Abstract

This study is an event-based study that aims to evaluate the impact of the 2023 Indonesian MotoGP championship on the response of the Indonesian capital market, with a focus on business entities in the transportation sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The secondary data used in this study is sourced from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website and Yahoo Finance is used as information. The duration of the observation covers 10 days before (D-10) to 10 days after (D+10) MotoGP events. Paired sample t-test and wilcoxon signed rank test are applied in the analysis method. The findings of the study explained: 1) there was no relevant variation in returns before and after the Indonesian MotoGP event; 2) abnormal returns before and after the Indonesian MotoGP event did not indicate a significant difference; 3) differences in the level of trading volume activity before and after the Indonesian MotoGP event were found. This research provides important insights into the impact of events.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of carbon emission disclosure, financial performance, eco-efficiency, and green innovation on company value, with environmental performance as a moderating variable. Secondary data was collected through documentation techniques from sustainability reports and annual reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2019 to 2023. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression with the help of the Eviews application. The research results show that disclosure of carbon emissions and financial performance has a significant positive influence on company value. Apart from that, eco-efficiency and green innovation also contribute to increasing company value. Environmental performance as a moderating variable is proven to strengthen the relationship between carbon emission disclosure and company value, as well as between financial performance and company value. These findings provide empirical contributions to the accounting and business practice literature, and encourage companies to increase transparency in disclosing environmental information in order to achieve higher corporate value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the factors that influence the desire of MSMEs established by students. This research approach collects data through literature studies, which involve reading literature from various sources including books, journals and reports using qualitative and deductive approaches. The findings in this study are that there are two factors that influence MSMEs established by students, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors include managerial skills, innovation and creativity, and availability of capital. While external factors include access to markets, government policies, and market competition. In addition, there are strategies for the sustainability of MSMEs established by students, including improving management skills, developing solid business plans, increasing innovation and creativity, strong collaboration and networks, and sustainable growth of MSMEs.

Abstract

             The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility study of investment in developing MSMEs in the culinary sector. The objects of this study are from the aspect of business feasibility studies, namely: 1) Marketing aspects; 2) Legal aspects; and 3) Social and economic aspects. The study of business feasibility analysis in culinary MSME businesses uses qualitative research methods which are carried out in analyzing and assessing the feasibility of developing a business. Qualitative data obtained based on the results of interviews and observations. The results of this study found that the development of culinary MSMEs has great potential, especially with the right marketing approach, a deep understanding of market potential, and a mature investment feasibility analysis. In conducting a feasibility study, it is important to consider marketing aspects, market potential, and realistic financial analysis so that culinary businesses can develop and compete sustainably. The feasibility study of investment in the development of MSMEs in the culinary sector provides a clearer picture of business prospects, the risks involved, and the potential profits that can be obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, financial performance, and women on board on carbon emission disclosure. The research utilize secondary data in the form of annual reports and sustainability reports of the companies. The population of this study consists of companies in the energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021-2023 period. The data collection method employed in this study is purposive sampling with unbalanced data. A total of 147 companies data points met the criterias. The data analysis method used is quatitative, utilizing SPSS 30 for multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that financial performance has a positive effect on carbon emission disclosure, while institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and women on board have no effect on carbon emission disclosure

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability (ROA), leverage (DER), intellectual capital (VACA), and audit reputation on company value in the food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing industry consistently listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the reporting period from 2019 to 2023. Data obtained using purposive sampling techniques and processed through multiple linear regression analysis with the Stata statistical application concluded that there was no significant effect of profitability and leverage on Firm value, in contrast to intellectual capital which had a negative and significant effect. In contrast to audit reputation which has a significant positive effect on firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of product quality, brand awareness, and celebrity endorsers on purchasing decisions for Nivea hand and body lotion. This research employs an explanatory research method with a quantitative approach, involving 200 female respondents aged 10–26 years residing in Surakarta City. Data collection was conducted through an online questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings indicate that product quality, brand awareness, and the use of celebrity endorsers have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. The study also identifies limitations, including the relatively small sample size and potential response bias. Therefore, it is recommended that the company enhance product quality, maintain positive perceptions through social media, and carefully select appropriate celebrity endorsers. Future research is encouraged to involve a larger number of respondents to improve the representativeness of the results.

Abstract

This study focuses on the effectiveness and capacity of Zakat, Infak, and Shadaqah (ZIS) fund distribution by Dompet Dhuafa Waspada and the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources for this study were primary and secondary data, as well as literature studies. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis technique used data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing methods. The effectiveness of ZIS fund distribution was measured using the Allocation to Collection Ratio (ACR) ratio based on the Zakat Core Principle (ZCP). The results show that Dompet Dhuafa Waspada has a very effective performance, with an average ACR reaching 90% in the last five years. In 2019, the ACR value was recorded at 87% in the effective category, in 2020, the ACR dropped to 71% in the effective category, then the ACR recovered to 74% in the effective category in 2021. At its peak, in 2022 and 2023, the ACR jumped to 106%. This shows a very good capacity in the management and distribution of ZIS funds that are right on target. The implementation of Good Corporate Governance is carried out through the principles of accountability, transparency, responsibility, independence, and equality, all of which increase public trust and the credibility of the institution. This study is expected to encourage more people to channel social funds through Dompet Dhuafa Waspada.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors affecting firm value in food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period of 2021-2023. The research is quantitative, using statistical analysis and secondary data derived from financial statements. The dependent variable is firm value, measured using Price to Book Value (PBV), while the independent variables include investment decisions (Price Earnings Ratio/PER), financing decisions (Debt to Equity Ratio/DER), dividend policy (Dividend Payout Ratio/DPR), and profitability (Return on Equity/ROE). The analysis method employed is multiple linear regression, preceded by classical assumption testing. The results reveal that investment decisions and profitability have a positive effect on firm value, while financing decisions and dividend policy do not significantly affect firm value. The study is limited by a small sample size and a short research period.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of online content on tourist behavior intention at Solo Safari, mediated by satisfaction and digital marketing interaction. The research method used is a quantitative causal approach with primary data collected through online questionnaires distributed to tourists who visited Solo Safari in the past 3 months and interacted with posts on Instagram. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, and the number of respondents was calculated between 125 to 250 individuals. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3 software. The results show that online content positively and significantly influences satisfaction, revisit intention, digital marketing interaction, and E-WOM, both directly and through satisfaction as a mediator. The study suggests focusing on content that enhances visitor satisfaction and improving the questionnaire design in future research.
