Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style and transactional leadership style on extra-role behavior or often called Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the Regional Government Secretariat of Karimun Regency. Extra role behavior performed by civil servants cannot be separated from the patterns and abilities of each employee's character. This character can be called the work culture of each of these employees. Are the two leadership styles namely the Transformational leadership style, Transactional leadership and Charismatic leadership can increase extra-role behavior or often called Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) where work culture is an intervening variable. This research was conducted at the Secretariat of the Regional Government of Karimun Regency, Riau Islands. The population in this study was 50 employees. By using the census method where the number of research samples will be taken as a whole from members of the population. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).

Abstract

Kegiatan ini merupakan kerjasama Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Universitas Ibnu Sina dengan Mitra Baru Food. Mitra Baru Food adalah Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) yang ada di Kota Batam yang memproduksi keripik singkong. Selama ini penjualan yang dilakukan oleh Mitra Baru Food yaitu penjualan secara tradisional. Kendala utama yang dirasakan oleh Mitra Baru Food adalah sulitnya pemasaran produk, sebagai tindak lanjut dari permasalahan tersebut, memerlukan inisiatif pengabdian masyarakat dengan pelatihan pemasaran digital. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan penghasilan Mitra Baru Food dengan meningkatkan keterampilan dan manajemen bisnis melalui pemasaran digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam layanan ini meliputi tahap observasi, tahap pelatihan sosial, dan tahap monitoring dan evaluasi. Sebagai hasil dari pelatihan ini, Mitra Baru Food dapat menggunakan pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan mengembangkan bisnis yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberitahukan kepada Pelajar SMK AL Jabar Batam, pentingnya meningkatkan kualitas SDM, dalam menghadapi dunia kerja, dan tantangan apa saja yang dihadapi dalam dunia kerja, sehingga pelajar bisa lebih mengenal potensi diri yang dimiliki. Kegitan ini dilakukan hasil Kerjasama MOU dan MoA antara Universitas ibnu sina dengan Sekolah Al Jabar Bengkong kota Batam. Sehingga bentuk Implikasi dari hasil Kerjasama dituangkan dengan  kegitatan pengabdian, Alasannya lebih fokus kepada Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) hal ini yang sangat penting dikarenakan tinggi jumlah angka pencari kerja dikota batam, yang mana lulusan SMK/SMA yang paling dominan. Sehingga tidak dapat dipisahkan dari tujuan  meningkatkan SDM untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi, baik berupa Instansi Pemerintah, Akademik, perusahaan maupun industri. Semoga dengan pelaksanaan yang telah dilakukan bisa memberikan Semangat kepada para pelajar dalam menhadapi persaingan Global yang di hadapi setelah lulus dari sekolah. Juga kepada para guru-guru untuk dapat selalu meningkatkan Kulaitas SDM. Supaya para Guru dapat mengimplementasikan PEKA di pembelajaran.

Abstract

The study explored the impact of channel integration and customer data utilization on customer satisfaction in an omni-channel marketing strategy. Using a simple random sampling method with 98 respondents from a variety of demographics, the results of the analysis showed that channel integrations and client data exploitation have a complex influence on customer experience and satisfaction. Although channel integrating and user exploitation of customer data are important, they are not statistically significant for customer satisfactions. Other factors like product quality, personalization, and direct interaction were more influential. Consistent, comfortable, responsive, and satisfying customer experiences have proven to enhance loyalty and satisfaction. The research highlights the importance of periodic customer satisfaction evaluation to identify areas of improvement and adjust strategies to improve overall satisfaction. These findings make a significant contribution to the development of the theory and practical applications for optimal omni-channel strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of clarity of value and consistency dimensions on value-based leadership (VBL) in Karimun Regency. The research method used is a survey using questionnaires as a data collection instrument. The respondents in this study were employees of Karimun Regency who were randomly selected. The results showed that value clarity had a positive influence on VBL, although not significantly. Meanwhile, consistency has an insignificant positive influence on VBL. Suggestions that can be made to increase clarity of values and build an organizational culture conducive to implementing VBL include improving communication, education, training, performance appraisal, and examples from organizational leaders and managers. By implementing these suggestions, it is expected that the organization can create a work environment that is based on strong values and strengthens the commitment of organizational members to organizational goals.

Abstract

This study explores the synergy between management Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) as the key to success in creating a safe, productive, and sustainable work environment in the modern era. In the face of technological challenges and the complexity of the work environment, the integration of OHS principles into a company's management strategy is crucial. Although many organizations have implemented OHS programs, they are often seen as a separate function, resulting in high rates of occupational accidents and illnesses. This study identifies effective strategies to synergize management and OHS, including the use of modern technology and the development of a comprehensive safety culture. Thus, this research provides valuable insights in improving occupational safety, operational efficiency, and business sustainability in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas potensi perikanan di Pulau Pengapit, Kelurahan Galang Baru, Kecamatan Galang, serta tantangan yang dihadapi kelompok nelayan akibat struktur organisasi yang lemah dan tujuan yang tidak jelas. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kemandirian nelayan dalam mengelola sumber daya, strategi jangka panjang, dan akses pelatihan serta bantuan. Pendekatan campuran digunakan, menggabungkan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif, seperti observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terarah, dan survei kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hambatan signifikan seperti akses terbatas ke sumber daya, informasi pasar, dan keterampilan manajerial. Struktur organisasi yang kurang jelas menyebabkan ketidakefisienan dan konflik internal. Penelitian menyoroti pentingnya pelatihan komprehensif, kerangka organisasi yang kuat, akses permodalan yang lebih baik, dan adopsi teknologi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Disarankan mendirikan koperasi nelayan dan bermitra dengan lembaga riset serta universitas untuk praktik perikanan berkelanjutan dan ketahanan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya struktur organisasi yang kuat dan tujuan yang jelas dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan kesejahteraan nelayan di Pulau Pengapit. Rekomendasi mencakup intervensi praktis, pengembangan teori komunikasi organisasi, dan arah penelitian lanjutan untuk mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan komunitas nelayan.

Abstract

Appropriate leadership will greatly affect happiness at Work, which will later affect the expected performance. This study used quantitative methods and measuring instruments using questionnaires distributed to respondents. The population in this study totaled 108 civil servants at the Regional Secretariat of the Karimun Regency Government. Meanwhile, in determining the number of samples in this study, the Slovin method was used to obtain a sample size of 85 employees who were used as respondents. The analysis test tool in this study was Smart-PLS software version 3.0 and IBM SPSS software version 26.0. They were supported using VOSviewer software to map the variables considered in this study. The results of this study indicate that Spiritual Leadership obtained insignificant negative results for Happiness at Work, while Transformational Leadership obtained significant positive results for Happiness at Work. As for Relevant Predictive, a value of 0.520 is obtained where this value is above zero, meaning that the observation value is good. As for the Fit Model, an NFI value of 0.669 was obtained, where this value was above zero, meaning that the model in this study was good.

Abstract

Research at the Regional Public Works Organisation of the Regional Government of Karimun Regency is being conducted with the aim of gaining a better understanding of the effects of workplace communication and conditions on employee performance. This research is a quantitative study with statistical analysis using the multiple linear regression approach. It includes a validity test, a reliability test, and the usual assumption test. Using the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software, the research obtained partial calculation results (t-test) for the work environment variable (X1) with a value of 5,265 and a significance level of 0.000, and for the communication variable with a value of 6,209 and a significance level of 0.000. The researcher found a value of 315,233 with a 95% degree of confidence using the results of the simultaneous test (Test F). This research found that, first, the workplace does have an effect on employee performance, and second, communication does as well, but to a lesser extent. The Public Works OPD of the Karimun Regency Regional Government wants the communication variable (X2) and the work environment variable (X1) to have a substantial impact on the staff performance variables (Y). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Orientasi Karir, Dukungan Supervisor, Efikasi Diri, dan Komitmen Organisasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di PT DSAW. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan mengingat adanya indikasi bahwa kurangnya kejelasan orientasi karir, dukungan yang tidak merata dari supervisor, rendahnya efikasi diri, dan komitmen organisasi yang lemah berkontribusi pada kinerja yang belum optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat faktor tersebut memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan Orientasi Karir dan Dukungan Supervisor sebagai faktor dominan yang meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas output, serta efisiensi kerja karyawan. Sementara itu, Efikasi Diri dan Komitmen Organisasi juga berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan karyawan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan kebijakan yang jelas mengenai orientasi karir, peningkatan dukungan supervisor, pengembangan efikasi diri, dan penguatan komitmen organisasi dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, serta mengurangi tingkat turnover dan absensi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar bagi PT DSAW dalam merancang kebijakan yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di masa mendatang.
