Abstract

The National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of OKU Regency is an institution that collects, manages and distributes zakat. One of the weaknesses of this institution is the practice that is still less than optimal and the very minimal impact felt by the underprivileged community. So that the number of poor people is getting higher, and there is a system that is less organized and orderly in the distribution of zakat, infaq and alms. The solution and way out is to foster the spirit of OKU Muslims to entrust their zakat to BAZNAS OKU. The target of this institution is to provide assistance to the underprivileged and deserving of zakat to meet their needs or provide capital for businesses that the person wants to start. However, it is not uncommon to find that the management of BAZNAS is not as it should be and is detrimental to many people, due to inappropriate and inappropriate practices. This study intends to analyze how to collect, manage, and empower productive zakat through BAZNAS with a new system and innovation, so as to get differences between the previous and current methods. In this study, the method used is qualitative research by collecting several data based on references from journals and reports from the BAZNAZ OKU institution. The results of this study indicate that the collection of productive zakat at BAZNAS OKU has fluctuated in the last three years, 2022-2024, corporate zakat is the main source of zakat funds, while individual zakat is still very low, the zakat management system still faces challenges in transparency and distribution effectiveness, there are weaknesses in the data collection of mustahik and the distribution of zakat evenly, minimal innovation in the use of digital technology to support the zakat management system, productive zakat is partly used to provide business capital to mustahik. However, the number of zakat recipients from the poor is still low compared to the number of poor people in OKU, lack of training programs and business assistance for mustahik who receive productive zakat

Abstract

Internal control of accounts receivable is a process designed and implemented by a company to ensure that receivables can be collected and received on time. If the payment of receivables is not received within the stipulated time, it can impact the company's financial condition. JIH Hospital faces challenges in managing receivables as it provides payment options through third parties, namely insurance companies. The payment mechanism by insurance companies is carried out within a certain period after healthcare services are provided or after patients are discharged following treatment. Therefore, JIH Hospital needs to apply effective receivables control to minimize the risk of prolonged payment delays and to avoid the potential for uncollectible receivables. This study aims to examine how internal control over receivables is implemented at JIH Hospital and to assess the quality of the receivables collection process. The research uses a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews with individuals directly involved in the collection process. The analysis is based on the COSO framework, which consists of five main components: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring. The results indicate that internal control at JIH Hospital has been effectively applied through the categorization of receivables using an aging schedule and strict supervision in the collection process. However, several weaknesses were identified, such as limited flexibility in handling special cases and restricted access to information in certain work areas. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the internal control applied is quite effective but needs to be improved by enhancing communication systems, conducting regular monitoring, and implementing more adaptive policies in managing problematic receivables.

The extent to which quality control in PT. Sawit Inti Raya's production is assessed in this study, the Seven Quality Control method is used. The data used in this study came from rejected products from February, March, and April 2024. At PT. Sawit Inti Raya, the highest level of defective products was caused by environmental conditions, overripe and damaged fruit bunches, and pests. The results of the study indicate that the most important improvements must be made. First, farmers must be trained in the correct FFB harvesting techniques, use monitoring tools, conduct regular inspections and use of pesticides, and monitor and adjust harvesting methods.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of Dynamic Archiving Information System (SIKD) at PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (PT JIEP) to improve operational effectiveness. SIKD replaces manual methods in archive management, thereby accelerating document searches, improving data security, and reducing paper use. This study uses a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and fishbone diagram analysis. The results of the study indicate that Dynamic Archiving Information System (SIKD) improves time efficiency, employee productivity, and transparency and accountability of company operations. However, there are obstacles such as dependence on internet connection and lack of employee training. Other technical obstacles include limited document re-registration features (backdate) and suboptimal system capacity. To improve the effectiveness of SIKD, it is recommended to improve technology infrastructure, continuous training, and update features to make them more user-friendly. With these steps, SIKD can be more optimal in supporting PT JIEP's operations.
