Abstract

The aim of this community service is to provide local business people with the knowledge they need to invest in Indonesia. The most recent investment-related laws and regulations are also covered in this activity. This activity provides explanations on a variety of investment-related topics as well as the most recent data on how simple it is to invest in Indonesia. This is crucial for improving investor comprehension so that they can always operate and grow their businesses in accordance with the most recent rules established by the Indonesian government. This includes understanding the rights that investors can obtain as well as the responsibilities that investors must fulfill when operating a business in Indonesia. The goal of this activity is also to help business actors submit LKPM (Investment Activity Reports) by online submission and to help business investors in the Southwest Aceh District understand the Investment Policy for conducting business and the implementation of the current Investment Policy.

Abstract

Islam considers working as a virtue and essential for the fulfilment of one’s basic living needs. However, the effect of Islamic religiosity on Islamic work ethics (IWE) has not been thoroughly examined. This study conceptualizes the relationship between Islamic religiosity and IWE. Additionally, it hypothesizes the moderation of income level, education level, and religious education background between Islamic religiosity and IWE. The findings will contribute novel knowledge on the relationship between Islamic religiosity and IWE. Islamic religiosity is expected to positively influence IWE. Income level, religious education background, and education level are expected to positively moderate between Islamic religiosity and IWE.

Abstract

The rise of online gambling in society is increasingly concerning. The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) found that financial transactions related to online gambling reached IDR 101 trillion until the first quarter of 2024. Raids carried out by the authorities often catch online gambling perpetrators not only adults but also teenagers. The method used in this community service activity is to conduct presentations in delivering materials and interactive discussions with participants. The activity results show that most teenagers gamble online because they start with curiosity and want to know. Hence, they decide to try it first until they finally become addicted. This community service activity is one of the activities that support the Aceh Government's efforts to eradicate gambling activities, especially in the West Aceh Region. The results of this activity are expected to provide awareness and early prevention for teenagers so that they do not fall too far into activities that are not beneficial and have many negative effects that will ultimately hinder the productivity of teenagers

Abstract

The increasingly lucrative Muslim market has caught much attention from Muslim and non-Muslim tourism service providers. They have begun offering services and products that suit the demands and needs of Muslims, while still maintaining their non-Muslim clienteles. Different qualifiers have been used to terms such kind of tourism, including halal, Islamic, Sharīʿah, and Muslim-friendly. There is currently a large disparity among stakeholders of such tourism in the understanding of the meaning and scope of these terms, which could lead to severe misunderstandings among them. This paper attempts to elucidate the similarities and differences of those terms and promote the appropriate usage for each term. It also discusses the implications of each term and how it may affect the perception of Muslim and non-Muslim travelers.

Abstract

English subject is one of important subjects in Indonesian national curriculum, including the boarding school curriculum. As in boarding school curriculum, the students are obligated to speak in foreign language (English or Arabic) in their daily routine. Because Islamic boarding school curriculums are mostly written and spoken in Arabic, sometimes the students feel unwillingly to study English. The purpose of this study is to improve the students’ interest in learning English in Insan Qurani Islamic boarding school. This activity is held by giving the material and giving the examples of using English and its importance in daily life. The result of this activity shows the improvement of students’ interest in learning English. It can be seen from their enthusiasm and participate during the activity and also reading the text asked by facilitator

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of understanding the spending behavior of State Civil Servants (ASN), given that a relatively stable income is not always accompanied by sound financial management. Furthermore, there is a lack of research examining this phenomenon among ASN in island regions, specifically in Pulau Banyak District, Aceh Singkil Regency. This study aims to determine how lifestyle and financial planning influence the spending patterns of civil servants in Pulau Banyak District, Aceh Singkil Regency. A quantitative method was employed, involving 64 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. The results indicate that lifestyle does not have a significant effect on spending patterns; however, sound financial planning exerts a positive and significant influence on how they spend their money. These findings suggest that financial planning plays a crucial role in shaping wiser spending behavior among ASN.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity and capital structure on firm value in food and staples retailing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2025 period. This research used a quantitative approach. The population in this study consisted of food and staples retailing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2025 period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in 11 companies as research samples. Secondary data were used in this study in the form of financial statements of food and staples retailing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2025 period. The analytical methods used were multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and F-test. The independent variables used were liquidity and capital structure, while the dependent variable used was firm value. The results of this study indicate the multiple linear regression equation as follows: LN (Y) = 1.22 – 0.66 LN (X1) + 0.14 X2 + e. The results of the t-test show that: (1) liquidity has a significant effect on firm value, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.01 < 0.05 with a negative direction, (2) capital structure has a significant effect on firm value, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 with a positive direction. The results of the F-test indicate that liquidity and capital structure simultaneously have a significant effect on firm value in Food and Staples Retailing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2025 period.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure on stock returns in mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2024 period. ESG is a non-financial indicator that is increasingly being paid attention to by investors because it reflects the company's commitment to managing environmental, social, and governance risks, especially in the mining sector which has a high level of operational and reputational risk. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from annual reports and sustainability reports. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample number of 15 companies, so that 75 research observations were obtained. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression with classical assumption test as a condition for model feasibility. The results of the study show that partially the Environmental  variable has a positive but insignificant effect on stock returns, Social  variables have a negative but insignificant effect on stock returns, while  the Governance variable  has a negative and significant effect on stock returns. Simultaneously, ESG disclosure has a significant effect on the return of shares of mining sector companies with a significance value of 0.019 < 0.05. The implications of this study show that ESG disclosure has an important role in influencing investor perception, so that mining sector companies are expected to improve the quality and consistency of ESG disclosure as part of a strategy to increase corporate value and investor confidence in the capital market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Financial Influencers, Financial Literacy, and Self-Control on Investment Decisions among the people of West Aceh. The rapid growth of digital technology has encouraged individuals to access financial information through social media, where Financial Influencers play a major role in shaping investment behavior. This research uses a quantitative method with questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who have engaged in investment activities. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²) with SPSS version 25. The results show that Financial Influencers have a significant effect on investment decisions. Financial Literacy also has a positive and significant influence, meaning that higher financial knowledge leads to better investment decisions. Self-Control significantly affects investment decisions, indicating that self- regulation is crucial in making rational financial choices. Simultaneously, all three variables have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. This study concludes that improving financial literacy, self-control, and the wise use of social media can foster smart and sustainable investment behavior in West Aceh.
