Abstract

To obtain maximum access speed with limited bandwidth resources, bandwidth requires good regulation to maintain data transfer in a computer network so that data queues do not accumulate due to overloaded access requests in the network, hence the need for Bandwidth Management in a computer network. . Bandwidth Management functions to regulate network bandwidth so that each network user gets equal bandwidth. The Surabaya City Government is an agency that uses computer networks to integrate all existing data. Everything is connected into one unit centered at the Surabaya City Dinkominfo Secretariat Office. In this network there is a Fiber Optic network and an external Fiber Optic network. What will be implemented in this research is on an external fiber optic network. The problem currently being faced is the need for good network management so that the performance of the network being built is in accordance with the devices that have been prepared. The method used is Queue Tree from the MikroTik router. The result of implementing Bandwidth Management is that the network quality using the Queue Tree method is more optimal, because the bandwidth will be divided according to the rules applied to bandwidth management so that clients get bandwidth according to the rules.

Abstract

In the ever-growing digital era, Information Technology (IT) infrastructure security has become an urgent need. Cybersecurity threats are increasingly complex and diverse, requiring organizations to adopt a proactive approach to protecting systems and data. This research aims to conduct an IT infrastructure security analysis and identify effective strategies in dealing with cyber security threats. The research method used is literature study, with a focus on the latest literature discussing cyber security, IT infrastructure and related technologies. The analysis was conducted to evaluate commonly used security frameworks and identify current trends, challenges and solutions in addressing cybersecurity threats. The research results show that successful IT infrastructure security requires a holistic approach that includes technical aspects, policies and human resource training. Regular software updates, implementation of advanced security technologies, and proactive monitoring can help reduce the risk of cyber threats. In addition, strict security policies and ongoing training for personnel are key to mitigating risks.

Abstract

The selection of thesis supervisors at Universitas Baturaja is currently based on student proposals. This process is typically conducted manually and lacks a computerized system. Additionally, the assignment of thesis supervisors often overlooks the workload balance, resulting in an uneven distribution of supervisory duties among lecturers and sometimes misaligning with their areas of expertise. Given these challenges, a decision support system is needed to facilitate the selection process for thesis supervisors. This study aims to apply the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to the selection of thesis supervisors. Based on the calculations, the application of the SAW method evaluates four criteria: education, academic rank, field of expertise, and supervisory workload. The final assessment results indicate that the highest score, 88.8, was achieved by Alternative 5, Hendra.

Abstract

The Pesona Karanganyar website serves as an information platform accessible to all users without limitations. This official website provides comprehensive information about tourism destinations, events, and available facilities. It aims to deliver an informative and interactive experience for users, making it easier for them to plan trips and explore the beauty of Karanganyar. To provide excellent service to potential visitors, it is crucial to enhance the website's quality by assessing user satisfaction, identifying existing issues, and considering improvements for future development. This study evaluates the quality of the Pesona Karanganyar website using the WebQual 4.0 method. Data collection was conducted through surveys using a Google Form questionnaire based on WebQual dimensions, involving a total of 60 respondents. The validity and reliability of the data were tested as prerequisites. Data analysis involved calculating scores and averages for each indicator. The results of this analysis indicate that the usability, information quality, and interaction quality variables of the Pesona Karanganyar website are of good quality. These findings suggest that the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Karanganyar Regency should regularly evaluate the website's maintenance and development to improve the quality of its services.

Abstract

Aptikom merupakan badan organisasi yang didalamnya tergabung perguruan tinggi dan prodi bidang Informatika dan Komputer seluruh Indonesia, beralamat web di aptikom.org, situs ini merupakan perpanjangan tangan Aptikom dalam menyampaikan informasi dan proker-proker pada calon anggota dan anggotanya. Situs ini juga mencantumkan pendaftaran online danperpanjangan keanggotaan dengan media Google Form yang ditempelkan pada web aptikom, oleh karena itu penulis merasa tertarik untuk mengevaluasi dan mengeksplorasi web tersebut. Penulis menggunakan metode CKM untuk sebagai dasar evaluasinya, dimana fokus poin penilaian ada pada segi konten dan informasi, segi layouting dan segi fitur tambahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, rata – rata web Aptikom sudah sangat baik sebagai media informasi anggotanya, namun penulis menemukan beberapa halaman yang masih blank dan tidak menampilkan uraian berita web apapun. Selain itu dari segi layouting, penulis merasa editor web sangat menghargai keindahan seni pengolahan tata layout pada web Aptikom, dengan ditemukannya contohnya pada halaman Sejarah Aptikom, dengan penegasan teks menggunakan bold dan Capitalize Each Word. Dari segi fitur tambahan, peneliti menghighligt halaman login yang penulis belum merasa cukup untuk mendapatkan datanya

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan Penelitian ini adalah membangun sistem monitoring parameter kualitas air kolam budidaya ikan tawar di Lab APAT SMKN 2 Ketapang. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menyumbangkan kajian ilmiah dalam bidang perancangan dan pengembangan sistem informasi. Pada sistem monitoring nantinya siswa dan guru dapat melakukan kontrol parameter kualitas air yaitu suhu dan pH tanpa harus mengecek satu per satu kolam budidaya. Sistem ini menyediakan fitur pengontrolan suhu dan pH memanfaatkan Wireless Sensor Netwrok (WSN) sehingga apabila terdapat kolam budidaya yang mengalami kenaikan maupun penurunan parameter kualitas air langsung dapat diketahui dan dapat segera diberi perlakuan khusus. Sistem monitoring memanfaatkan WSN dibuat untuk membantu proses kontrol parameter kualitas air yang pada awalnya harus dilakukan secara manual dengan membutukan waktu sekitar 30 menit sampai dengan 1 jam untuk mengecek masing-masing kolam. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem tersebut kegiatan mengecek parameter kualitas air menjadi lebih hemat waktu maupun tenaga serta dapat meningkatkan keakuratan dalam pemeriksaan parameter kualitas air dan sistem tersebut dapat membantu para taruna/taruni maupun guru untuk monitoring dari jarak jauh tanpa harus datang ke kolam budidaya. Sistem kontrol parameter kualitas air tersebut dibuat berbasis Android agar dapat diakses dan terjangkau selama prosesmonitoring. Monitoring dilakukan agar semua data informasi yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan tersebut dapat menjadi landasan dalam mengambil keputusan tindakan selanjutnya yang diperlukan.
