Abstract

Live-streaming marketing via social media has attracted the attention of digital retail marketers in recent years. However, there is still a lack of evidence to understand the effect of in-store live-streaming on offline purchase intentions. This study aims to determine the effect of environmental stimuli on consumers' intention to purchase offline in-store after watching a live-streaming session in-store. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was by distributing online questionnaires to 300 respondents using Google Form. The sampling technique used a non-probability sampling technique using the convenience sampling method which was then processed using structural equation modeling SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) using the PLS program. This study found that informativeness had a significant positive effect on consumers' attitude towards in-store influencers, attractiveness had a significant positive effect on consumers' attitude towards in-store influencers, wishful identification had a significant positive effect on consumers' attitude towards in-store influencers, parasocial interaction had a significant positive effect on consumers' attitude towards in-store influencers, and interactivity had a significant positive effect on consumers' attitude towards in-store influencers. Abstract

The prevailing paradigm today emphasizes economic growth measured through human development rather than solely through per capita income. Enhancing welfare and improving the quality of life for communities are the ultimate goals of economic development. Achieving these objectives requires substantial efforts that avoid bias related to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, and class. However, in practice, these efforts often overlook issues of equality and justice, reflected in the differing roles of men and women as both agents and beneficiaries of development. This study aims to investigate the impact of average years of schooling, average wages, and labor force participation rates on the Gender Development Index across 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2013 to 2022. The analysis methods employed include model fit testing, classical assumption testing, panel data linear regression, partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test) hypothesis testing, as well as coefficient determination using Eviews. The findings reveal that average years of schooling and average wages have a positive and significant effect on the Gender Development Index, while labor force participation rates do not significantly impact the Gender Development Index.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) on the increase of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in ASEAN member countries. The main focus of this study is on key variables including foreign direct investment, import-export ratio, labor productivity, and government debt. The AEC, which came into effect at the end of 2015, is expected to strengthen economic integration in the region by facilitating the flow of goods, services, and investment. The method used in this study is regression analysis to identify the relationship between these variables and GDP during the post-MEA period (2016-2022). The results of the analysis show that foreign direct investment and labor productivity have a significant positive influence on the increase of GDP in ASEAN countries. On the other hand, the import-export ratio shows a negative impact that needs to be watched closely, while government debt does not show a significant effect in this context. The findings provide important insights for policymakers in formulating more effective economic strategies to maximize the benefits of the AEC, as well as addressing the challenges posed by instability in trade ratios and debt management.
