Abstract

Education plays an important role in shaping the future of a nation, so that educational reforms continue to be carried out to improve its quality. One of the latest policies in the Indonesian education system is the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, which aims to create more relevant, contextual, and inclusive learning. However, the implementation of this curriculum faces various challenges, especially in the implementation of differentiated learning at the Senior High School (SMA) level. This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated learning in the Independent Curriculum in Senior High Schools in Bangkinang, Kampar Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers. Data analysis was carried out by following the five-phase cycle of Yin (2011), namely compiling, dismantling, assembling, interpreting, and concluding. The results of the study show that the implementation of differentiated learning still faces various obstacles, such as limited teacher technology skills, low student interest in learning, and monotonous classroom conditions. However, there are opportunities to improve the effectiveness of learning through teacher training, utilization of technology, and more interesting and varied learning strategies. The conclusion of this study confirms that although differentiated learning in the Independent Curriculum still faces various challenges, efforts to improve teacher skills and more innovative learning strategies can help optimize its implementation. Recommendations from this study are expected to be input for schools and policy makers in improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Using qualitative methods, this study aims to describe the practice of differentiated learning in grade X of high school, identify obstacles faced by teachers, analyze factors that influence the success of implementing differentiated learning from the perspective of Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy, and determine the perceptions of teachers and students. The results of the study indicate that efforts to differentiated learning have been made, but there are still obstacles such as lack of understanding of concepts, high workload, and lack of support from the school environment. The success of implementing differentiated learning is influenced by how far teachers live the values of humanity and their ability to make students independent. Teachers' and students' perceptions of differentiated learning vary, but generally show great potential. This study concludes that differentiated learning is an approach that is relevant to Indonesian educational values, but requires stronger support from various parties.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by teachers in implementing differentiated instruction in mathematics lessons in the XII IPS class at SMA Negeri Bangkinang Kota. Differentiated instruction is an approach tailored to students' needs, interests, and abilities, allowing each student to learn according to their own pace and learning style. The findings of the study indicate that the main challenges in implementing differentiated instruction include teachers' limited understanding of the concept, constraints of time and resources, and students' insufficient foundational knowledge in mathematics. Teachers also face difficulties in effectively mapping students' needs, which hinders the success of differentiated instruction. The solutions proposed include increasing the availability and utilization of diverse learning materials, using technology to support more interactive learning, extending planning and implementation time, and providing training for teachers to enhance their competency in designing differentiated lessons. Additionally, collaboration between teachers, school principals, and relevant stakeholders is necessary to provide adequate resources and infrastructure. With the implementation of these solutions, it is expected that differentiated instruction can be carried out more effectively and optimally, leading to improved student learning outcomes in mathematics classes.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the economic value of the Shell Shell (Kigi) of the Migani tribe, research location in Gamagae Village, Intan Jaya Regency. Classified as a type of basic research, the technique for determining respondents was chosen based on non-probability sampling (purposive judgment) and the population was homogeneous in terms of their knowledge about Kigi. The research data analysis method uses Willingness to pay (WTP) to determine the expected value of the rupiah unit as the maximum value desired by consumers/society to obtain the optimal benefit value of Kigi cultural objects. The conclusion of this research is that the expected economic Willingness to Pay (WTP) value of seashells (Kigi) in Intan Jaya Regency, as a cultural object, provides recognition of the optimal benefits of "social status" rather than the benefits of "economic status" needs.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of academic human resource (HR) transformation based on competency, research, and digitalization to improve the competitiveness of Private Higher Education Institutions (PTS) in Merauke. Using a qualitative approach through case study and mixed-methods methods, this study examines the challenges and strategies for optimizing academic HR management. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with PTS leaders, lecturers, and education staff, as well as participant observation, quantitative surveys, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that academic HR management in PTS Merauke faces various challenges, such as limited access to professional training, minimal research facilities, and low incentives for scientific publications. External factors, such as budget constraints and low levels of academic collaboration, also worsen the condition of HR development. To overcome these challenges, this study recommends a strategy to improve academic competency through continuous training, research incentives, and optimization of digitalization in learning and academic administration. The application of a HR management model based on competency, research, and technology is expected to improve the effectiveness of education, academic productivity, and the competitiveness of PTS Merauke at the national and global levels. By strengthening an inclusive and innovative academic ecosystem, higher education institutions in remote areas can be more adaptive to change and are able to produce quality and highly competitive academic staff.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques to analyze the influence of the dimensions of the green economy on the intention of zero waste behavior in the community of Wakatobi Regency. The sample of the study consisted of 120 respondents who met certain criteria, namely individuals who have been involved in activities supporting the principles of the green economy and have the intention to adopt zero waste behavior. The results indicate that all three dimensions of the green economy have a positive and significant impact on the intention of zero waste behavior, with the economic dimension making the largest contribution, followed by the environmental and social dimensions. The theoretical implications of this study enhance the understanding of the relationship between green economy dimensions and pro-environmental behavior, while the practical implications can be used to design more effective policies and educational programs to increase community participation in zero waste behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of consumer commitment on consumer satisfaction, mediated by consumer trust, within the cosmetics industry in Yogyakarta. Using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS), the study involved 121 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data was collected via a questionnaire measuring three main variables: consumer commitment, consumer trust, and consumer satisfaction using a 1-5 Likert scale. The analysis results indicate that consumer commitment significantly affects consumer trust, which in turn influences consumer satisfaction. Although the direct impact of commitment on satisfaction is not significant, consumer trust was found to significantly mediate the relationship between commitment and satisfaction. This study offers important implications for cosmetics companies to focus more on developing consumer commitment and trust to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Future research is recommended to broaden the scope by adding other variables, such as service quality, and testing the findings in different locations and products to improve the generalization of the results.

Abstract

The reconstruction of Islamic economic law is essential in addressing the dynamics of global economic development and the evolving needs of Muslim societies. This article aims to re-examine the normative and operational foundations of Islamic economic law through the lens of Maqashid al-Shari'ah, in order to establish a more inclusive, just, and contextual economic system. By employing a library research method and qualitative analysis, The findings of this study indicate that the reconstruction of Islamic economic law through the Maqashid al-Shari’ah approach is not merely a methodological necessity, but an epistemological imperative to address the complexities of global economic dynamics and the challenges faced by contemporary Muslim societies. Maqashid serves as a normative compass that balances text and context, as well as formal legality and substantive justice. By positioning maqashid as the foundation of reconstruction, Islamic economic law can be transformed into a system that is not only shari’ah-compliant but also socially transformative eliminating inequality, protecting rights, and establishing a progressive, solution-oriented, and universally beneficial Islamic economic order. Maqashid al-Shari’ah offers a constructive framework for adapting Islamic economic law to contemporary issues such as economic digitalization, financial inclusion, and consumer protection. This approach expands the scope of ijtihad within Islamic economic law without compromising the fundamental principles of shari’ah. The implication of such reconstruction is the strengthening of regulations grounded in the substantive values of Islam, rather than mere normative textualism.

Abstract

Land conflicts, particularly overlapping claims of land ownership and control, represent a structural issue that continues to recur in Indonesia due to population growth, technological advancement, and the increasing complexity of development. This study aims to analyze the role of the National Land Agency (BPN) in resolving overlapping land ownership cases in Tuloa Village, North Bulango District, Bone Bolango Regency. The research employs an empirical legal approach, collecting data through interviews, field observations, and document analysis, including land regulations and BPN archives. The findings reveal that the primary causes of overlapping land claims are the lack of physical boundary maintenance and changes in ownership status due to inheritance. BPN plays a role in document verification, mediation, and handling complaints, although it faces challenges such as staff rotation and a weak documentation system. The resolution of land disputes in Tuloa Village was achieved through a familial approach involving deliberation, facilitated by the village government and BPN, resulting in a mutual agreement on land division. The implications of this study highlight the need to strengthen BPN’s institutional capacity, enhance public legal awareness on land issues, and improve the administrative system to prevent similar conflicts in the future.
