Abstract

Purus village in Padang City which has an area of 0.86 km2 consisting of 8 RW and 28 RT has a population of 8,075 people with a density of 11,875. As a result, people are always haunted by fear and always feel threatened if an earthquake occurs. If an earthquake and tsunami occur, what the community needs at that time is information about a safe zone that can be reached to save themselves and their families. For this reason, there needs to be an educational process for the community so that they have a culture of disaster awareness in the form of a system that is able to inform the community where the closest safe zone they can reach is the route they must take when a disaster strikes so that it can provide a sense of security because of safety guarantees. This study aims to determine the shortest route that can be taken by the user (community) during a disaster to reduce the risk of a greater number of victims by using the Breadth first search algorithm which is integrated into a web-based GIS application. By determining the starting point which is the user's position when the disaster occurs, and then determining the end point which is the location of the closest shelter, it will be possible to calculate the shortest distance that can be reached by the user at that time. The method chosen in this study is a waterfall because each step of the research carried out must be sequential and structured to avoid the risk of errors in each sequence of processes carried out. The results of this study can be proven by doing manual calculations to determine the shortest distance which will later be compared with the results of applications that have been designed using the BFS algorithm.

Abstract

West Sumatra is one of the cities in the province of West Sumatra which has great tourism potential, especially in cultural and historical tourism. Where in this city there are many tourist attractions. But in reality, information regarding this matter is still limited, especially for foreign tourists who are more familiar with Bali as Indonesia. One way to introduce tourism is by utilizing webGIS technology as the aim of this research is to produce a tourism webGIS for the city of West Sumatra which can be accessed via the internet. With webGIS, West Sumatra city tours can be displayed which are equipped with map location points and travel routes and can be accessed via an internet browser without the help of GIS processing software. The tours displayed are culinary tours, shopping tours,. Making webGIS using the gis mapping method by utilizing Google Maps API technology and the CodeIgniter Framework. With LBS, tourist location coordinates in the form of latitude and longitude originating from the Google Maps application can be easily entered into the webGIS code structure. This WebGIS was successfully accessed via an internet browser on both computer devices

Abstract

The utilization of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) has become crucial in the development of the tourism industry. This article presents a literature review on the application of GIS in the context of tourism. The review explores various GIS applications in destination management, tourism marketing, natural and cultural resource management, as well as tourism infrastructure development. The article also discusses the challenges and opportunities faced in adopting GIS in the tourism industry, including privacy issues, data integration, and sustainability. This research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the role and impact of GIS utilization in tourism development and to present future research directions in this field. By offering deep insights into the integration of GIS in the tourism industry, this article aims to provide guidance for practitioners, academics, and policymakers in harnessing the full potential of this technology to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of the tourism sector globally.

Abstract

Mukomuko is a district located in Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. This region is known for its stunning natural beauty, including mountains, plantations and rivers flowing through fertile land. Mukomuko is also known as a fertile agricultural area with agricultural products such as coffee, coconut and rubber. Apart from its natural riches, Mukomuko has cultural diversity which is reflected in local traditions, customs and art. The friendly and warm people create a homely and welcoming atmosphere for visitors. With its abundant natural and cultural potential, Mukomuko is an attractive tourism destination. Tourists can enjoy its natural beauty, explore the mountainous area, and experience the unique life of the local community. Abstract

Solok District, a government areas in West Sumatra Province located at the position between 01º 20'27 "-01º 21'39" south latitude and 100º-100º 25'00' 33'43 'east longitude. Formal legally, Solok regency formed by Law No. 12 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Autonomous Region in the Regional Environmental District of West Sumatra province. At this time, Solok regency consists of 14 sub-districts, 247 villages and 6 districts. So that the number of tourists continues to increase and is not experiencing saturation of the attractions, the need for development in the field of tourism. In order to get optimal results, the development in the field of tourism is not only supported by one party but is a collaboration of various parties, including the b usiness community, traditional leaders and the government. One area that has the potential for development of tourism and the need is of Solok district. In realizing the travel strategy then made a geographic information system-based tourism districts solok web with Google Maps API. The results of this study in the form of geographic information systems Solok regency tourism web based so the tourism information can be accessed by the public with easy, fast, economical, and can be done anywhere and anytime. All such information will be interconnected with each other.

Abstract

Hospitals are one of the public facilities owned by the government and the private sector which have a very strategic role in efforts to improve public services. So every community member is expected to know the locations of the hospitals closest to where they live to anticipate undesirable things. Creating a web-based hospital Geographic Information System (GIS) has the aim of the hospital's existence. The decision to choose the right and quick hospital is an important decision and at worst it could result in losing someone's life. GIS can represent the real world on a computer monitor just as a map sheet can represent the real world on paper. This system is very useful in making it easier for the public to see the location of hospitals in the city of Solok. The aim of this research is to build a geographic information system with an integrated database, especially to find the location of hospitals in the city of Solok. So it can provide information to users who want to find hospital locations in the city of Solok.

Abstract

Advances in technology in the computer sector that is so rapid has pushed the development of information. One of them is the geographical information of the world of tourism. The development of tourism information in the city of Padang, increased from year to year, but in promoting tourism, the Department of Tourism still uses manuals and is less widespread. Tourists who come to tourist attractions or the Department of Tourism will be given a booklet or guidebook. Information created by the local Tourism Office is very limited. Therefore the general public cannot get information about tourism. Then this is needed, a system that can support the selection of tourist destination locations for visitors to facilitate the achievement of tourist location information. In this research, the writer wants to build a tourism geographical information system in the form of digital maps that can provide complete information to tourists by using Google Maps as the main view of the map. This system is expected to provide accurate and relevant information for tourists. This research produces a geographic information system in Padang, which is web-based, where there are also tourist information, facilities such as locating tourist sites, and travel routes.

Abstract

Pariwisata Kota Payakumbuh: Pesona Budaya dan Alam yang Harmonis Kota Payakumbuh, terletak di Provinsi Sumatera Barat, Indonesia, telah menjadi destinasi pariwisata yang menarik dengan kombinasi pesona budaya dan keindahan alam yang harmonis. Abstrak ini membahas potensi pariwisata yang dimiliki oleh Kota Payakumbuh, mencakup aspek budaya, kuliner, dan alam yang unik. Pariwisata budaya di Kota Payakumbuh mencerminkan kekayaan warisan sejarah dan kebudayaan masyarakat Minangkabau. Wisatawan dapat menikmati pertunjukan tari tradisional, seperti tari Piring dan tari Saluang, yang menjadi ekspresi keindahan seni lokal. Selain itu, adanya rumah gadang, rumah tradisional Minangkabau, memberikan kesempatan bagi wisatawan untuk memahami lebih dalam kehidupan tradisional masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Tourism is a sector that continues to develop and has an important role in the economic growth of a region. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a technology that is able to combine spatial and non-spatial data to provide information that is more comprehensive and easy to understand. Abstract

This study aims to design the Rumah Parfum Lolong website as a medium for digital product development and marketing. In today's digital era, websites function as an important platform to increase market reach, facilitate transaction processes, and strengthen business image. This study uses a descriptive approach with literature study methods, observation, needs analysis, and direct testing of website design, customers, and potential customers. The results of the study show that the website that is designed is responsive, user-friendly, and equipped with e-commerce features that can improve operational efficiency and user convenience. Customers provide positive feedback on the visual design and ease of navigation, as well as the online ordering feature. Recommendations for further development include the addition of interactive elements, the development of product content personalization features, and strengthening digital marketing strategies through social media and email marketing. In conclusion, this website functions as an effective tool to support business development and online marketing of Rumah Parfum Lolong products.
