Abstract

This study aims to analyze the motivation of palm sugar processors in Wolo District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The research was conducted using a descriptive analysis approach, with data collected through surveys and interviews with 60 palm sugar processors. The results show that the majority of palm sugar processors have low motivation (68.33%), with economic motives being the most dominant factor influencing their motivation. The study also highlights the importance of improving the motivation of palm sugar processors through government intervention, training, and the development of cooperative networks to enhance the sustainability and productivity of the palm sugar industry. This research contributes to the understanding of the factors influencing the motivation of small-scale agro-industry workers and provides recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders in the palm sugar industry

Abstract

Climate change is one of the natural phenomena that has a considerable impact on agriculture. This study aims to find out (1) Clove Plant Productivity in Kramat Village, West Taliabu District, Taliabu Island Regency, North Maluku Province (2) Adaptation Strategies Carried out by Clove Farmers in Kramat Village, West Taliabu District, Taliabu Island Regency, North Maluku Province. The determination of the research location was carried out purely with the consideration that Kramat Village is one of the clove producers that has unstable climatic conditions and threatens the productivity of cloves which is the main source of livelihood for farmers. The number of clove farmer respondents was 36 farmers. The data analysis used was a descriptive-qualitative analysis with a Likert scale. The results of the study showed that the productivity of clove plants in Kramat Village, West Taliabu District, Taliabu Island Regency, was only 106.60 kg/ha/year. This low productivity is caused by climatic variations in high rainfall that occurred in Kramat Village, West Taliabu District with a range of 1811.9-5118.8 mm/year. The adaptation strategies carried out by clove farmers in the face of climate change that occurred in Kramat Village, West Taliabu District, Taliabu Island Regency, are the use of extension services, changes in planting time, the use of fertilizers, the selection of resistant varieties, the clearing of ground cover, the formation of farmer groups to share knowledge, business diversification, the use of more efficient irrigation technology, the application of agroforestry, and the adoption of crop insurance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) How the Productivity Level of Corn Farming Using Bisi-2Seeds in Marobea Village, Sawerigadi District, West Muna Regency (2) How the Income of Corn Farming Using Bisi-2 Seeds in Marobea Village, Sawerigadi District, West Muna Regency. The determination of the location of this research was chosen deliberately (purposive). The data collected in this study is by using primary data obtained from the results of direct interviews with farmers using a list of questions/questionnaires and secondary data that have been processed and obtained from agencies related to various sources of literature, journals, books, and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) or from related parties. The sampling method was carried out using a proportional stratified withdrawal method from each element of the population that was sampled and sampling was carried out randomly (Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling), with a total of 35 farmers. The data analysis used in this study is productivity and income analysis. Results of the study (1) The average productivity of bisi-2 corn in Marobea Village, Sawerigadi District, West Muna Regency is 2,610 kg/ha/planting season. Meanwhile, the average local corn productivity is 991 kg/ha/planting season (2) The average total income of corn farming using bisi-2 seeds in Marobea Village, Sawerigadi District, West Muna Regency is Rp6,503,082/planting season. Meanwhile, the average income of local corn farming obtained was Rp399,333/planting season (3) The productivity and income of bisi-2 corn and local corn farming in Marobea Village, Sawerigadi District, West Muna Regency showed a difference of .000 < 0.05 so that there was a difference between the productivity and income of bisi-2 and local corn.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the viewing skills of the children's drama performance "Malin Kundang," performed by 5th and 6th-grade students of SDIT Tunas Cendekia through a video uploaded on the YouTube platform. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, assessing various aspects of the drama performance, namely expression and emotion, lip synchronization, role immersion, cooperation among actors, as well as stage and property utilization. The results show that most of the actors have been able to deliver good performances, especially in the aspects of role immersion and property utilization. However, some shortcomings were still found, such as less harmonious cooperation among actors and insufficient depth of expression in some actors. The analysis also indicates that understanding the character and collaboration among actors play an important role in improving the quality of the performance. With more intensive guidance and training, it is expected that the quality of children's drama performances can be improved comprehensively. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective drama-based learning strategies and to enhance elementary school students' drama viewing skills through visual media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer satisfaction with the quality of UD Mete Mubaraq Lombe service in Kendari City. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling in the form of accidental sampling. The number of samples taken in this study was 38 people. The data analysis used to answer the problems in this study uses the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. Importance Performance Analysis is the most commonly used method to measure consumer satisfaction levels because it has several advantages compared to other methods. Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the financial feasibility of Tiga Putra Farm oyster mushroom farming in Anduonohu Village, Poasia District, Kendari City and (2) determine the sensitivity of the financial feasibility of Tiga Putra Farm oyster mushroom cultivation in Anduonohu Village, Poasia District, Kendari City. This research uses a case study method in the Tiga Putra Farm oyster mushroom cultivation in Anduonohu Village, Poasia District, Kendari City with the business owner being the informant in the study. The results showed that the financial aspect obtained an NPV value of Rp 37,525,391.33 with a discount factor rate of 14%, Net B/C of 3.37 and an IRR value of 55.89% and a Payback Period is 2.0 or 3 years and 3 months. This business is declared financially feasible. In addition, based on the calculation of sensitivity analysis carried out in three simulations, the business is still feasible to run even though in the first simulation, there was a decrease in oyster mushroom production by 7.45% and in the second simulation, an increase in operating costs by 6.16% and in the third simulation, for the condition of decreasing oyster mushroom production by 7.45% and increasing operating costs by 6.16% simultaneously, Tiga Putra Farm's oyster mushroom farming is still feasible to run.

Abstract

This research aims to determine socio-economic and analyze the fulfillment of the food patterns of low-income people in Korumba Village. This research was carried out from May to July 2024. The subjects of this research were the people of Korumba Village, focused on people who have low income using descriptive analysis and PPH Expected Food Pattern score. The results of the first research are the socio-economic characteristics that influence food fulfillment including age with an average of 42.7, level of education with an average of 7.6, number of members with an average of 3.7, and jobs dominated by agricultural commodity traders. Secondly, the consumption patterns of low-income people living in dominated by the staple food group as a source of carbohydrates in the form of grains at 86.4%. peoples consumption patterns have also not been diversified, this can be seen from the PPH score of 55.9%, which is still far from the ideal score of 100

Abstract

Developing critical thinking skills in the science learning process, students are expected to have an active attitude in identifying science problems. The aim of this research is to develop learning activities on critical thinking skills in solving students' science problems. This research uses the SLR method which is carried out by: (1) identification; (2) assess; (3) interpret all existing research evidence by studying indicators; and (4) how to bring out students' critical thinking skills in science as a research object. So that this understanding can be used to solve problems and make decisions for the progress of human civilization. The conclusions in this research are: (1) differences in indicators used to measure students' critical thinking abilities; (2) differences in aspects of interpretation indicators; (3) use of PBL; and (4) STEAM approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine income and the factors that influence the income of oil palm farmers in Lambandia Village, Bassalah District, South Konawe Regency. The population in this study were all oil palm farmers in Lambandia Village, Basala District, South Konawe Regency, totaling 22 people, using the census technique, 22 respondents were obtained as the research sample. Data analysis used income analysis and multiple linear regression analysis where the data has been transformed into logarithmic form. The results showed that the income of oil palm farmers in Lambandia Village, Basala District, South Konawe Regency averaged IDR 42,985,442/year. Production costs (X3) have a negative effect on the income of oil palm farmers, while land area (X1) and price (X4) have a positive and significant influence on the income of oil palm farmers in Lambandia Village, Basala District, South Konawe Regency.
