Abstract

The shift in family values has become an important phenomenon in the social context of the modern era. This study examines the changes in values that occur within families, the challenges they face, and the adaptation strategies employed by families to remain harmonious and functional. In the context of modernization, globalization, and technological advancement, traditional values such as family unity, respect for parents, and clear gender roles are undergoing significant transformations. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach on several families in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current dynamics of family values. The results of the study show that although many families experience dilemmas in maintaining traditional values, they also demonstrate a high capacity for adaptation by integrating new values relevant to the modern context

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of digital literacy training in preventing cyberbullying and fostering virtual harmonization among students of Jabal Noor Integrated Islamic Junior High School. Using a quantitative pretest–posttest one-group design, the research involved 33 students from grades VII–IX who participated in a digital literacy training program. Data were collected through validated questionnaires measuring awareness of cyberbullying prevention and skills in maintaining ethical communication in virtual spaces. The results showed a significant increase in the average score from 64.33 (pretest) to 73.82 (posttest), with a mean difference of 9.49 points. A paired sample t-test yielded t = 20.06, p < 0.001, indicating a highly significant effect. The findings demonstrate that digital literacy training not only enhances students’ understanding of online ethics but also reduces the tendency to engage in cyberbullying while promoting inclusive and harmonious digital interactions

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh Kabinet Prabowo–Gibran setelah pelantikan pada tahun 2024, melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis teoritis berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip manajemen klasik: Frederick Taylor (Manajemen Ilmiah) dan Max Weber (Birokrasi). Data dikumpulkan dari dokumen-dokumen resmi staf komunikasi kementerian, jurnalis politik, pengamat kebijakan publik, analisis wacana pidato resmi, serta studi dokumenter dan studi observasi terhadap kebijakan komunikasi publik kabinet dan liputan media massa dan media sosial antara Oktober 2024-September 2025. Temuan utama menunjukkan: (1) kabinet memadukan strategi citra personal (leader branding) dengan teknik manajerial yang menonjolkan efisiensi dan disiplin organisasi; (2) penggunaan media sosial dan aksi simbolik (retret militer, penampilan seragam) berfungsi sebagai alat pembentukan narasi legitimasi; (3) struktur komunikasi internal sangat dipengaruhi oleh logika birokratis Weberian namun diberi sentuhan tayloristik dalam penekanan standar operasional dan pengukuran kinerja kampanye publik; (4) ketegangan antara kebutuhan kontrol birokratis dan kebutuhan komunikasi publik yang luwes menciptakan potensi disonansi narasi yang perlu dikelola

Abstract

This study examines the role of organizational communication in shaping the identity of female cadres within Kohati HMI Medan Branch, grounded in the value of #KohatiBerprinsip. Utilizing interviews with cadres at both branch and commissariat levels, the findings show that organizational communication operates through three main channels: structural communication, cultural communication, and digital communication. These interconnected channels form an ecosystem that facilitates the internalization of Islamic, intellectual, and women-oriented values. The value of #KohatiBerprinsip functions not merely as a slogan but as an identity framework embedded through formal training curricula, leadership communication practices, and narrative-based interactions in informal forums. The study also highlights several challenges, including uneven information flow, variations in value interpretation, and digital information fatigue. Overall, organizational communication in Kohati plays a strategic role in strengthening the identity of female cadres as principled, empowered Muslim women prepared to engage in public spaces. However, stronger internal communication design and more consistent value-based narratives are required to optimize identity formation processes.
