Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence on product quality and service quality on purchasing decisions at the Yapia Parung Vocational School Business Center in Bogor Regency, either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study were teachers, staff and also students of Yapia Parung Vocational School in Bogor Regency, totaling 1,060 students in 2021. The method used is an associative quantitative research method. Determining the number of samples used was using a probability sampling technique using the Slovin 5% formula, namely 92 people. There are several analytical methods used in this research, namely descriptive statistical analysis, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, statistical test, correlation coefficient test, and hypothesis test with the help of SPSS 25 software. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it was found that product quality had a significant effect. on purchasing decisions at the Yapia Parung Vocational School Bussines Center in Bogor Regency with a value of tcount>ttable or (14.620>1.987) with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded that partially product quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions at Businesses Yapia Parung Vocational School Center in Bogor Regency. Based on the results of the service quality hypothesis test on purchasing decisions tcount > ttable or (17.657 > 1.987) with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, it can be concluded that partially service quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the value Fcount>Ftable or (169.554 > 4.504) was obtained with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, so it can be concluded that simultaneously product quality and service quality together have a significant influence on purchasing decisions at the Business Center. Abstract

This research aims to analyze effective marketing strategies in increasing sales of PT Universal Card Indonesia in the hotel industry. Key cards are a critical tool in hotel operations, and increasing sales can impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach on several hotels that have succeeded in increasing their sales through appropriate marketing strategies. Based on the results of the analysis, the marketing strategy was carried out using SWOT analysis. Apart from that, implementing a more personalized marketing strategy at PT Universal Card Indonesia. And the research instruments used are observation, interviews, documentation and the researchers themselves. This research concludes that by implementing the right marketing strategy, key card sales can increase significantly, which in turn can increase revenue and customer loyalty.

Abstract

The reliance of conventional Internet of Things (IoT) systems on cloud connectivity often presents a significant barrier to the digitalization of livestock farming in areas with limited internet access. This study aims to design a multipurpose egg incubator system that operates independently using edge-mobile communication via a Local Area Network (LAN) and implements Fuzzy Logic algorithms for microclimate control. The system is constructed using an ESP32 as a client responsible for acquiring DHT22 sensor data and controlling actuators, and a Flutter-based smartphone acting as a local server and edge computing interface. Performance testing results demonstrate high system reliability with an average communication latency of 17.04 ms. The implementation of Fuzzy control proved effective in maintaining temperature stability with an operational average of 30.5°C. However, this study identified two operational limitations: first, the average humidity parameter was recorded at 80.7% (above the ideal range of 40-70%) due to the limited power capacity of the exhaust fan; second, continuous real-time data communication requires the smartphone application to remain in an active state (foreground). This research concludes that the LAN-based edge-mobile architecture is effective as a robust IoT alternative solution for remote areas, provided that mechanical actuator specifications and application state management are adjusted for optimal performance.

Abstract

Philosophy of science can be a critical dialogue partner for the development of science. This is because the philosophy of science is essentially an effort to study philosophical issues related to science. Educational administration as a whole process related to educational activities including direction, planning, coordination, financing, reporting, to supervision in order to cover education. The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze various journals related to the Philosophy of science in relation to educational administration. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method and identifies data sources one by one according to the specified steps and procedures. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the philosophy of science in the context of educational administration for maximum results when applied in educational institutions. By identifying trends, gaps, and potential developments in this field, this study makes a significant contribution to strengthening the philosophical basis in administrative decision-making. In addition, the findings of this study can be a foundation for academics, policymakers, and practitioners to develop a more holistic, contextual, and relevant educational administration model to the challenges of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan PSAK 73 tentang Sewa terhadap rasio leverage, yaitu Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), pada perusahaan subsektor transportasi darat yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018–2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif dengan teknik purposive sampling terhadap delapan perusahaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik pada rasio DAR dan DER sebelum dan sesudah penerapan PSAK 73. Meskipun secara deskriptif terdapat sedikit peningkatan pada nilai rata-rata leverage, namun peningkatan tersebut tidak cukup besar untuk membentuk perubahan yang signifikan secara agregat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dampak PSAK 73 terhadap struktur keuangan bersifat heterogen antar perusahaan, tergantung pada intensitas penggunaan sewa. Namun, secara konseptual, penerapan PSAK 73 tetap meningkatkan transparansi dan representasi posisi keuangan perusahaan yang lebih realistis

Abstract

Struktur modal tidak hanya berkaitan dengan cara perusahaan membiayai operasinya, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai bahasa tersirat untuk berkomunikasi dengan investor. Studi berjudul “The Art of Capital Structure: Bagaimana Perubahan Keuangan Menjadi Bahasa Sinyal Bagi Investor” membahas bagaimana keputusan keuangan korporat dapat mengirimkan pesan atau sinyal tertentu di pasar modal. Dengan pendekatan teori sinyal, studi ini menjelaskan bahwa pilihan antara pembiayaan utang dan ekuitas bukan hanya keputusan teknis, tetapi juga mencerminkan keyakinan manajemen terhadap prospek dan kinerja perusahaan. Perusahaan yang dapat menyeimbangkan struktur modalnya menunjukkan kemampuan mereka dalam mengelola risiko sambil mempertahankan kepercayaan investor. Namun, perubahan besar dalam pembiayaan dapat menimbulkan interpretasi yang berbeda, tergantung pada konteks dan kondisi perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, seni mengelola struktur modal tidak hanya terletak pada perhitungan angka dan biaya, tetapi juga pada cara perusahaan membangun citra dan persepsi positif di mata pasar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu kita memahami bahwa keuangan tidak hanya tentang angka, tetapi juga cara strategis untuk berkomunikasi dan membangun kepercayaan.

Abstract

Retail layout plays a strategic role in determining operational efficiency and customer convenience. This study aims to analyze and redesign the product display layout at CS Wholesale and Retail Store in Sukabumi Regency using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Total Closeness Rating (TCR) methods. Data collection was conducted through direct observation and interviews with store personnel. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively by identifying the proximity relationship between product categories and converting it into numerical values to determine shelf placement priorities. The results showed that the initial layout was not yet optimal due to the unsystematic arrangement of products and the absence of clear zoning, making it difficult for consumers to find items and hindering movement flow within the store. Based on TCR calculations, the beverage category had the highest correlation value and became the top priority in the rearrangement, followed by the snack and staple food categories. The redesigned layout resulted in more structured product zoning, clarified the consumer shopping flow, and improved space utilization efficiency and customer comfort. Thus, the application of the ARC and TCR methods proved to be effective as a systematic approach to optimizing retail layout and improving grocery store service quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze investment feasibility in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through a literature review approach using two primary methods: Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The analysis is conducted by reviewing five previous studies that applied both methods to various MSME sectors. The findings show that four MSMEs—the vegetable farming business, Laga Lagi Thrift, Cokelat Cozy, and medicinal plant cultivation—obtained positive NPV values and IRR levels exceeding the discount rate, indicating financial feasibility. In contrast, the Sate Taichan Kitee MSME recorded a negative NPV and an IRR below the cost of capital, making the investment financially unfeasible. This study highlights that NPV and IRR are effective instruments for evaluating investment profitability and risk in MSMEs. The combined use of both methods provides a comprehensive foundation for rational and data-driven investment decision-making.

Abstract

Education is a strategic process largely determined by the quality of educators in designing, managing, and guiding the learning process. This study aims to analyze the optimization of classroom management through collaboration between lecturers and students to improve the effectiveness of Introductory Islamic Studies learning for first-semester students in the islamic psychology Education (PI) Study Program at Tribakti Islamic University. The need for participatory and adaptive classroom management is crucial given the characteristics of today's generation of students who demand more dialogic interactions. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, this study found that collaborative-based classroom management can create a more interactive and conducive learning environment and increase student motivation and discipline. This collaboration also strengthens learning responsibility and improves two-way communication, resulting in increased understanding of the Introductory Islamic Studies material. This demonstrates that collaborative classroom management is an effective strategy for improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes in Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

A defacement attack on the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) demonstrates that government web applications still contain serious security gaps that can be exploited by malicious actors, indicating insufficient implementation of best-practice security standards. This study aims to analyze the security level of the Kemendagri website using the OWASP Web Security Testing Guide (WSTG) methodology. The research applies the OWASP WSTG testing framework to identify vulnerabilities related to authentication, authorization, input validation, server configuration, and system update management. The analysis compares field findings with WSTG testing categories to determine the most significant risk points. Supporting data were obtained from the reported defacement incident, which helps strengthen the threat context and illustrate the exploitation patterns involved. The results indicate that weaknesses in administrative access and suboptimal server configuration were the primary factors enabling the defacement attack. The application of OWASP WSTG proved effective in identifying critical vulnerabilities that could be exploited in government web applications. This study provides important contributions to government institutions by offering practical guidance for improving web application security through standardized testing, ongoing system maintenance, and the implementation of stronger security controls.
