Abstract

The majority of Indonesia's tourism sites manage waste improperly and in violation of the law. In tourism sites, the 3R principle has not been fully adopted. Tourism sites that have embraced the 3R concept have seen a higher number of tourists than those that have not, according to the correlation study results. The 3R concept of waste management is still mostly absent from Indonesia's tourism industries, which contributes to less tourists. Following years of research, only a small number of Indonesian tourism-related sectors have successfully applied the 3R approach.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and company reputation in state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The research analyzes how PT Bukit Asam Tbk Tarahan utilizes CSR as a strategy to enhance company performance, build its reputation, and strengthen customer trust. Primary data was collected from 39 middle and low-level management employees at PT Bukit Asam Tbk Tarahan, Bandar Lampung, using a Google Forms-based questionnaire measured on a Likert Scale. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method to test the direct and indirect effects between the independent variable (CSR), the dependent variable (Performance), and the intervening variable (Reputation). The results indicate that CSR has a positive and significant impact on reputation, which in turn positively affects company performance. However, CSR does not have a direct significant impact on company performance. Instead, CSR contributes positively to performance through the enhancement of the company's reputation. This suggests that CSR initiatives are more effective in improving the company’s standing in the community rather than directly boosting company performance. The study concludes that a strong reputation, bolstered by CSR, provides a competitive advantage and enhances stakeholder trust, ultimately contributing to improved company performance.

Abstract

The study explored the impact of channel integration and customer data utilization on customer satisfaction in an omni-channel marketing strategy. Using a simple random sampling method with 98 respondents from a variety of demographics, the results of the analysis showed that channel integrations and client data exploitation have a complex influence on customer experience and satisfaction. Although channel integrating and user exploitation of customer data are important, they are not statistically significant for customer satisfactions. Other factors like product quality, personalization, and direct interaction were more influential. Consistent, comfortable, responsive, and satisfying customer experiences have proven to enhance loyalty and satisfaction. The research highlights the importance of periodic customer satisfaction evaluation to identify areas of improvement and adjust strategies to improve overall satisfaction. These findings make a significant contribution to the development of the theory and practical applications for optimal omni-channel strategies.
