Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of diversification and business risk on the financial performance of various industrial sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2019-2022 period using the Path Analysis model. The variables studied were the Herfindahl Index, Return On Assets, and Business Risk. The main data of this research comes from secondary data. The sampling method used purposive sampling method. The results state that diversification affects financial performance, business risk affects financial performance, diversification does not affect business risk, and business risk does not serve as a mediator in the relationship between diversification and financial performance.

Abstract

Agricultural development requires dynamic agriculture or agriculture that incorporates new technologies. The development of technology can take the form of methods, changes in crop types, changes in inputs, as well as changes in the agricultural tools used in the agricultural production process. The sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation with a sample size of 10 people. The data analysis method employed is descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that based on the Likert scale test on the utilization of small hand tractor mechanization in agriculture, with an average score of 94.2%, this shows it is very beneficial for farmers in Sanglepongan Village. The role of mechanization tools such as hand tractors in the agricultural cultivation process in Sanglepongan village demonstrates that they are very important and bring various significant benefits to farmers and the agricultural community. Here are some key roles of small hand tractors in agriculture in Sanglepongan Village, namely in land preparation, reducing physical workload, increasing crop productivity, saving time and costs, modernizing agriculture, reducing dependence on labor, and facing weather and seasonal challenges. The impact of using small hand tractors on increasing farmers' production in Sanglepongan village shows that this positive effect is evident not only in the increase in the quantity of harvests but also in the improvement of quality and sustainability of farming practices, timely planting, and a reduction in manual labor.

Abstract

The demand in both the domestic and international markets for chili commodities in the future is expected to increase along with the rising population and income levels, which can impact the income of chili farming and ultimately affect household income. This research aims to analyze the impact of planting bird's eye chili on the rice field bunds on the household income of farmers. This study employs a quantitative method to understand whether and how the additional income from bird's eye chili can enhance the total income of farmers' households. The results of this study indicate that planting bird's eye chili can provide an additional source of income for farmers, thereby increasing their total income. The research results show that the average profit received by chili farming on the rice field embankments is Rp. 1,080,000 per year. Based on the business feasibility calculations, the R/C ratio obtained is 3.9. It can be concluded that chili farming in the rice fields of Benteng Village, Patampanua District, Pinrang Regency is feasible for development.

Abstract

In Indonesia, tobacco, main commodities of cigarette industry, has a contradictory position. It came with health issues, but on the other side it made big contributions in revenues for the country. This research aimed to analyze the market structure and competitiveness of Indonesian unmanufactured tobacco in the international market. The secondary data collected by time series from 2005 to 2020, and analyzed through Concentration Ratio (CR), Herfindahl Hirchman Index (HHI), Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), and Trade Specialization Index (TSI). The results showed that unmanufactured tobacco commodities indicated the features of monopolistic market structure (CR = 34.03%; HHI = 492.00). By RCA, Indonesia considered possessed a strong competitiveness as tobacco exporter (RCA1 = 3.03; RCA2 = 1.19; RCA3 = 1.40). But on the contrary, by TSI, Indonesia was still in the import substitution stage (TSI1 = -0.10; TSI2 = -0.57; TSI3 = -0.30), indicating low level of competitiveness. Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the integration of Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence and Role Stress on auditor performance with Spiritual Intelligence and Religiousness as moderating variables at the Inspectorate in Riau Province. The population in this study were all auditors at the Inspectorate in Riau Province. The data analysis model for sample selection was by convenience sampling, so that the total sample filling out the questionnaire for this study was 117 respondents. The data analysis method used Partial Least Squares with WarpPLS 7.0 software to test the integration of the influence of Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence and Role Stress on Auditor Performance with Spiritual Intelligence and Religiousness as moderating variables. The results of this study indicate that the Intellectual Intelligence variable has a positive effect on Auditor Performance; The Emotional Intelligence variable has a negative effect on Auditor Performance and the Role Stress variable has a positive and significant effect on Auditor Performance. Spiritual Intelligence moderates the influence of Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence and Role Stress on Auditor Performance and Religiousness moderates the influence of Emotional Intelligence and Role Stress on Auditor Performance and does not moderate the influence of Intellectual Intelligence on Auditor Performance.

Abstract

The quality of financial report disclosure refers to the extent to which financial information is presented in a timely, transparent, accurate, and complete manner to meet the needs of stakeholders, including investors, regulatory authorities, and the public. Empirical studies show that the effectiveness of internal audits, audit committees, and boards of commissioners plays a crucial role in determining the quality of financial report disclosure. This is particularly relevant in the context of banking companies, which face challenges related to regulations, transaction complexity, and public trust. This research used data from 47 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2021-2023. The research method employed multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that the number of internal audit members, audit committee members, and board of commissioner members has a significant impact on the quality of financial reports, as reflected in the number of pages in the annual report.

Abstract

Buper Segorogunung Ecotourism is located in the protected forest area of Mount Lawu Utara, Karanganyar, Central Java. This ecotourism offers various outdoor activities, such as camping, jeep tours, and outbound. Despite having great natural potential, this ecotourism is still classified as a pioneering destination with a relatively low level of visits. One of the main causes is the less than optimal use of social media marketing. This study adopted a qualitative approach to obtain data directly from sources related to the use of social media marketing to increase awareness of the Segorogunung Camping Ground ecotourism location owned by Perum Perhutani KPH Surakarta. Based on observations and interviews, it is known that the Segorogunung Camping Ground manager has implemented a promotional strategy by utilizing social media that is active on the Tiktok and Instagram platforms. However, the Segorogunung Camping Ground manager has not been able to maximize this promotional strategy in building awareness of the ecotourism location. In addition to using social media, the manager collaborates with travel agents and communities to expand its target market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of work-life balance on employee performance in the mining sector, focusing on the Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) company. This study uses a qualitative approach with an in-depth interview method with eight purposively selected informants, consisting of productive employees aged 20 to 60 years. The results of the study indicate that work-life balance has a significant influence on physical and mental well-being, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and employee productivity. Factors such as age, worship, hobbies, gender, and healthy lifestyles play an important role in maintaining this balance. The implication of this study is the importance of companies implementing flexible and inclusive policies to support work-life balance, which can ultimately improve employee performance and reduce the risk of burnout and stress in a challenging work environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether digital and financial literacy affects the performance of MSMEs in fashion thrifting companies in Makassar City. This research was conducted on a fashion thrift store in Makassar City. A quantitative research methodology is used in this study. The object of his research is MSMEs thrifting enterprises in Makassar City. The sampling strategy combines purposive sampling techniques with simple random sampling, with the criteria of MSMEs that have utilized recording applications in their operations, are still actively operating in the year of research, and use social media as a means of promotion. Data collection techniques include surveys, interviews, recordings, and observations. 100 MSMEs that have adopted digital applications received questionnaires. The t-test, the F-test, the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, and the Classical Assumption Test are all used in the data analysis technique. The findings of the study show that although digital literacy has a large impact on the success of MSMEs in fashion thrifting companies in Makassar City, financial literacy does not have a real impact on the performance of the business.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze business communication strategies in the marketing system implemented by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by utilizing digital marketing technology. Through a qualitative approach, the study collected data from a variety of sources, including in-depth interviews with MSME actors, analysis of social media content, and online surveys. The results of the study show that the use of effective digital marketing strategies, such as social media marketing, and email marketing, can increase customer visibility and engagement. In addition, collaboration with influencers and the use of data analytics are key in understanding consumer behavior and improving customer experience. This study concludes that the integration of the right business communication strategy through digital marketing technology can have a significant positive impact on the growth and sustainability of MSMEs.
