AN-NAHDLIYYAH: Jurnal Studi Keislaman, p-ISSN: 2716-0629, e -ISSN: 2830-7003 merupakan Jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Institut Nahdlatul Ulama (INU) Tasikmalaya. Artikel ilmiah pada An-Nahdliyyah: Jurnal Studi Keislaman merupakan hasil penelitian orisinil, ide konseptual, dan kajian terkini dalam ruang lingkup beberapa bidang, yakni: Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MPI), Hukum Keluarga Islam (HKI), dan Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam. Artikel ilmiah dapat ditulis perorangan maupun tim baik yang berafiliasi pada lembaga di lingkungan Institut Nahdlatul Ulama (INU) Tasikmalaya maupun di luar lembaga tersebut. Frekuensi dari terbitan AN-NAHDLIYYAH: Jurnal Studi Keislaman adalah 2 kali setahun. An-Nahdliyyah: Jurnal Studi Keislaman dikelola dan diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Institut Nahdlatul Ulama (INU) Tasikmalaya. Terbit dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Juni dan Desember. Jurnal ini mulai menggunakan Jurnal Online (e-journal) pada volume 1 No. 1 Juni 2022.

Abstract

Education is one of the main pillars in shaping high-quality individuals and societies. One aspect that influences the success and quality of educational institutions is financial management. Thus, several issues arise in this study regarding the process of managing educational financing as well as the supporting and hindering factors in the implementation of educational financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School in Tasikmalaya City. The objectives of this study are: to understand the management of educational financing and the supporting and hindering factors in the implementation of educational financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School in Tasikmalaya City. This study employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To verify the validity of the data, the researcher uses technique triangulation and source triangulation. The research results indicate that the management of educational financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School includes the following activities: financial planning activities at Al Muttaqin Senior High School involve the preparation of the School Budget Activity Plan (RKAS) and the development of the school financing budget. The implementation of educational financing includes the receipt and expenditure of funds. The sources of financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School come from the government, the foundation, and the school committee. Evaluation and accountability are carried out by the school to both internal and external parties. Some supporting factors in the management of educational financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School include thorough planning and accurate allocation, stable student numbers, competent and experienced administrative staff, and a transparent and accountable reporting system. On the other hand, hindering factors include discrepancies between the education report achievements and the foundation, technical obstacles, and some students experiencing delays in monthly or annual payments.

Abstract

Songs or music are one form of musical communication because they contain meaning with symbols contained in the lyrics. This study aims to reveal the hidden meaning of the song "Mangu" by Fourtwnty feat Charita Utami, especially in the context of interfaith love. This study uses a qualitative approach with Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic analysis method to distinguish between (signifier) ​​​​and signs (signified). which is emotionally complex, namely when starting from efforts to maintain relationships, to acceptance (surrender) due to differences in principles and directions of life. This study confirms that a musical work or song can function as a strong sign system to express meaning in conveying social and existential issues that are relevant to society.

Abstract

This article explores the underlying factors contributing to early divorce in the city of Tasikmalaya, with a specific focus on couples who ended their marriages within the first five years. The aim of this study is to identify and analyze the main triggers of early divorce based on the perspectives of individuals who have directly experienced it. The research employs a qualitative method through in-depth interviews with three participants who went through early divorce. In addition, a literature review of academic and religious references supports the findings. The results indicate that early divorce is generally caused by couples’ unpreparedness in facing the challenges of married life, a lack of understanding regarding marital roles and responsibilities, poor communication, and financial pressures. A significant factor is the absence of sufficient knowledge, emotional maturity, and readiness prior to marriage, which increases the vulnerability to conflicts in the early years of marriage. This issue is often exacerbated by societal tendencies to prioritize the ceremonial aspects of weddings over the substantive preparation for family life. While Islam permits divorce under certain conditions, it remains an act that is disliked by Allah SWT. Therefore, to prevent early divorce, it is crucial to strengthen the foundations of marriage through comprehensive premarital education—emotionally, spiritually, and financially—in order to build a harmonious and resilient family characterized by sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah.

Abstract

In the digital era, SIMPT is expected to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing educational data and information. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and complexity of the implementation of the Integrated Education Management Information System (SIMPT) in educational institutions, especially in SMP Plus Darussalam. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation methods and in-depth interviews with stakeholders, such as principals, administrative staff, and teachers who use the system. This study will analyze: Improving Administrative Efficiency and Decision Making, Positive Impact on Learning and Communication Quality, Importance of User Training and Support, and Influence of Leadership and Organizational Culture. The results of the study indicate that SIMPT has great potential in supporting school administration processes more efficiently, reducing data duplication, and accelerating the flow of information. However, its implementation is not without challenges. Some of the main obstacles found include limited technological infrastructure, such as unstable internet networks, low digital literacy of some users, and resistance to changing manual to digital systems. In addition, the need for ongoing training for system users is also an important factor in supporting successful implementation. Therefore, a strategy is needed to strengthen user capacity, policy support, and improve infrastructure to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of SIMPT in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the issues surrounding the granting of marriage dispensations in Indonesia, with a focus on the implementation of Articles 14 and 16 of Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) No. 5 of 2019 on Guidelines for Adjudicating Applications for Marriage Dispensation. This regulation emphasizes that judges must take into account the best interests of the child before granting permission for underage marriage. The study employs a normative juridical method with a conceptual and case study approach, analyzing several rulings from religious courts. The findings reveal that, although PERMA No. 5 of 2019 provides a solid framework for child protection, in practice, court decisions still tend to be based on urgent considerations such as pregnancy and the physical and spiritual readiness of the prospective bride and groom. Recommendations from psychologists, medical professionals, and child protection agencies (KPAID) are often not treated as primary considerations.

Abstract

The performance of teaching and educational staff is a key determinant in achieving the objectives of educational institutions. One contributing factor to improving such performance is the interpersonal communication of the principal (head of madrasah). This study aims to describe and analyze the practice of principals’ interpersonal communication, its supporting and inhibiting factors, and its implications for the performance of teaching and educational staff. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive-analytical techniques. The findings reveal that principals’ interpersonal communication is manifested through openness, support, empathy, expressiveness, and equality. Supporting factors include message clarity, ease of understanding, and communicants’ maturity of thought, while inhibiting factors involve physical and semantic barriers. Furthermore, principals’ interpersonal communication functions as a controlling instrument and a source of work motivation, thereby enhancing the performance of teaching and educational staff. These findings underscore the significance of principals’ interpersonal communication competence as an essential managerial strategy in educational human resource development.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the concept of the Smart Islamic School Management System (SISMS) as a management model for Islamic education that harmoniously integrates faith-based values with digital technological advancement. Using a library research approach, this study reviews relevant literature on Islamic education management, smart school systems, and the integration between spirituality and technological innovation. The literature analysis reveals a significant gap in implementing Islamic values within digital-based management systems in educational institutions. Therefore, SISMS is proposed as a conceptual model that balances administrative efficiency with Islamic spiritual principles through three key dimensions: managerial spirituality, data-driven governance, and ethical Islamic leadership. This model not only emphasizes professionalism and institutional performance effectiveness but also fosters blessing-oriented outcomes, moral responsibility, and a work culture grounded in faith. The findings imply that SISMS can serve as a new direction for the transformation of Islamic education management, creating a balanced synthesis between modern technological systems and the essential spiritual mission of Islamic education.

Abstract

The rapid development of communication technology has brought fundamental changes in the way spiritual messages and religious values ​​are distributed and received by contemporary society. In this digital landscape, audiovisual media such as songs and music have proven to be one of the most effective and powerful channels in conveying religious teachings and resonance. This research critically focuses on this phenomenon with the main objective of uncovering the profound meaning of tawakal (relief) reflected in the lyrics of the popular song “33x” by Perunggu. This research uses a qualitative method, this study uses Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic approach. This analytical framework is used to systematically dissect the linguistic structure of the lyrics, distinguishing between the signifier element (the form or sound of the word) and the signified (the concept or meaning referred to) in order to reveal the contained spiritual message. The results of this study show that the lyrics of the song “33x” do not simply contain, but intensely represent the meaning of tawakal. This song is presented through a complex and highly emotional lyrical narrative, depicting a spiritual journey that begins with the awareness of the necessity of complete surrender to God, then repeatedly reminding the listener to always bind themselves in dhikr and remember Him. This study strengthens the position of music as a contemporary da'wah medium that is relevant for the modern generation.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of intracurricular self-development activities, specifically sewing and agriculture, as an effort to enhance students' soft skills at MAS Ulul Abshar, Cianjur, in response to the demand for graduates who are not only academically intelligent but also possess strong non-academic abilities. This study used descriptive qualitative methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that these two activities are innovations aligned with the madrasah's vision and mission to produce independent, capable, and skilled graduates. These intracurricular activities serve as an effective means of instilling practical and soft skills values ​​, such as responsibility, independence, and entrepreneurship, which have proven to provide graduates with functional provisions in the real world of work, including working in a garment factory or starting a business based on agricultural and sewing products.

Abstract

The rise of radicalism and terrorism issues is partly due to the lack of support for character education in school educational institutions. The role of character education in the elementary school environment is very important, especially in building religious character. Religious character is one of the characters that guide students towards a generation with a high spiritual attitude. The achievement indicators are measured through a rubric for assessing attitudes and character periodically when students participate in daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities. Religious character can be realized through interesting activity programs. The purpose of this study is to describe religious character education at Paramadina Kediri Modern Elementary School. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The subjects in this study consisted of the Principal and Teachers. The results of the study describe several religious-based educational programs including congregational Dhuha Prayer, Morning Prayer Reading, Istighosah, Khotmil Al-Qur'an, Maqbaroh Pilgrimage, Yasin & Tahlil, Memorization of Short Surahs, Sholawat & Al-Banjari Art, Commemoration of Islamic Holidays, and Tadabur Alam. All of these programs are implemented in line with the school's curriculum and vision and mission. Through the existing activity program, it is hoped that it will become a habituation in order to improve the religious character of students at Paramadina Kediri Modern Elementary School.
