through interviews with 12 respondents. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research show that: that internal factors have a positive influence on people who process coconuts into coconut oil. And external factors show that in general external factors have a quite good influence on the business of developing the coconut oil agro-industry

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Microcredit and the income differences of agribusiness actors before and after receiving the microcredit program in Palangga District, South Konawe Regency. Effectiveness in this study uses three aspects: the amount of credit, credit utilization, and credit burden. The population in this study is all agribusiness actors who are customers and borrow microcredit in Kiaea Village and Persiapan Wonua Morini Village, Palangga District, totaling 40 people. Sampling was done using non-probability sampling methods through saturation sampling (census), where all populations were sampled. Data analysis used simple statistical analysis to measure the effectiveness of microcredit and Paired Sample t-test for income difference analysis. The results showed that the overall effectiveness of microcredit distribution is very effective, as seen from each variable, namely: 1) the amount of credit is very effective, 2) credit utilization is very effective, and 3) credit burden is very effective. There is an income difference for agribusiness entrepreneurs before and after receiving microcredit

Abstract

Climate change occurs due to changes in climate elements such as wind, air humidity, temperature and rainfall. Climate change is caused by natural events and human activities, which threaten the agricultural sector and food security, impacting humans and crops. The affected agricultural sector, including the horticulture subsector, experienced a decline in production and farmer income. One of the affected horticultural commodities is cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.), which is important for fulfilling people's nutrition. This research aims to: (1) Find out the productivity of cayenne pepper in Southeast Sulawesi Province, and (2) Analyze the effect of rainfall on the productivity of cayenne pepper in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The data used in this research is secondary data, obtained from the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Plantation and Horticulture Service and the Southeast Sulawesi Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data in this study were analyzed using simple regression. The research results show that the productivity of cayenne pepper in Southeast Sulawesi Province from 1993-2023 is 29,784 Ku/Ha, varying from year to year. The estimation results of the regression equation model show that rainfall has no effect on cayenne pepper productivity

Abstract

Character degradation affects the personality of the nation and has the potential for regression. Therefore, strengthening the character of citizenship is an important study with an integration strategy in various activities (samaptaan, local culture) at SMAN 1 Giri Banyuwangi. The use of various activities in schools to strengthen civic character is the right step for the next generation to be globally intelligent and have a national character. Using a qualitative approach of case studies, this study produced the following findings: (1) activities of equality and local culture, strengthening civic character based on the PPK program, as a harmonization of ethics, aesthetics, and kinesthetics; school culture and extracurricular approaches to form civic virtue of the nation's successors in accordance with the national pillars (Pancasila, 1945 Constitution, NKRI, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika); (2) supporters: the care of the Police, the Indonesian Army/Navy, the Battalion organization; mandatory enforcement; funding from schools, students, business funds, sponsors; Health Protocols

Abstract

The cultural transformation of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era is an effort to adapt traditional Islamic educational institutions to rapid technological developments. This research aims to analyze how Islamic boarding schools can combine the local values that form their identity with global competencies that are relevant in the 21st century. With a focus on the integration of digital literacy, curriculum changes, and the use of technology in education and da'wah, this research shows that Islamic boarding schools not only adopt technology to expand the reach of learning and da'wah, but also maintain a balance between preserving Islamic values and local traditions. The results of this research show that Islamic boarding schools are able to use technology wisely, by emphasizing the use of technology that is in line with Islamic morals. Apart from that, Islamic boarding schools are also updating their curriculum to improve 21st century skills, such as digital literacy, foreign languages and critical thinking. This research concludes that Islamic boarding schools can be a model of Islamic education that is innovative and relevant to global demands without losing Islamic identity and local values.

Abstract

This research was motivated by challenges in the development of agricultural businesses due to limited capital and difficulties in accessing funding sources. To strengthen the capital capacity of agricultural businesses, the government launched the People's Business Credit (KUR) program with low-interest rates aimed at farmers. This study aims to: (1) determine the income level of rice paddy farmers in Konawe Selatan Regency, and (2) analyze the impact of the KUR program on the income of rice paddy farmers in Konawe Selatan Regency. The population of this study consisted of all rice paddy farmers in Ranomeeto and Ranomeeto Barat Districts who utilized KUR loans. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach, involving 60 farmers who met the criteria. The data analysis was conducted using income analysis and double-logarithm regression analysis with F-test and t-test. The results showed that the average income of rice paddy farming was IDR 16,697,234 per harvest. The variables of KUR interest rates and the amount of KUR loans were positively correlated but did not have a significant impact on the income of rice paddy farmers

Abstract

This research aims to determine the balance of income and expenditure of fishing households in Tatombuli Village, Bonegunu District, North Buton Regency. The population in this study were all fishermen in Tatombuli Village, Bonegunu District, North Buton Regency, totaling 42 people. The sample was determined using the census technique, namely taking the entire population as a sample. The data was analyzed quantitatively using income, household consumption expenditure and savings function. The results of the research show that (1) The average income of fishermen in Tatombuli Village from fishing is IDR26,561,080/year, (2) The average household consumption expenditure of fishermen in Tatombuli Village is IDR20,145,738/year, which includes food expenditure amounting to IDR13,814,881/year and non-food expenditure amounting to IDR6,330,857/year, and (3) Household economic balance, namely surplus or income greater than consumption expenditure with savings of IDR6.415,342/year, which means that the household Fishermen are able to finance all household expenses from the income they earn
