Abstract

Segmental phonetic articulation plays an important role in students' language performance. The purpose of this research is to show whether there is a correlation between accuracy. Pronunciation of segmental phonemes with the harmony of verbal language in english This study used a quantitative approach to the research design. Correlation. Samples are taken randomly or proportionally from each shift. 30 high school students participated in the partial random selection. collect skills Data on two variables with different speaking tests. Results of statistical analysis. The product moment correlation has value If rcount = 0.855 and rtable is 0.361 at a significance level of 0.05, then rcount > rtable. The coefficient of determination is 0.731 which means the yield is 73.1%. Linguistically determined by the correct pronunciation of the segment phonemes, the remaining 26.9 are determined by other factors. tcount(8.69) > ttable(1.701) proves its existence. Significant correlation. The results of this study indicate a relationship. Significant difference between segmental phoneme pronunciation accuracy and student performance word of mouth That's why teachers need to pay more attention. Partial phonemic understanding to avoid deep misunderstandings.

It is often difficult to understand the language of a speaker whose pronunciation is unclear. In fact, serious misunderstandings often occur due to unclear pronunciation. This study aims to (1) describe the characteristics of Indonesian segmental phonemes. (2) Describe the characteristics of segmental phonemes in Javanese. (3) Explain the difference between Indonesian and English segmental phoneme features.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of weaving activities on fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Al Inayah Klambir Lima. This type of research is experimental, using a pre-experimental research design using a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was the entire group of children aged 5-6 years at RA Al Inayah Klambir Lima with 15 students. The sample used in this study used saturated samples, meaning that all populations were sampled, totaling 15 children. Data collection techniques using observation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and the Wilcoxon test, which was continued with a significance test at 0.025. The results showed that the average value before the weaving activity (pre test) was categorized as sufficient with an average score = 1.82, while after the weaving activity (post test) was categorized as very good with an average score = 3.45. The results of the Wilcoxon test show the value of Whitung = 120> Wtabel = 25, because Whitung> Wtabel, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it is stated that weaving activities have a significant influence on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Al Inayah Klambir Lima.
