Abstract

The economizer is a heat exchanger that functions as a preheater for feed water in the boiler which is used to utilize flue gas which will improve the performance of the boiler by increasing the water temperature before entering the steam drum. The flue gas used comes from the furnace output which has a temperature of 1337oC, then the flue gas passes through the superheater with a temperature of 1070oC and enters the economizer with a temperature of 389oC. In order to maximize the use of the high temperature flue gas that enters the economizer, therefore in this scientific work we will analyze the heat transfer characteristics of the economizer in the MACCHI TITAN M package boiler at PT. PIM-2. This water tube type boiler has a capacity to produce steam of 120 tons/hour or 33. 3 kg/s with a pressure of 44 kg/cm2 and an economizer with a design surface dimension of 2345 m2, an in-line arrangement of tube banks, a tube diameter of 70 mm, a tube length of 1122 mm and a tube width of 2000 mm. Based on these data, an economizer will be analyzed by comparing the arrangement of tube banks and variations in the number of tubes (150, 200 and 250) in each tube bank using numerical simulation methods. From the simulation, it was found that the staggered tube banks with the 250 tube variation showed better heat transfer characteristics than the other variations, where the flue gas inlet temperature of 389 oC decreased to 257.7 oC and the increase in water temperature (H2O) from 110 oC increased to 193 oC or 75.45% of the inlet water temperature. tube length 1122 mm and tube width 2000 mm. Abstract

relay that works based on an increase in current that exceeds a certain safety value and a certain period of time. The main function of this overcurrent relay is to sense the presence of overcurrent and then give the command to the circuit breaker (PMT) to open. The working principle of the Over Current Relay (OCR) is a relay that works against excess current, it will work if the flowing current exceeds the setting value (Iset) or protection that works due to a short circuit between the phases. Basically, an overcurrent relay is a device that detects the amount of current flowing through a network with the help of a current transformer. The price or amount that is allowed to pass is called the setting.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm in predicting the movement of LQ45 stock prices. In this study, historical data of BBCA stock prices were used as an example of LSTM method implementation. The development process of the stock price prediction application begins with the collection of historical data, which then undergoes a preprocessing stage for normalization. The data is divided into training and testing sets, and transformed into suitable sequences for LSTM model input. The LSTM model is trained using the backpropagation through time algorithm and tested using the testing data. The predicted results from the LSTM model are compared with the actual labels using RMSE and MAPE metrics. Once satisfactory predictions are obtained, they are stored in a database and presented to users in the form of graphs and comparison tables. The implementation of LSTM in this research demonstrates prediction accuracy with an error percentage below 6%, with MAPE of 5.4772% and RMSE of 6.658%. Furthermore, the implementation of LSTM in the developed application using the latest historical data also yields low error percentages, with MAPE ranging from 3.7763% to 5.8048% for various stock price features. In conclusion, the LSTM method can be used for predicting stock price movements with satisfactory accuracy, providing valuable information for investment decision-making.

Abstract

An innovation that was sparked is an alternative currency to replace conventional currency, namely digital currency that is secured using a Cryptographic method called Cryptocurrency. However, Cryptocurrency prices cannot be controlled, causing massive fluctuations. Cryptocurrency price changes are very stable due to several factors such as speculation from users and the nature of the follow-up from new to one of the causes. The cause of this bandwagon is due to extreme price increases in a short time, even within a day the price of Crypto can experience a difference of millions of rupiah for each increase and decrease. To answer this question, we need a software that can predict the Rupiah exchange rate. The Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) for the Triple Exponential Smoothing implementation is 3.7249%. This method was utilized to predict the Rupiah exchange rate for Cryptocurrency, addressing the issue of price fluctuations in the Crypto market. Historical data, along with the specified parameters of 0.40 for Xt and S't, and 0.60 for Beta, were employed to generate accurate predictions. The process involved calculating first to third smoothing, determining Constants, Slopes, and Parabolics, and finally producing the Forecasting results. The MAPE value of 3.7249% indicates that the Triple Exponential Smoothing method exhibited relatively accurate predictions with a small margin of error when applied to a dataset of 50 data samples, ranging from May 2022 to June 2022.
