Abstract

In the digital era, leveraging information technology is crucial for organizations seeking to boost operational efficiency, particularly through the integration of financial systems. Within the technology industry, PT Snapdev Digital Indonesia faces several challenges, such as semi-manual transaction recording, a susceptibility to data duplication, and slow financial reporting processes. Consequently, this research aimed to design and implement a web-based Financial Administration System using the Prototyping method. The application's feasibility was comprehensively evaluated based on the ISO/IEC 25010 global software quality standard. A quantitative methodology was employed, utilizing questionnaires distributed to active system users via purposive sampling. Quality assessment focused on the eight key indicators of ISO/IEC 25010. Actual results showed the following performance levels for each characteristic: Functional Suitability 82.14% (Very Good), Performance Efficiency 76.43% (Good), Compatibility 77.14% (Good), Usability 78.21% (Good), Reliability 80.71% (Good), Security 82.14% (Very Good), Maintainability 76.43% (Good), and Portability 77.86% (Good). Based on these aggregated results, the software achieved an average score of 79.14%, indicating that the financial management system falls within the "Good" feasibility category. In conclusion, the developed system is highly suitable for implementation to enhance the effectiveness, precision, and transparency of cash management at PT Snapdev Digital Indonesia.

Abstract

Effective project management requires an integrated system to support team coordination, task monitoring, and efficient information delivery. At PT Teknologi Informatika Solusindo, project monitoring has been conducted through separate processes, making it difficult to track work progress and ensure effective collaboration. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Project Management Dashboard using the Prototype development method, which emphasizes iterative system refinement based on user feedback and operational requirements. The application provides features for project tracking, task management, progress visualization, and centralized reporting to improve monitoring and decision-making. System quality was evaluated using the ISO/IEC 25010 software quality standard through a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 28 respondents representing potential users. The evaluation assessed key quality characteristics, including usability, functional suitability, and overall user satisfaction. The results showed that the developed system achieved an average score of 93%, which falls within the Very Good category. These findings indicate that the application successfully meets users' operational needs by providing a structured, integrated, and user-friendly platform for project management. The implementation of the Project Management Dashboard is expected to improve project supervision, enhance communication among team members, and support more efficient project execution. Therefore, the proposed system is considered suitable for implementation in the operational environment of PT Teknologi Informatika Solusindo.

Abstract

PT Teknologi Informatika Solusindo still faces challenges in managing meeting schedules, including manual recording processes, delays in information dissemination, and the potential for scheduling conflicts. These issues can affect the effectiveness of coordination and communication among employees. This study aims to analyze, design, and evaluate a web-based meeting scheduling system using the Prototype method and the ISO/IEC 25010 standard. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. The system was developed using the Prototype method and modeled with Unified Modeling Language (UML), consisting of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. System quality testing was conducted based on ISO/IEC 25010 characteristics to ensure that the developed system meets user requirements. The results indicate that the proposed system is capable of improving meeting schedule management by making it more effective, structured, and accessible. Therefore, the web-based meeting scheduling system can serve as an effective solution to enhance meeting management efficiency at PT Teknologi Informatika Solusindo.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages companies to improve the effectiveness of integrated IT asset and inventory management. PT Snapdev Digital Indonesia, as a company operating in the technology sector, still faces several challenges in managing IT inventory, such as unstructured device recording, less optimal asset monitoring processes, and delays in handling helpdesk tickets. This study aims to design and analyze a web-based IT inventory system using the Agile method and prototype approach, as well as to evaluate the system quality based on the ISO/IEC 25010 standard. The system was developed using UML modeling consisting of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The implementation of the system was carried out through a website-based platform with features including inventory management, helpdesk tickets, ticket monitoring, knowledge base, technician scheduling, and system reporting. System testing was conducted using the ISO/IEC 25010 standard focusing on the aspects of functional suitability, usability, reliability, performance efficiency, and security. The results of this study indicate that the developed system is capable of improving the effectiveness of IT inventory management, accelerating the helpdesk ticket handling process, and assisting the company in generating inventory reports more quickly and accurately.

Abstract

The rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT) has transformed various aspects of industrial and household activities by enabling interconnected devices to communicate and exchange data through internet networks. IoT technology supports automation, real-time monitoring, and intelligent decision-making, thereby improving operational efficiency, productivity, convenience, and security. In the industrial sector, IoT contributes to predictive maintenance, production optimization, and resource management, while in households it facilitates smart home systems that enhance energy efficiency, comfort, and safety. Despite these benefits, the widespread adoption of IoT continues to face several challenges, including data security and privacy concerns, interoperability among devices, infrastructure limitations, high implementation costs, and varying levels of digital literacy among users. This study employs a qualitative approach using phenomenological research to explore and understand the experiences, perceptions, and challenges encountered in the implementation of IoT technologies in both industrial and household environments. By examining these experiences, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of how IoT is adopted in practice and identifies the factors influencing its successful implementation. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of more effective IoT implementation strategies and support future technological innovation in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

The web-based used car trading information system developed for CV. Zae Motor was built to replace conventional business processes such as manual stock recording, customer data management, and sales documentation. However, the availability of functional features does not automatically guarantee a good user experience, since a system that is difficult to operate can trigger input errors and reduce user satisfaction. This study aims to evaluate the quality of the user interface of the Zae Motor digital car catalog through Heuristic Evaluation based on Jakob Nielsen's ten usability principles. The evaluation focused on three main modules, namely the guest catalog and vehicle detail pages, the car-selling submission form, and the admin dashboard used for inventory and transaction management. Three expert evaluators with a background in information systems and user interface design independently examined each module against the ten heuristic principles and assigned a severity rating on a 0–4 scale for every violation found. The results indicate that the interface generally meets usability standards, with strong performance in Consistency and Standards, Error Prevention, and Match between System and the Real World, mainly due to the use of the Bootstrap framework and everyday automotive terminology. The main area requiring improvement is Flexibility and Efficiency of Use, particularly the absence of an advanced search filter. These findings provide practical recommendations to strengthen the usability of the Zae Motor system before it is deployed for full public use.

Abstract

An Ni’mah Wangon General Hospital has implemented a Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) as part of its commitment to creating an innovative and productive work system based on information technology. Issues identified during its use include data inconsistencies resulting from user error, system disruptions caused by server and network problems, limitations in supporting infrastructure such as electricity and data storage, and security threats in the form of viruses and misuse of access rights. This study aims to analyse the level of IT risk based on likelihood and impact through a qualitative approach using observation, interviews and documentation. The method used was ISO 31000:2018. The research findings identified 14 potential risks, comprising 3 high-level risks, 3 moderate-level risks and 8 low-level risks, of which the assignment of users who do not possess the appropriate competencies, errors in the SIMRS software, and virus attacks were identified as the top priorities for management due to their significant impact on hospital operations. Using the ISO 31000:2018 framework, this study concluded that systematic risk management is crucial in supporting the continuity of services. The proposed mitigation strategies include improving the reliability of the infrastructure, providing regular training for users, standardising data input procedures, and carrying out routine maintenance to ensure the security and optimisation of the SIMRS service at An Ni’mah Wangon General Hospital.

Abstract

Road infrastructure development is essential for supporting economic growth and improving agricultural product distribution in Bengkayang Regency, Indonesia. However, the process of determining priority locations is not yet supported by a computerized decision-making system, which may result in inefficient and inappropriate resource allocation. This study developed a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist decision-makers in identifying and prioritizing locations for road infrastructure development. The system integrates the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. ROC was used to determine the weights of the evaluation criteria, while SAW was applied to rank 17 district alternatives based on their total priority scores. The analysis used data from the 2025 Semester I and Semester II Population Profiles and evaluated each district based on land area, population density, productive-age population, and number of households. The results showed that Jagoi Babang obtained the highest score of 0.85079, making it the main recommended district for road development. Black-box testing confirmed that the system operated properly and met all functional requirements. The proposed DSS offers a systematic and objective approach to support more effective, accurate, and data-driven infrastructure planning decisions.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling services in schools play an important role in helping students address academic, social, and psychological problems; however, their conventional implementation still faces various obstacles, such as limited face-to-face time, students' reluctance to consult directly, and counseling data documentation that is still carried out manually. This study aims to design and build a website-based e-counseling system to optimize guidance and counseling services at SMP Negeri 20 Kota Jambi. This research uses the prototype method in the system development process, consisting of three main stages: listening to user needs, building and revising the prototype, and user testing, which are carried out repeatedly until the system is declared to meet the needs. The results show that the developed e-counseling system has features for online consultation, counseling scheduling, digital counseling history, and user access management. Functional testing results indicate that all system features function properly, and user acceptance testing results show positive responses, both in terms of ease of use and the system's benefits. This research has implications for improving the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services at SMP Negeri 20 Kota Jambi, particularly in terms of ease of consultation access, student comfort, and more structured counseling data documentation, making it a potential reference for the development of technology-based counseling services in other schools.
