Abstract

his study aims to analyze the impact of Work Stress and Work Conflict on Employee Performance at the Regional Mental Hospital of Lampung Province. Existing research on work-related stress and conflict in healthcare settings has highlighted their potential adverse effects on performance, but limited studies focus on mental health institutions in this region. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data collected from 76 respondents using convenience sampling and the Slovin formula. Data analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression, revealing that Work Stress and Work Conflict explain 51.5% of the variation in Employee Performance, as indicated by an R-squared value of 0.515. The remaining 48.5% of Employee Performance is influenced by other unexamined factors such as workload, commitment, and compensation. The findings demonstrate that Work Stress and Work Conflict significantly affect Employee Performance, contributing novel insights into the factors influencing employee outcomes in mental health hospitals and offering a better understanding of how these elements can be managed to enhance performance.

Abstract

Rice trading and milling are essential parts of the agribusiness system that support food security in various countries, particularly in agrarian regions like Indonesia. The rice milling process is a critical stage in the supply chain, where harvested paddy is processed into ready-to-consume rice. This study aims to analyze the business processes, supply chain, and challenges faced in the rice milling and distribution industry.The report aims to evaluate and develop the business operations of rice milling and rice trading in terms of sales and income to enhance the company's business programs for better growth in the highly competitive market of today. Market competition is fierce nowadays, and marketing aspects need to be improved to compete in the market. Expanding outreach with other companies is also prioritized in this business development to establish partnerships. An effective distribution system is key to ensuring the availability and affordability of rice for consumers. Proposed recommendations include the modernization of milling equipment, strengthening partnerships between farmers and entrepreneurs, and developing government policies that support market stability. These efforts are expected to enable the rice milling and trading sector to contribute more significantly to national food security.

Abstract

The increasing demand for timber due to population growth and technological advancements presents both opportunities and challenges for timber processing businesses. This study examines the development strategies of Sumil Kayu PK. Putra Bakung, a timber processing company in Jati Agung, Lampung Selatan, through SWOT analysis. The research aims to identify internal strengths and weaknesses as well as external opportunities and threats to formulate strategic recommendations. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the study explores ways to enhance product quality, expand market reach, and adopt sustainable practices. The findings highlight key strategies to optimize business operations and improve competitive positioning (Afridhal, 2017).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Instagram social media, product quality, price perception on purchasing decisions with brand image as an intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative approach, this research is included in causal quantitative research. The population in this study were followers of the @handmadeshhoessby Instragram account which amounted to 908,000 followers. Based on calculations, the sample in this study was rounded up to 400 followers of the @handmadeshhoessby Instragram account. The sampling technique in this study used probability sampling techniques. The results of this study are Instagram social media exposure has an effect on purchasing decisions, product quality has an effect on purchasing decisions, price perception has an effect on purchasing decisions, Instagram social media exposure has an effect on brand image, product quality has an effect on brand image, price perspective has an effect on brand image, brand image has an effect on purchasing decisions, brand image can mediate the effect of Instagram social media exposure on purchasing decisions, brand image can mediate the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions, brand image can mediate the effect of price perception on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Work performance is a crucial aspect in supporting the improvement of educational standards in schools, especially for teachers As the central force in the learning process. Two aspects that have an impact on teacher work performance are job training and work motivation. This study seeks to examine the connection between job training and work motivation on teacher performance at Bandar Lampung Main Vocational School. A quantitative approach utilizing multiple linear regression analysis was applied. The population consists of all Bandar Lampung Primary Vocational School teachers, with a sample of 30 teachers selected by implementing purposive sampling techniques. Questionnaires were distributed to respondents, then analyzed using data quality testing and hypothesis testing methods. The results of the analysis explain that job training and work motivation simultaneously influence teacher work performance. Between these two variables, job training makes a greater contribution, although both complement each other in supporting performance improvement. Providing suggestions to schools to strengthen relevant job training programs and improve strategies to motivate teachers, in order to create a quality learning environment and support educational achievement the optimal one.

Abstract

Evaluation of information technology with the internet in this digital era has now had an important impact at sundry vacet of exsistence, suchlike as the business sector. One of the most obvious impacts is the transformation in the way companies market their products and services through digital platforms, known as digital marketing. Apart from technological developments, lifestyle trends are also changing, one of which is the increasing popularity of thrifting or buying quality used goods. This study intend for analyse the effect digital marketing and product quality in thrifting purchase decisions at Toko Loka Lampung. Digital marketing as an independent variable includes social media, online promotions, and digital interactions, while product quality is measured through indicators of durability, design, and product conformity with consumer expectations. The purchasing decision which is the dependent variable are reviewed based on the desire to buy, frequency of purchase, and post-purchase satisfaction. This study utilize a quantitative method by an associative approach and the sample taken utilize a purposive sampling technique, consisting of Toko Loka Lampung consumers who have made purchases. Data was be gathered via questionnaires and analyzed utilize multiple linear regression. The results of this study are that X1 and X2 have an influence on Y.

Abstract

The influence of self-actualization needs, appreciation and social needs in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Rantauprapat plantation by using a quantitative research method with data analysis techniques using the SPPS for windows application with questionnaire data distributed by 57 people at the university, obtained from the results of the study it was seen that the independent variables, namely Self-Actualization, Appreciation and Social Needs, had a ttable > ttable value of (0.776 > 0.679); (2,177 > 0.679) ; ( 1.791 > 0.679) with probability values of 0.441, 0.34, 0.79 > 0.05, then the Ha hypothesis is rejected which means that partially the variables Self-Actualization, Reward and Social Needs have a positive and significant effect on Work Performance.

Abstract

The swallow nest business in Parigi Moutong Regency has only started to develop in the last ten years. Although still relatively new, this area has become one of the export centers for swallow's nest commodities in Central Sulawesi. This study aims to analyze the structure, behavior, and performance of the swallow's nest market in Parigi Moutong Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis using survey method. The data taken were primary data through direct interviews with the help of questionnaires and observations. Secondary data were obtained from literature. The results showed that the swallow nest market structure formed at the entrepreneur level is perfect competition. The market structure formed at the level of village traders and large traders is monopolistic. Swallow nest entrepreneurs sell their crops to village traders and large traders. Prices are determined by traders based on quality, quantity, and market conditions. However, entrepreneurs often have limited market information, resulting in a weak bargaining position. Village traders and large traders have better access to market price information, making them the price setters for entrepreneurs. The selling price of swallow's nest varies, with entrepreneurs selling to village traders at around IDR 6,000,000 per kilogram, while large traders offer prices between IDR 8,000,000 and IDR 9,000,000 per kilogram. The marketing function involves entrepreneurs, village traders, and wholesalers, each with a role in distribution and pricing. Marketing channel I, where entrepreneurs sell directly to large traders, provides higher prices than marketing channel II, which involves village traders as intermediaries.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of service quality and timeliness on customer loyalty in the context of J&T Express services in Surabaya. Employing a quantitative approach and survey method, data were collected from 96 respondents through electronically distributed questionnaires. The analysis included validity and reliability tests, linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using t-tests and F-tests. The findings indicate a significant positive influence of service quality and timeliness on customer loyalty. Specifically, service quality was found to play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction, which in turn fosters loyalty. Additionally, the research underscores the need for J&T Express to improve service responsiveness and delivery accuracy to retain existing customers and attract new ones. This study contributes to understanding consumer behaviour in the logistics industry and provides actionable insights for improving service quality in similar service organisations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the application of SERVQUAL in improving customer satisfaction and loyalty in the context of B2B services at PT. Migas Mandiri Pratama Hilir. The object of this study is the fuel transportation service provided by the company. The study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and observations. The sample consists of 20 respondents who are clients of the company. The results of the study indicate that dimensions of service quality, such as reliability and responsiveness, play a significant role in creating customer satisfaction and loyalty. Despite operational challenges, such as losses during shipping and poor road conditions, strong relationships with customers and on-time delivery strengthen loyalty. The managerial implications of this study are the importance of improving service quality and communication to maintain customer loyalty.
