Abstract

Nurul Hidayah, (Difference in Consumer Acceptance on Rose Extract (Rosa Centifolia) asNatural Color for Lipstick) a qualitative study in Cosmetology Study Program, Faculty ofEngineering, Univercity Of Jakarta 2015This study aims to determine the most preferred lipstick cosmetics products by consumers inlipstick preparations that use natural dyes from rose extract 5%, 10%, and 15%. The samples usedin this study were 30 students of the State University of Jakarta who had dry lip conditions andevery day using lipstick. Assessment is carried out with a favorite / hedonic test. Aspects assessedare color, aroma, stickiness, and sensitivity. The results showed that there were differences in consumer acceptance of the results of color, aroma, adhesion, and sensitivity in lipstick preparationsusing natural dyes from rose extract 5%, 10%, and 15%. The results of the assessment stated that:the highest assessment of the color aspect obtained an average value of 3.93, namely in the lipstickpreparation using rose extract natural dyes 15%, this is because the colors in the lipstick preparationtend to be brighter and redder. The highest rating on the aroma aspect which has the highest averageof 4.70, that is, on lipstick that uses natural rose extract 15% because the smell is more smelled.While the assessment of the adhesion aspect obtained the highest value with an average of 4.70,namely in lipstick preparations using natural dyes from rose extract 15%. Finally, the assessment onthe sensitivity aspect obtained the highest average value of 4.33, that is, on lipstick preparationsusing natural dyes from rose extract 5%, this was due to the lipstick with a slight mixture of dyeswhich was the safest so it can be concluded that lipstick preparations using natural dyes from roseextract 15% more preferred by consumers ranging from color, aroma, and stickiness so that themore extracts used, the more attractive to consumers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the implementation of online business for the sale of prosthetics for 3D character makeup, (2) the obstacles faced by online businesses in the sale of prosthetics for 3D character makeup, and (3) sales efforts in overcoming these obstacles. The subjects of this study were sellers of prosthetics for 3D character makeup. The objects of this study were online business implementation, online business obstacles, and sellers' efforts in overcoming these obstacles. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results show: First, the implementation of online business for the sale of prosthetics for 3D character makeup has good and profitable potential. Second, the obstacles faced include the still-unfamiliarity of many consumers with prosthetics for 3D character makeup, and the distrust of online sales due to the prevalence of fraud. Third, sellers' efforts to overcome these obstacles include online and offline promotions, such as opening booths at bazaars, soliciting testimonials from buyers, maintaining product quality, and checking current trends. Abstract

The beauty industry, particularly cosmetics, is growing rapidly. This is accompanied by increasing consumer considerations when choosing a product to purchase cosmetics. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the factors influencing consumers' decisions to purchase facial care cosmetics. Nowadays, facial care has become a routine activity for women and men from various backgrounds. In addition to beauty salons, facial treatments are often performed personally due to the ease of obtaining and the wide variety of facial care cosmetics available publicly. The research method used was qualitative, incorporating a literature review. The results of this study indicate that four factors significantly influence consumer decisions to purchase facial care cosmetics: cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors.

Abstract

This research uses the Research and Development method, also defined as research that is deliberately, systematically aimed/directed to find, formulate, improve, develop, produce, test the effectiveness of products, models, methods/strategies/ways, services, and certain procedures that are superior, new, effective, efficient, productive, and meaningful. The development model used is the 4D development model. This 4D model consists of 4 main stages, namely, define, design, development, and disseminate. The Learning Management System (LMS) was developed as a learning medium using open-source software. It is expected to attract students' attention, provide motivation to students, and be tailored to students' interests, so that it is hoped that the information conveyed through the media can be captured by students and tested in the teaching and learning process to see the practicality of using the Learning Management System (LMS). LMS encompasses administration, material delivery, assessment, monitoring, and communication. Materials in pedagogical and professional competencies, created using multimedia packaging (text, animation, video, sound) in the LMS, will accelerate the mastery of science and technology, thereby optimally improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine women's perceptions of the benefits of fruit and vegetable-based hair care cosmetics for addressing hair problems. The study population was all women of productive age, aged 17-45, who had previously received hair care treatments at home or at a beauty salon. A sample size of 30 respondents was selected. This research method was a survey, collecting quantitative data. Data were collected regarding housewives' perceptions of the benefits of fruit and vegetable cosmetics in hair care. Quantitative data were collected by distributing a questionnaire with closed-ended statements as the primary instrument to assess women's knowledge, views, and responses regarding the benefits of fruit and vegetable cosmetics in hair care. The research instrument used to determine women's perceptions used a Likert scale with a range of 1-4 levels. Responses ranged from very positive (scale 4) to very negative (scale 1). Instrument validity was determined using an r-table and then tested for reliability. The results of this study are expected to determine whether further socialization or education is needed to emphasize the importance of women's knowledge about using fruit and vegetable-based cosmetics for daily hair care.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology have significantly impacted cosmetic products, particularly those made with masks. Many people still believe that natural facial treatments are safer because they don't contain chemicals. Skin health is also a visible indicator of whether someone is young or old. Skin that has difficulty retaining water will become damaged and dry. Traditional beauty treatments utilize readily available natural ingredients, such as corn. Corn contains vitamins A, B, B1, C, E, and K, as well as carbohydrates, protein, and minerals, all of which are beneficial for skin health. Corn is a natural ingredient rich in these nutrients. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of corn as a mask for naturally improving dry facial skin health.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan media video tutorial dalam materi rias fantasi di program studi tata rias. Video ini diharapkan menjadi media alternatif materi rias fantasi, sehingga dapat dijadikan sumber yang layak diterapkan bagi mahasiswa sebagai bahan ajar mandiri. Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu komponen pembelajaran yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan juga dapat digunakan pada proses pembelajran yang mampu menarik perhatian peserta didik. Video dapat memberikan pesan yang dapat diterima lebih merata oleh siswa, video sangat bagus untuk menerangkan suatu proses, mengatasi keterbatasan ruang dan waktu, lebih realistis dan dapat diulang atau dihentikan sesuai kebutuhan, serta memberikan kesan yang mendalam, yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian awal yang termasuk di dalam tahap pra pengembangan dalam prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D) oleh Sugiyono (2010). Penelitian ini hanya terbatas pada analisis kebutuhan yang bersumber dari skala literature atau bedah buku dan hasil wawancara awal pada mata kuliah yang bersangkutan. Sasaran penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan sebagai objek dalam pengembangan video tutorial sebagai media pembelajaran dalam materi rias fantasi di program studi tata rias adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang sudah Mengambil Mata Kuliah Penataan Rambut Dan Rias Fantasi Tahun 2019. Hasil penelitian didapat dari bedah buku dan observasi pada mata kuliah penataan rambut dan rias fantasi, hasil penelitian ini meliputi : (1) Video tutorial sebagai media pembelajaran dibutuhkan digunakan sebagai bahan ajar mandiri yang berkualitas dan bisa menarik minat siswa , (2) Pengembangan media video sebagai bahan ajar yang bervariasi di program studi tata rias, (3) Terdapat karakteristik video tutorial dalam materi rias fantasi. Abstract

Modul adalah suatu bahan ajar pembelajaran alternatif yang isinya relatif singkat dan spesifik yang disusun untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Modul dapat dipergunakan untuk pembelajaran mandiri. Dengan modul, peserta didik dapat mengukur sendiri tingkat penguasaan materi yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan media modul pembelajaran dalam materi Tata Rias Pengantin Barat di program studi Pendidikan Tata Rias. Modul ini diharapkan menjadi media alternatif materi Tata Rias Pengantin Barat, sehingga dapat dijadikan sumber yang layak diterapkan bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian awal yang termasuk di dalam tahap pendefinisian dalam prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) oleh Al-Tabany (2014). Penelitian ini hanya terbatas pada analisis kebutuhan yang bersumber dari skala literatur dan hasil wawancara awal pada mata kuliah Tata Rias Pengantin Barat. Sasaran penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan sebagai objek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang sudah mengambil mata kuliah Tata Rias Pengantin Barat Tahun 2015 dan 2016. Hasil penelitian ini adalah modul sebagai media pembelajaran dibutuhkan digunakan sebagai bahan ajar mandiri dan bisa menarik minat siswa serta pengembangan media modul sebagai bahan ajar yang bervariasi di program studi Pendidikan Tata Rias.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana peserta didik dan guru dalam menerima e-learning yang berbasis moodle pada SMK Karya Guna dalam proses pembelajaran kedepannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development)yang bertempat di SMK Karya Guna. Penelitian dilakukan sejak Agustus 2017 hingga Juli 2018. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas XI TKJ II yang telah mengikuti pelajaran Praktik Jaringan Komputer dan guru TKJ SMK Karya Guna. Tahapan dari penelitian ini adalah potensi dan masalah yang ada, rancangan produk, pembuatan produk, uji coba produk, revisi produk dan implementasi. Penelitian ini diujikan kepada dosen ahli media, dosen ahli e-learning, guru dan siswa. Hasil pengujian dari ahli media untuk versi 3 mendapatkan nilai presentase 88%, oleh ahli e-learning sebesar 85,71, oleh siswa dan guru (kelompok besar) sebesar 92,26% dan 90%. Berdasarkan hasil uji tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-learning berbasis moodle versi ketiga sesuai dan dapat diterima dengan baik untuk diterapkan pada mata pelajaran Praktik Jaringan Komputer.

Abstract

Blush on adalah jenis kosmetika dekoratif yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan estetika dalam tata rias wajah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memformulasi dan evaluasi sediaan blush on dalam bentuk semi padat menggunakan pati kentang sebagai gelling agent dan kulit batang secang sebagai pewarna. Kulit kayu secang yang mengandung pigmen braizilin,brailien dan senyawa flavonoid yaitu antosianin dalam jumlah yang besar sebagai pewarna. Pati kentang yang digunakan sebagai gelling agent memiliki nilai swelling power dan viskositas tinggi dibandingkan dengan pati lainnya. Pada formulasi konsentasi ekstrak kulit batang secang dibagi dalam 3 formula 1%, 3%, dan 6%. Tiap formula dilakukan pengujian selama 4 minggu pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi organleptik, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar, viskositas, , freeze thaw. Dari data hasil penelitian pada evaluasi sediaan blush on gel menunjukan stabilitas fisik blush on gel tidak mengalami perubah pada uji organoleptik, homogen tidak terdapat gumpalan, memiliki daya sebar 5 – 7,9 cm, pH yang dihasilkan 6,38 – 6,89, viskositas 2131 – 3029 cPs dan tidak terjadi pemisahan fase. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan ekstrak kulit batang secang dapat digunakan sebagai pewarna alam pada sediaan kosmetik.
