Abstract

The 21st century skills or 4C skills (critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, creative and innovative) are highly needed to thrive in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. These skills can be developed through learning, and it is important to incorporate them into the learning process, including mathematics education. Analyzing activities can be a way to sharpen students' thinking skills. One of the topics that requires analysis is the characteristics of function graphs and their changes due to transformations. The purpose of this article is to explain how to teach the characteristics of functions and their changes due to transformations of , , and using Geogebra, and its correlation with the improvement of 4C skills. The method used in this article is literature review. In analyzing function graphs, it is necessary to have learning media that can facilitate the learning process. One suitable media for learning function graphs is Geogebra, a software that can visualize mathematical objects such as function graphs. Using Geogebra in learning can sharpen critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, collaboration skill, and communication skill.

Abstract

This research aims to improve teacher competency in learning through In House Training (IHT) in the use of Canva media. This research method uses a pre-experimental design type of one-group pre-test post-test design. The research was conducted at Syekh Tubagus Abdullah Elementary School, Purbaratu District, Tasikmalaya City. The research was conducted at the beginning of the even semester 2021/2022, in January-June 2022. The population in this research was all teachers at Syekh Tubagus Abdullah Elementary School, Purbaratu District, totaling 10 people. The results of the research show that based on the data obtained, in phase I as many as 9 teachers at Syekh Tubagus Abdullah Elementary School were able to master the material for making Canva learning videos well. Only one teacher scored below average. Based on the results of phase 1, it is necessary to carry out phase II IHT activities again. Meanwhile, in phase II, the results of the implementation of In House Training were based on instruments that had been filled in by 10 respondents or participants (Teachers) and had achieved an average score of 100, this means that most of the indicators based on previous provisions could be achieved very well. Based on existing data, the conclusion is that IHT activities have succeeded in increasing teacher competence in utilizing animated videos in learning activities.

Abstract

This study describes the role of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) in alleviating poverty in Central Java through two main approaches: the empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the implementation of the waqf program. The Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Office of Religious Affairs for the Economic Empowerment of the Ummah (KUA PEU) program, which is a program of assistance and strengthening access to family/community-based community economic empowerment consisting of providing assistance for community economic empowerment, training, business workshops and business assistance to MSME entrepreneurs, has contributed significantly to improving economic welfare. Then through the Productive Waqf Incubation Program, a program that is a vehicle for transforming the formation of nazir human resources into human resources who have a creative business spirit. Innovative and visionary. Nazirs receiving assistance will get access to capital, training and mentoring. Despite challenges, such as low awareness of waqf, education strategies and collaboration with stakeholders were identified as key factors for the sustainability and expansion of the program. Recommendations include raising awareness, strengthening collaboration, and further developing the MSME empowerment program for sustainable impact. this policy paper provides a comprehensive understanding of MoRA's role in poverty alleviation, integrating economic empowerment with religious principles.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study, with the aim of finding out the digital literacy of Islamic religious instructors can improve their abilities in overcoming current problems and the application of understanding digital literacy for Islamic religious instructors in overcoming contemporary problems. The research method is descriptive. Data collection methods are questionnaires, observations and interviews. The questionnaire instrument seeks to determine the digital literacy of Islamic religious instructors in overcoming current problems. The observation instrument seeks to obtain data on the digital literacy of Islamic religious instructors in overcoming current problems. The research results show that the digital literacy of Islamic religious instructors can be used as an effort to improve their ability to overcome current problems. Application of digital literacy Islamic religious instructors use an understanding of digital literacy in using the internet and social media when helping people overcome the current problems they face. Based on the research results, the author suggests that Islamic religious instructors at KUA Karanganyar, Purbalingga Regency be able to increase knowledge about digital literacy and actively use the internet and social media in an effort to improve their ability to overcome current problems. Abstract

Learning media continues to develop along with the development of the times. Therefore, as teachers and educators, they must be able to adjust and learn related to learning media that continues to develop. The use of learning media with the use of modern technology has various types, one of which is kahoot learning media. This research is focused on how to find out the advantages, disadvantages, and impacts used in kahoot game applications. The method used for this sniffing is a quantitative descriptive method that contains a description of the explanation related to the advantages, disadvantages, and impacts used for the kahoot application. The results of the study found that the game has advantages, namely attractiveness, novelty, and reducing boredom. The disadvantage of kahot games is that they do not explore the area of children's reasoning comprehensively, as opposed to the essential construction. From this study, the conclusion is that this learning media has distinctive advantages and disadvantages, teachers must adjust the use of appropriate learning media and plan so that the impact can be appropriate effectively and efficiently

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the planning, implementation and evaluation of student management at SD Negeri 02 Rantau Alai, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research design with the school principal as the main research subject. The research focus includes aspects of student program planning, implementation of activities, and the process of evaluating student outcomes. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation and document analysis. To ensure the validity of the data, this research uses source and method triangulation techniques. The data obtained was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that student management planning includes systematic steps such as new student admissions, student orientation, and class grouping. Implementation of activities is carried out according to established procedures, with a focus on student development individually, socially and academically. Student management evaluations are carried out periodically to assess program effectiveness and provide input for improvement. This research provides a comprehensive picture of the importance of student management as one of the pillars of success in basic education.

Abstract

This research aims to improve beginning reading skills using the SAS (Synthetic Structural Analytical) method. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. This research was conducted at Sembungan State Elementary School with class II student respondents. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was carried out in 2 cycles. This research shows the results that the percentage of students' initial reading skills from initial conditions, cycle 1 and cycle 2 has increased from 38.47% to 76.92%. The indicator of success of this research is that if the percentage of students exceeds 75% then this Classroom Action Research has been successful. The conclusion of this research is that the initial reading skills of class II students at SD Negeri Sembungan have improved after using the SAS method.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at the primary school level, especially in elementary schools based on Tahfidzul Quran. This research uses an instrumental case study approach with SDTQ As-Surkati as the research subject. Data and information are extracted through interviews, document study, and observation of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The data and information obtained were analyzed using the POAC approach (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) approach. The analysis focused on underlying aspects of the institution’s decisions, processes and problems, also how the actors involved contributed to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Based on the analysis, it was found that SDTQ As-Surkati took the initiative to implement the Merdeka Curriculum in the school year 2022/2023. The initiative was based on the school's ability to adapt more quickly to the Merdeka Curriculum. In terms of PAI learning, the school uses the Merdeka Curriculum adapted to its needs. PAI lessons at SDTQ As-Surkati are divided into four sub-lessons, which are taught using the student-centred approach of the Merdeka Curriculum. Some sub-lessons are organised by prioritising the set objectives and orientations. The challenges encountered in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in PAI (Islamic Education) learning include the provision of facilities and infrastructure as well as the limited allocation of learning time.

Abstract

In the era of rapid technological advancement, the integration of Islamic and scientific cultures in Islamic boarding schools becomes increasingly vital to accommodate the dynamic potential of students. However, many pesantren have yet to implement systematic change management strategies to optimise student development and learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the role of change management in enhancing students’ academic and personal growth at MBS Muhammadiyah Pleret, Yogyakarta. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data was collected through interviews and observations involving religious teachers, students, and staff. The analysis was conducted through data reduction, display, and verification processes. Findings reveal that the combination of theory- and practice-based learning, supported by effective change management, leads to significant improvements in student outcomes. The consistent application of neuroscience principles and the pesantren’s cultural environment positively shapes students’ behavior, motivation, and learning achievements. Biannual data show a steady increase in learning potential over time. The study concludes that the integration of change management in pesantren settings supports better academic results, enriches cultural values, and strengthens school governance. Although a strong correlation between change management and knowledge management was not established, both elements contribute positively to educational enhancement, indicating the need for further exploration.

Abstract

The lack of development of educational games with local wisdom in learning Al-Quran tajweed material, especially the reading laws of waqof and washal for grade 5 SD / MI students. This research aims to analyze the needs of students and teachers for the development of the Batu-Q game, and test the feasibility of the Batu-Q game with Temanggung local wisdom. The type of Research and Development (RnD) with ADDIE method type Robert Maribe Branch. This research was conducted at 34 MI / SD, and 1 MI as a limited scale trial. The data collection technique used a needs analysis questionnaire, feasibility test questionnaire, and document study. Data analysis techniques were carried out using quantitative and qualitative interpretative analysis techniques. The research findings state that the development of the Batu-Q game was carried out with ADDIE stages which obtained a game with an attractive profile for learning Al-Quran in the aspects of waqof and washal in grade 5 SD / MI. The results of the needs of Batu-Q game development from the student element get a score of 85.20%, and the teacher element gets a score of 83.20% which means it is in great need. The game feasibility test results from game media experts get a score of 97.5%, the test results of local wisdom material experts get a score of 90%, and from Al-Quran material experts get a score of 90% which shows the Batu-Q game is feasible to implement. This research is limited to the Batu-Q game for grade 5 SD / MI, and is limited only to waqof and washal reading material. Future research needs to be done to develop more innovative educational games to answer the challenges of the times.
