Abstract

This community service program aimed to broaden high school students’ understanding of career opportunities for physics graduates, who are often associated only with teaching, lecturing, or research. The activity was conducted as an interactive talk show for 23 grade XI students of SMAIT Daarul ‘Ilmi, beginning with a brief introduction to the Physics Department of FMIPA Universitas Lampung. Five physics students then shared their internship experiences at PT Surya Toto Indonesia, PT Bakti Nugraha Yuda Energy, and PTPN I Regional 7 Unit Usaha Pematang Kiwah (PEWA). The method used was participatory presentation followed by question-and-answer sessions after each speaker. During the activity, the students were actively engaged, asked relevant questions, and showed strong interest in the diverse roles of physics graduates in industry. The results indicate that the talk show effectively expanded students’ career insight and helped change their perception that physics is limited to academic professions. This activity can be used as an educational model to introduce broader physics career pathways to senior high school students.

Abstract

This study discusses changes in learning methods in the digital era at SMP Islam Annur Prima Terpadu, where learning activities now rely more on screens than traditional blackboards. This change shows that learning methods have evolved along with technological developments. Digital learning is not only used to deliver learning materials, but also to make the learning process more interesting for students. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data, triangulation techniques were used. The data analysis process was carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that digital-based learning at SMP Islam Annur Prima Terpadu has been implemented well, supported by facilities such as laptops, projectors, and online learning platforms. Teachers are also fairly prepared to use technology in the learning process. As a result, students become more interested in learning, find it easier to search for information, and become more skilled in using technology. However, there are also several challenges, such as students easily losing focus and becoming too dependent on digital devices.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in addressing moral crises by internalizing the values of trust and honesty as an anti-corruption effort. The background of this research is the limited application of moral values in students' lives and the lack of optimal integration of anti-corruption education into PAI learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review type that focuses on the analysis of previous research in the form of journals and scientific articles in the last five years. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation studies, while data analysis uses descriptive techniques by studying, grouping, and interpreting findings from various studies. The results of the study show that PAI has a strategic role in instilling the value of trust and honesty, but its implementation still faces obstacles such as learning approaches that tend to be theoretical, a lack of habituation, and the systematic integration of anti-corruption education in the curriculum. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen a more contextual and sustainable learning strategy so that these values can be internalized in real life in students' lives.

Abstract

Calligraphy is usually associated with the word khat, which is a skill, the skill of writing Arabic letters beautifully. Judged by its visual beauty, not by the content or material of the author. Calligraphy is also Arabic writing which has certain rules for making letters and how to connect the letters. Calligraphy has a very important role in writing skills (mahārah al kitābah) because it makes a big contribution to the process of writing Arabic letters. In several educational institutions in Indonesia, calligraphy is placed as a subject, because calligraphy more or less influences students' writing skills, but in several other educational institutions they consider that calligraphy is only limited to beautiful writing or art, so they place calligraphy in the extracurricular section, they argue that The imla' subject alone is sufficient in the process of learning to write Arabic, even though in the process of learning to write Arabic, calligraphy and imla' are two pairs that are really needed and both are related and related.   This research discusses the impact of the absence of calligraphy subjects on students' writing skills (mahārah al kitābah), especially at the Al Ihsan Labura Islamic boarding school which places calligraphy as an extracurricular activity only.

Abstract

Advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology offer new opportunities to improve the quality of learning, including in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study aims to determine the perceptions of PAI teachers regarding the use of AI as a learning medium in the city of Medan. This study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive survey method. The research subjects consisted of 30 PAI teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using percentages. The results indicate that the majority of teachers hold positive perceptions regarding the use of AI. Teachers view AI as relevant to current educational needs, capable of helping to improve the quality of PAI instruction, and supportive of increasing students’ interest in learning. However, AI still requires teacher guidance to ensure its use aligns with educational objectives.
