Abstract

Abstract—SIM card provider is the center of mobile telecommunication such as telephones, texting, Internet or Blackberry messenger. Lately, the SIM card business development is be marked more kinds of SIM card offered by the provider company with various brands, features and facilities. This causes consumers find it difficult to choose the SIM card that suits their needs such as the phone call need, texting need, Internet and Blackberry package, and bonus that the consumer wants. From the problems above, consumer need a decision support system that can gives SIM card recommendation which suits the consumer’s needs. The SIM card provider decision-making selection can be complex because of the multiple purposes of consumer. One of the tools that are suitable to use for SIM card sorting priority is Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) that is developed by Thomas L. Saaty. The final result from this thesis is a system of SIM card provider selection decision-making support which suits with the consumer’s needs. The system is tested with data collection by using questionnaire, which aims to obtain data that is more accurate about the usefulness of the system that has been created. Data collection are through the 30 respondents who tried the system from the user side and 5 respondents who filled out questionnaires from the administrator side. The results of the data collection and analysis of data collected declare that this system has its deficiency, especially the difficulty of priority weighting of both.

Abstract

Information in the digital era is growing very fast, seen from the rapid exchange of information. Information in the form of data or text is widely distributed and can be spread easily and quickly through the website. Generally a website uses website-based programming with the GET method where the GET method has a weakness of system data that can be seen in the access directory. This causes the data in the directory can be taken by unauthorized persons. Based on these problems the file sharing system provider was designed with URL encryption using the rijndael algorithm. The system provides services for sharing data and downloading data securely. Between the provider and recipient of the data each has an application that is an application to upload and an application to download and the admin is tasked with regulating the number of users of the application user. Existing data in the URL shared by the user upload application that has been in the form of an encrypted ciphertext with the shared rijndael algorithm can only be downloaded by the download application user. Each application has an authentication process where only registered users can access the application according to their respective roles. Research that has been done to get the results of encryption conducted on the upload application changes the URL into a ciphertext that can only be downloaded using a download application so that weaknesses in the GET method can be overcome. Abstract

Over time, the development of technology is very rapid. It is certainly inseparable from the role of networks that can connect devices to be able to exchange information. Therefore, there is a need to secure computer networks to prevent cyber crime. The most commonly used attacks are Port Scanning and DoS (Denial Of Service). There are various ways to secure a computer network, one of which is by Switching port security. In addition to using Switch port security, the technique for securing network crimes is to use the De-Militarized Zone (DMZ). This study aims to compare network security performance with the Port security and DMZ methods where the tests obtained based on the review literature concluded that the use of the DMZ method carries out security by filtering requests by clients through firewall routers while Port security can provide security to the network by providing access to the server to registered ports only.

Abstract

Kualitas keandalan pelayanan energi listrik dapat dilihat dari lamanya pemadaman dan seberapa sering pemadaman terjadi dalam kurun waktu tertentu. Indeks keandalan merupakan ukuran keandalan yang dinyatakan dalam besaran probabilitas. Konfigurasi penyulang radial biasanya lebih komplek dan panjang bila dibandingkan dengan konfigurasi spindel. Evaluasi keandalan penyulang radial memerlukan perhitungan indeks keandalan yang cukup rumit dan sangat banyak.Metode Reliability-Network-Equivalent Approach (RNEA) digunakan untuk menganalisis keandalan sistem distribusi yang besar dan kompleks, dengan pendekatan elemen ekuivalen. Rangkaian ekuivalen digunakan untuk mengganti bagian jaringan distribusi dan menyusun kembali sistem distribusi kedalam bentuk seri dan sederhana. Metode RNEA menggunakan proses berulang dan berurutan untuk mengevaluasi indeks keandalan per titik beban (load point).Sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil Penyulang Penebel, yang merupakan penyulang radial, panjang dan kompleks. Dari studi keandalan ini didapatkan indeks titik beban (load point) dan indeks sistem, yang berguna untuk perencanaan sistem di masa yang akan datang. Untuk mencari nilai indeks titik beban (load point), SAIFI dan SAIDI, telah dibangun program dengan memakai pendekatan metode RNEA. Hasil studi menunjukkan, nilai SAIFI Penyulang Penebel adalah sebesar 1,7594 (Pemadaman/Pelanggan.Tahun), dan untuk nilai SAIDI adalah sebesar 4,248 (Jam/Pelanggan.Tahun).

Abstract

Teknologi semikonduktor daya sudah dan sedang berkembang dengan sangat pesat. Perkembangan tersebut mencakup peningkatan densitas dan rating arus, tegangan kerja, daya keluaran dan efisiensi, frekwensi switching, bentuk dan ukuran fisik, dan penurunan rugi-rugi. Dalam pabrikasinya, hampir semua komponen semikonduktor daya dikemas sebagai perangkat tunggal (discrete device) atau dalam bentuk paket rangkaian  yang disebut modul daya  dasar (power module) sampai modul daya yang canggih (intelligent power module). Dalam perencanaan konverter daya untuk pengemudian elektrik khususnya yang dipakai dalam penelitian laboratorium dan tugas akhir mahasiswa, dapat dilakukan melalui dua pedekatan. Yang pertama adalah pendekatan perangkat tunggal dimana konverter daya dibuat dengan menggunakan komponen tunggal. Yang kedua adalah mendesain konverter dengan menggunakan modul daya. Kedua pendekatan ini memiliki berbagai keuntungan dan juga kekurangan. Tulisan ini mencoba mendiskusikan faktor-faktor yang berperan dalam perencanaan konverter daya untuk pengemudian listrik khususnya dalam pemilihan saklar statis atau komponen switching. Dalam tulisan ini juga akan direview berbagai power module yang tersedia di pasaran yang bisa digunakan dalam perencanaan konverter daya untuk pengemudian elektrik berdaya rendah.

Abstract

The sharp increase on the demand of mobile telecommunication services requires strategy from providers and government to overcome the need on the mobile network infrastructure. Denpasar is the capital city of Bali Province also as one of the world tourism destination has the dramatic increase in development of mobile telecommunication infrastructure. It can be seen from the number of Greenfield and Rooftop telecommunication tower increase every year. This paper shows the telecommunication tower distribution at Denpasar in year 2012. Survey was done through literature study based on recorded data at the communication and information office at the Government of Denpasar City. In addition, we did the site visit survey to find out the coordinate and tower identities. Then, each towers coordinate was plotted at google map to see the towers distribution and mapping in Denpasar. From the survey and tower mapping we found that there were a number of 326 total telecommunication towers in the area Denpasar. It was consist of 108 unit Greenfield towers and 218 unit Rooftop towers. The site survey also found that many towers have been used by some providers (joint operation tower). There was no tower found located at the Greenland area as well as at the holy and sacred area such as around temples which is very important to be analyzed when planning tower location.  However, many tower were not equipped with the tower identity which has been a requirement base on communication and Information Ministry’s decree number 02/PER/M.KOMINFO/3/2008 about the Guidelines of Joint Operation Telecommunication Tower.

Abstract

Kombinasi sistem dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kehandalan komunikasi wireless. Salah satu parameter yang menunjukkan kehandalan komunikasi wireless adalah dengan mengurangi nilai BER. Pada teknologi 4G menggunakan kombinasi teknik transmisi OFDM dengan teknik antena MIMO. Selain daripada itu, kombinasi antar teknik transmisi juga dapat dilakukan, yaitu dengan menggabungkan konsep multicarrier OFDM dengan spread spectrum yang selanjutnya dikenal dengan multicarrier spread spectrum (MC-SS). Kombinasi antara OFDM, spread spectrum, dan MIMO yang didukung oleh kelebihan dari masing-masing teknik tersebut diharapkan mampu memberikan performansi yang baik dalam mendukung kehandalan komunikasi wireless. Dalam paper ini akan dibandingkan performansi menurut BER vs. Eb/No dari sistem MC-SS MIMO dengan OFDM MIMO. Pengujian ini dilakukan dengan simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak MatLab yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran terkait teknologi lain yang mampu memberikan kehandalan komunikasi wireless. Dalam hasil simulasi didapatkan bahwa nilai BER pada sistem MC-SS MIMO lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan sistem OFDM MIMO untuk semua nilai Eb/No baik pada kanal AWGN maupun Rayleigh Fading.

Abstract

Citra bitmap biasanya memiliki ukuran citra yang relative besar. Hal ini mempengaruhi proses transmisi data dan membutuhkan tempat penyimpanan yang besar. Untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut dibutuhkan sebuah teknik reduksi citra untuk memampatkan ukuran citra dengan tetap menjaga kualitasnya. Dalam penelitian ini akan membandingkan beberapa algoritma kompresi lossy untuk menemukan satu metode optimal yang cocok untuk citra digital bitmap. Algoritma kompresi yang akan dibandingkan adalah Absolute Moment Block Truncation Coding (AMBTC), Joint Photograpic Experts (JPEG), dan Non-Negative Matrix Factorization (NMF). Proses perbandingan dilakukan dengan menghitung rasio kompresi, Mean Square Error (MSE), and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) untuk mengetahui ukuran hasil kompresi dan kualitas citra hasil kompresi. Hasilnya adalah rasio kompresi rata-rata untuk AMBTC adalah 7.32%, JPEG 1698.3%, dan NMF 8.32%. Nilai rata-rata MSE untuk kompresi AMBTC adalah 36.92, kompresi JPEG adalah 54.50 dan untuk NMF adalah 194.54. Sedangkan untuk nilai PSNR

Abstract

At present all aspects of electricity are carried out by PT. PLN (Persero) throughout Indonesia. There are still many villages in Indonesia that are dark or not yet electrified. It is recorded that up to now 2,500 villages have not yet been connected to electricity. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has now sought a solution so that 2,500 villages can enjoy electricity. One of them is by using renewable energy. One of them is PLTS Datah, the asset is not functioning anymore and in some parts there is damage. Asah Teben Hamlet, Datah Village has an area of ??6.74 km2 which has a fairly high population with a population of 315 family heads in 2018. With such density, the water needs of each person are more than 150 liters per day per person. With the energy generated at 10 kWp, it is expected that later the need for clean water in residential areas of around 315 families can be fulfilled. With the existing water source, it can meet the water needs of residents in Asah Teben Datah Hamlet. From the calculation results, the water price is Rp. 1,288 is cheaper than the PDAM water price of Rp. 1,500. The price of water is quite cheap and can be reached by residents.
