Abstract

Irrigation is an effort to provide water, manage water (management), and drainage for plant needs. Raharjo Farmers Group is one of the farmer groups in Gumukmas Village, Gumukmas District, Jember Regency, which is located close to the coastal area or can be said to be the most downstream area of ​​the flow. This research activity entitled "Assistance and Evaluation of Irrigation Water Availability in the Raharjo Farmers Group Area, Gumukmas Village, Gumukmas District, Jember Regency, was carried out with the aim of obtaining data and information related to water sources that irrigate agricultural land which are used as the basis for processing recommendation maps for assistance and evaluation of irrigation water availability. The first stage of this activity is carried out with direct survey and investigation activities in the field, at this stage existing field conditions will be obtained in the form of channel conditions, building conditions (if any), information on the Cropping Index, Cropping Patterns and so on. After the survey and investigation stages, the design planning stage continues, at this stage the data that has been collected will continue to the data processing stage according to the needs of the research activity. The final planned result is a thematic map containing information on points or recommendation points or channel problems. The thematic map is used as study material for the East Java Provincial Agriculture and Food Security Service as a reference for policy making for better development.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata merupakan salah satu wujud konkret pengabdian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat yang diharapkan bisa membantu untuk membangun dan mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh desa setempat. Program kerja yang dijalankan oleh KKN UMD 126 mengusung tema peningkatan literasi masyarakat. Dalam menjalankan program kerja dirancang sesuai dengan potensi serta permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi oleh masyarakat di Desa Paguan, yakni banyak anak-anak sekolah yang memiliki minat membaca rendah dan tingginya angka buta huruf dikalangan lansia. Metode pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode partisipatif melalui pelibatan antara penduduk lokal, pihak sekolah, dan pemerintah desa, program ini dirancang untuk menciptakan dampak positif jangka panjang dalam hal pendidikan dan literasi dengan membuat pojok baca. Kegiatan utama program meliputi pengajaran langsung di sekolah-sekolah setempat, pelatihan bagi pendidik serta membantu warga desa Paguan dengan mengajarkan membaca khususnya anak-anak dan penderita buta huruf. Selain itu mahasiswa KKN UMD 126 juga mengadakan kegiatan les bersama anak-anak untuk membantu mereka dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan berpikir kritis. Melalui pendekatan ini berhasil membawa dampak positif bahwa masyarakat Desa Paguan mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam kualitas pendidikan dan literasi, yang pada gilirannya akan memberikan manfaat jangka panjang bagi perkembangan sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya di wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

Premium rice “PB Rahma 35,” which is processed hygienically and in accordance with Islamic business principles, is the flagship product of CV. Rahma 35, a rice milling company located in Sidrap, South Sulawesi. However, the company's dependence on a single supplier, intense competition, and lack of transaction transparency make it difficult to gain the trust of suppliers and customers. This study recommends methods to enhance production, digital marketing, and direct sales while identifying supply chain management issues such as communication with suppliers and product quality perception. Interview results indicate that timely payments and support services like transportation and fertilizer assistance are crucial for building partner trust. These findings assist CV. Rahma 35 in improving its competitiveness and business procedures. The objectives of this community service activity are: to improve communication and transparency between CV. Rahma 35 and its business partners, use guidance and training to strengthen fair and sustainable partnership structures, and establish a feedback system to evaluate and enhance partner trust. Conducted from March to May 2025, the CV. Rahma 35 Management Team actively participated in: Program planning through FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and evaluating the results of the community service program together with the team. Through strategic efforts such as conducting focused group discussions (FGD), strengthening the partnership system, and providing complaint services via WhatsApp, CV Rahma's community service program has successfully increased client trust.
