Abstract

This research aims to develop digital learning media oriented towards internalizing the value of religious moderation for early childhood in Wonosobo Regency. In the context of early childhood education (PAUD), religious moderation is an important aspect to form an attitude of tolerance, respect for differences, and instill the values of togetherness from an early age. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires involving PAUD educators, education experts, and parents of students. The results showed that the digital learning media developed was able to improve children's understanding of the concept of religious moderation through an interactive, visual, and educational game-based approach. The implementation of this media in several PAUD institutions in Wonosobo received positive responses from educators and parents, who considered that the media was effective in helping children understand the values of togetherness, tolerance, and mutual respect in diversity. This research recommends the integration of digital media based on religious moderation in the PAUD curriculum as well as training for educators to optimize its use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a review of students' abilities in solving mathematical story problems from a gender perspective. The indicators of students' abilities in solving story problems used are the ability to record known information; the ability to record sought information; the ability to create mathematical models; the ability to solve mathematical models; and the ability to answer questions asked. The method used is quantitative through a cross-sectional survey. The subjects in this study were 23 third-grade students in the 2024/2025 academic year at MI Miftakhul Huda Temanggung. The results showed that female students' ability to solve math word problems was higher than that of male students, with an average difference of 7%. Although superior in recording the information sought and creating mathematical models, female students showed lower ability in solving mathematical models systematically and providing correct answers compared to male students. Meanwhile, in recording known information, both groups showed equal ability.

Abstract

This study describes the English lecturer’s preparation in teaching the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) to students of the Economic and Business Study Program at ITB AAS Indonesia. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, the research focuses on one English lecturer, with data collected through documentation analysis of institutional instructional materials. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that TOEIC instruction is systematically designed and implemented over 14 meetings, covering two main sections: Listening and Reading. The Listening section aims to develop students’ test-taking strategies for Parts 1 to 4, while the Reading section focuses on strategies for Parts 5 to 7. The lecturer structures the early meetings around Listening Comprehension, including photographs, questions and responses, short conversations, and talks, followed by sessions on tips, review, and practice. Subsequent meetings emphasize Reading Comprehension, addressing incomplete sentences, text completion, and single and multiple passages, also supported by tips, review, and practice activities. In addition, TOEIC preparation is strengthened through guided independent learning using online resources such as the official ETS website, Exam English, and Practice the TOEIC Test, which help students become familiar with the test format and enhance their English proficiency. Overall, these findings demonstrate that systematic lecturer preparation and the integration of structured classroom instruction with independent learning resources contribute to more focused and relevant TOEIC preparation for economics and business students. This approach supports the development of practical English skills aligned with workplace communication needs and increases students’ readiness to face standardized English proficiency tests

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the pullout model for students with special needs at MIN 1 Magelang, an Islamic elementary school in Central Java. Using descriptive qualitative methodology, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and authentic documentation from school principals, teachers, students with special needs, parents, and classmates. The findings reveal that 18 students with learning difficulties including slow learners, mild intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, low vision, autism, ADHD, and ADD successfully learn alongside regular students in mainstream classes while receiving specialized instruction in resource rooms during specific learning challenges. The pullout model proved effective in improving academic achievement, self-confidence, and learning motivation. Integration of Islamic religious values enhanced students' self-acceptance through understanding the concept of divine decree. Despite infrastructure limitations and lack of formal certification as an inclusive education provider, the school's success was driven by teachers' high commitment, strong leadership support, and active parental involvement. MIN 1 Magelang demonstrates significant potential as a sustainable faith-based inclusive education model for other madrasahs in Indonesia.

Abstract

The goal of this activity is to create a waste-free madrasa environment while providing benefits to students. The methods used include education, action, which includes collection, sorting, sales, re-organization, and finally evaluation. This activity is carried out at least twice a day: in the morning after all classes have been conducive. Meanwhile, the afternoon activity is carried out after students have returned home. The collected waste is then sold and the proceeds are donated to orphaned and underprivileged students. With perseverance and seriousness, the waste management effort has finally borne fruit. A positive response from other madrasa residents and street vendors selling around the madrasa has begun to be seen. They are willing to help manage the waste. Such conditions certainly greatly assist the Madrasa Principal's activities in managing waste. The results are quite significant, as evidenced by the fact that to date, 12 (twelve) orphaned and underprivileged students have received alms from this activity with a total nominal value of Rp935,000.00 (nine hundred and thirty-five thousand rupiah).
